Hypnotism Type

“Performing hypnotism requires a lot of training and practice. If you don't know what you're doing, trying to hypnotize someone will just result in funny looks from passersby. That being said, it's a bit unnerving that there is a TCP that knows how to hypnotize someone instinctively.”

ID: 0255
Type: Hypnotism
Category: Abstract
Height: 7 inches
Max Health: FANTASTIC (7)
Ability: YOU'RE GETTING VERY SLEEPY

Hypnotism types can sacrifice health to enter an ascended form and hypnotize a target. The target will be put into a hypnotic trance for a period of one to two minutes, during which they will be extremely suggestible to instructions or statements. Once they awaken, they will not have any memory of what was said to them during the trance, although they will remember going in and out of said trance.
Physical Appearance: Hypnotism types have stripes all over their body emanating from their head. They have spiral eyespots, and curved, hornlike earnubs.
Voice: TCP babbling with a layer of vibrato.
Skin: Standard skin.
Fluid: Standard fluid, with small circles floating inside. These circles have a spiral pattern etched into them.
Special Attributes: When ascended, a hypnotism type's eyespots will swirl.
Other Notes: Hypnotism types prefer indoor environments, particularly with well furnished rooms. They are not inclined towards using their abilities one way or another, though those who do end up using their powers on others tend to skew either towards either honing their skills on others, or avoiding opportunities to use them whenever possible. They are not very active TCPs and spend a lot of time resting, sometimes prone to periods of outright lethargy. They are very social TCPs when not resting, however, and need regular interaction to uphold a healthy mental state. They enjoy desserts and sweets for their preferred diets, especially those with swirls. There is much debate on the ethics of a hypnotism type's ability, leading to a good number of these TCPs seeking nullification in order to placate peoples' worries- or at the very least, claiming to have done so.
