Sigil Type

“Those looking to practice magic (or simply enthusiasts) would be wise to pick up a sigil type as an assistant. While the existence of magic at large is controversial, these TCPs' personal magic is very effective, and not to be trifled with.”

ID: 0158
Type: Sigil
Category: Form
Height: 7 inches
Max Health: GREAT (6)
Ability: INSCRIBE

Sigil types, at the cost of health, can create sigils on any surface. These sigils have a pre-defined meaning that can affect specific people or groups of people with general emotions or feelings. Sigils do not affect the surface they are placed on in any way other than aesthetic purposes, and sigils may be activated by anyone, destroying the sigil (but not the object it rests on) and inflicting the effects in the process.
Physical Appearance: Sigil types have a standard body shape, with dark spots on the arms, legs, neck and torso, as well as several messy-looking lines all over the body, converging in the torso and head as three non-functional sigils.
Voice: Metallic humming and whining.
Skin: Standard skin
Fluid: Standard fluid
Special Attributes: None
Other Notes: Sigil type cats tend to lean towards rural environments, getting overwhelmed being in places too clustered together. They like being able to practice their magic and help other people with it, and many seem to have a natural scrap affinity. They are somewhat social cats, forming groups with other magic related cats or magic users, trading secrets amongst each other. A group of sigil types alone might become a dangerous force, but they're generally gentle natured cats. They do not handle hate for magic very well, and actively avoid uncomfortable interactions, becoming either distressed or angered if forced into a situation. Sigil types do not have a collective food preference, but their personal preferences are very strong, and some seek certain foods to make their created sigils stronger. Sigil types consider using their magic against a non-magic user in anger without physical provocation an extreme taboo, and actions can lead to them being ostracized from their communities. However, verbal threats that seem serious can sway this opinion, leaving the attacker open for whatever damage the sigil can deal.
