Television Type

“Television types can display many faces in addition to their ability to pick up signals, making them expressive TCPs indeed. Keeping track of how many expressions just one of my specimens has is impossible, suggesting the faces themselves are only limited by the imagination.”

ID: 0197
Type: Television
Category: Machine
Height: 5 inches
Max Health: GREAT (6)
Ability: RECEPTOR

Television types can receive signals through their antennae and display them on their screen. The dials on their torso may be used to select different signals, if it is receiving multiple. The TCP may change its display to any kind of face at any time, but may not display other content unless it receives an appropriate signal.
Physical Appearance: Television types have a standard body shape, with their head being replaced by a small box with a screen on the front and two antennae on top. Their torso has two small dials on it, and there are two rings on the neck leading up to the box. Their face does not have a standard appearance, and changes based on what the TCP wants to display.
Voice: Static and beeping. It can also broadcast any audio it may recieve.
Skin: Cold and metallic. The face is smooth, rounded glass.
Fluid: Standard fluid, with a handful of wires floating in it.
Special Attributes: None
Other Notes: Television types vastly prefer indoor environments to outdoor ones, leaning more towards the average house or apartment over anything else. They often spend time flicking through channels both with themselves or others, and are capable of “watching” whatever it is displayed on their screen. They are a highly social typing that craves interaction frequently, though watching television with people or even just voices in it seems to satisfy that need temporarily. They prefer snack-based food type products and gravitate towards junk food ideal for a TV-side snack. While displaying something on their screen, many television types have their thoughts impacted by the material shown- though this doesn't seem to be an inherent phenomenon.
