Alani is a longhair karacel who researches horrors, and features as a main character in Incoming Transmission. She has a black and white palette with pink accent, and is easily spotted by her large tail and wide eyes. She is especially fluffy, and prone to fluffing up even further when startled (often).

Alani is a fairly nervous person who keeps to herself and her studies, preferring the company of books to others. It is unknown why she chose to get into such a dangerous field of study, but it doesn't seem to bother her any.

Alani's admiration for Chella is not hard to miss.
