Self-Love Type

“Self-love does not come easy to people. It is a difficult mountain to overcome, and TCPs are no different. Just because a type exists for such a thing does not make it easier for them to overcome their own challenges in life…at times, even harder.”

ID: 0234
Type: Self-Love
Category: Abstract
Height: 7 inches
Max Health: PERFECT (8)
Ability: EXTERNAL SELF CARE

Self-love types can sacrifice health to enter an ascended form for a short time. While in this form, they can see how much others around them value themselves, and can increase a person's feelings of self-worth, allowing them to appreciate and respect themselves better.
Physical Appearance: Self-love types have a standard, albeit slightly wide, body shape, with round, droopy earnubs and large abstract-type eyespots with small markings underneath. They have a large heart-shaped marking on their torso, with a small pointed marking above it. They have a small teardrop marking on their back, and markings on their ears. In ascended form, they gain an extra pair of arms as well as a heart-shaped halo, and their pupils enlarge.
Voice: Soft, soothing hums.
Skin: Standard skin
Fluid: Standard fluid
Special Attributes: None
Other Notes: Self-Love types can be found in many places but will generally live somewhere scenic with space to be alone. They usually prefer neutral temperatures and may avoid being outside if it's too hot or cold. Self-love types enjoy taking time for themselves and will generally have hobbies they can do alone. There is also added pressure for them to appear “put together”, so many take up an interest in fashion and beauty. They can be social cats, but many express feeling emotionally drained easily, and will pull away quickly when things seem uncomfortable. They like making sure their friends are taking care of themselves and will pressure other cats not to stress about “silly things”, which unfortunately leads to them being called dismissive. They don't have clear food preferences, but many will pick things labeled as health foods over sweets and snacks. Self-love types generally end up in therapy roles and have an easy time helping other cats identify why they may have trouble feeling unlovable. While they can help cats with outside issues, they will probably work on the internal issues first, and make sure their client is prepared to tackle other issues.
