| Ability: JUST WHAT I NEED Survival types can sacrifice health to enter an ascended form. While in this form, they can see dangerous or life-threatening situations others are in, and they can offer assistance to them. This assistance comes in a variety of forms depending on the exact situation, and the survival type has no control over the type of assistance it will give. The assistance given is always some form of internal change, such as greater willpower, improved coping skills, or quicker thinking. While these effects do not instantly remove the situation, it does give the subject the means to escape from it on their own. |

| Physical Appearance: Survival types have short earnubs, abstract-type eyespots with thin pupils, and horizontal band markings around their neck and torso, with vertical stripes within them. In ascended form, they gain an extra pair of arms as well as a thick ring-shaped halo with vertical ridges and differently-colored sections. Their pupils also enlarge, and one becomes a different color than the other. | |

| Other Notes: Survival types can adapt to even the harshest of environments, and some feel much more at home being somewhere that still has a sense of danger to it. If not, many take the opposite extreme, and prefer to be somewhere where almost every aspect is controlled. Survival types will often take to more dangerous hobbies and not even consider the risk, until it is pointed out to them. To keep the type safe, many become frequent visitors of escape rooms and indoor obstacle course. They can be social cats, usually befriending others who enjoy more daring feats. Some cats may struggle with their survival type friends not taking care of themselves properly, whether that be physically or mentally. Survival types often stock up on food type products that will go long periods of time without spoiling and may also hoard a large amount in case of emergency. Survival types are prone to anxiety and paranoia, but if they seem genuinely worried about something it should be taken seriously. They seem to have a knack for when things are going wrong. |
