Category: Nature
Height: 4 inches

Briar types can sacrifice health in order to create and control briar bushes.
Physical Appearance: Brair types have a standard shape made of coiled, thorned vines. They have two long, whip-like arms and standard legs. They lack eyespots but have small, thorn earnubs which closely resemble horns.
Voice: Wood cracking and groaning.
Skin: Tough, thorny bark.
Fluid: Xylem and phloem.
Special Attributes: None.
Other Notes: Briar types are most often found in woodsy areas, near lakes and rivers. They don't like places with lots of foot traffic and may team up to block paths they don't want people walking down. Many enjoy hiking, swimming, and gardening, enjoying a quiet life. Some get very invested in fairytales and fantasy, which often puts them in a villain's role, but is romanticized enough that it feels like a compliment to their strength. They aren't very social cats, finding themselves being considered scary, and worrying they will hurt friends they can make. They cherish times when others try to include them. Usually, they have simple food type preferences, water and wild berries. It's not unheard of for a briar type to enjoy simple prey food types, think bugs, feeder mice, or fish. In the spring or summer, some briar types will grow beautiful flowers. Many will hide during these times, fearing that other cats may try to steal their flowers from them.
