Wolf Type

“The similarities between wolf and dog types are very obvious to those in the know, but the wolf TCP is a much more wild creature, pack bonds being both strained and strengthened more readily.”

ID: 0228
Type: Wolf
Category: Creature
Height: 5 inches
Max Health: GREAT (6)
Ability: WOLF PACT

Wolf types generate a passive aura that encourage others around it to band together in groups. Trust and cooperation is generally increased within a group, but there is also a general increase in aggression between different groups. This aura generally seems to work with preexisting feelings, meaning that a group of friends would be more likely to end up in the same group than be randomly distributed amongst strangers. Similarly, people who dislike one another tend to end up in separate groups.
Physical Appearance: Wolf types have an elongated face, with a large nose, curved eyespots, and pointed earnubs. There is a thick, fluffy collar around their neck, and their hands and feet have lines on them, making them resemble paws. They also have a bushy tail, as well as a marking extending from their face down to their belly, as well as markings on the tips of their hands and feet.
Voice: Growls, yips, and the occasional howl.
Skin: Thick, coarse fur.
Fluid: Standard fluid.
Special Attributes: None
Other Notes: Wolf types often prefer the cover of night and will stick to more natural environments with lots of room to move and run around. They love forests, the more heavily wooded an area the safer they feel. Wolf types enjoy activities they can do together and keep active to protect themselves and their pack. They are social but not particularly friendly, often seeking out a pack and not many other friends. A lone wolf type is not unheard of, but they may struggle with feeling lonely. Wolf types will often hire food types to participate in “hunting exercises” where the food type hides and runs from the pack. The hunt is important mental stimulation, and strengthens pack bonds, but it's not a requirement for the type to actually hunt. They have a heavy preference for meat, and enjoy working together to get a meal, but they often fight amongst each other for who should eat first. In desperate times they may go to berries and mushrooms but would almost never pick that over meat types. Wolf types are very good at finding the right pitch and harmonizing with each other, and it's not uncommon for them to make performances for wandering cats in hopes of acquiring goods. Wolves will also often communicate from a distance with different kinds of howls to other packs, friendly or not, with dog types also having some sort of basic understanding as to what is being said.
