“The exact thickness of a shadow type varies, but most have been observed to be about half as thick as a sheet of corrugated cardboard. This allows them to slip underneath doorways and into many nooks and crannies that would be otherwise inaccessible to most TCPs.” | ID: 0861 |

Ability: PLANAR PUPPETEERING Shadow types can alter the shape of their body into various forms, which affects the aura they radiate. By default, they do not radiate any aura, but depending on their shape, they can radiate auras of fantasy and whimsy or fear and dread. |
|
Physical Appearance: Shadow types appear as a projection on a 2d surface, and can move in all directions on any surface, they do have mass, and are slightly raised above the surface they are on. They have a standard shape with a standard build. They resemble a standard TCP's shadow with a more creepy or scary appearance, with a jagged mouth, cheek spots, round eyespots, and pointy earnubs. They have two arms and no legs, instead resembling a pool of shadows which sometimes attaches to items or individuals around the shadow type.
Voice: Wispy babbling.
Externals: Velvety and barely tangible.
Internals: None. | |
Special Attributes: None.
Other Notes: Shadow types can live pretty much anywhere as long as it's well-lit, but they often prefer areas with lots of different shapes and textures to cling to. They tend to be very energetic TCPs, and can often be found dancing and sliding along the walls. Shadow types tend not to interact with many people outside of other shadow types, as their preferred method of movement makes it difficult to interact with most other beings. Shadow types aren't particularly picky when it comes to food, but they do seem to enjoy porous foods such as bread and cheese. While shadow types cling to walls and other surfaces most of the time, they can peel themselves free and traverse 3-dimensional space normally. However, this is immensely uncomfortable for them, and they can barely move properly due to how thin their body is. |
