Pet types have a soothing aura that can be intensified by interacting with the pet type. The exact type of interaction required is quite vague, and pretty much any positive interaction will work. Some examples include physical contact such as petting and skritching, or play activities such as fetch or tug-of-war.
Physical Appearance: Pet types have a standard shape and build. They have two arms and two legs, each having fingers and toes. They have a rounded tail. They have round eyespots with a white highlight, two floppy ears, small brows, and a triangular nose. They have markings on their ears, cheeks, paw pads, belly, snout, and stripes along her tail. They have a collar with a circular tag around their neck.
Voice: A chorus of barks, meows, chitters, squeaks, and more.
Skin: Thin, soft fur.
Fluid: Standard fluid.
Special Attributes: None.
Other Notes: Pet types prefer a mix of exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, with a focus on safety in both areas. They are highly active and need both lots of exercise to work off the constant energy buildup they get and lots of rest to regain that energy afterwards. Similarly, they are highly social, and particularly enjoy company from those they consider their loved ones. The dietary preference of a pet type varies wildly by individual, though food type products similar to those you'd see in pet food are most common. Pet types are very fond of being pet or scratched gently by those they trust, though it is recommended that complexes do so very gently, and, of course, only after asking.
