Eurypterid Type

“The size of a euryptid type makes their shells extremely valuable, with many TCPs seeking them out for plate armor.”

ID: 1018
Type: Eurypterid Type
Category: Creature
Height: 8 inches
Ability: SHELL SHED

Eurypterid types will occasionally shed their shells over time. Failure to shed will lead to the shell becoming flimsy, and easily broken. When their shells shed, they are more vulnerable for a brief period of time, and are weaker in all departments until a new shell reforms.
Physical Appearance: Eurypterid types have segmented armor plates covering their entire body, as well as a pair of mandible-like horns on the lower part of their face. Their torso plates are a separate color from those on their arms, legs, and head, and they have small dot eyespots and pointed earnubs.
Voice: Small chittering and crackling.
Skin: Hard carapace.
Fluid: Standard fluid.
Special Attributes: None
Other Notes: Eurypterid types are an enigma to our research facility- even with their large size, they are hard to find and most of our specimens were purposefully spawned here. This doesn't appear to be due to a lack of people thinking about them, due to many animals on our planet falling under said classification…but many of our notes are lacking. What we do know is that they prefer aquatic environments by a large margin, are fairly solitary, and have low energy levels. They also enjoy meaty diets, especially fish-based food type products, and spend a lot of their days swimming around and enjoying full submersion. We seek to learn more someday…
