Spit's cult has a tendency to target pockitts (and mothlies) post Wane and Velvet dying, typically for cannibalistic sacrifice
- Physical disability and mental health conditions are very common among pockitts in Consumption, otherwise rate of disability/conditions is fairly standard
- Pockitts enjoy hammocks and similarly enveloping sleeping situations, anything that can emulate a pouch
- Special cloth accessories (not particularly unlike underwear) are made to help line a pockitt's inner pouch to keep things stored in it (and the pockitt themself) clean and safe
- Books and stories hold special significance to pockitts thanks to Velvet's influence, and it is very common for a family/community to keep records of life and their history
- Keepsakes are also highly valued due to the stories they can tell, and most pockitts are prone to forming collections of things that hold personal significance to them
- Due to pockitts being shorter than most other Taverne species, special accommodations are made in buildings and transportation where they can be found (see: extra stairs/stepstools, cushions for seating, etc). Extra care goes into making sure these aren't demeaning/infantilizing in areas where pockitts are respected, in order to give them equal footing at whatever the scenario may be
- Pockitts went through a traditional schooling structure in Whimsy, and tend to lean towards that if possible
- Homeschooling however was equally viable, especially if a community had specific lessons and topics they wanted to teach a child (for example, how to survive in the desert for a community in Precipice)
- Pockitts enjoy cozy homes with less open space than most, and are typically content squeezing larger numbers of pockitts into smaller spaces
- Messing around with someone else's pocket is very rude and inappropriate! Don't do it!
- Scars are considered an addition to someone's personal story, and are to be respected
- To have one's pocket exposed is to show great trust with the people around them...or to have convenience in accessing its contents
- Pockitts are capable of fighting with their teeth, claws, and tails
- While not intimidating as other species in Taverne, pockitts are still very capable of holding their own in fights, and are not to be underestimated
- Theater and literature are hugely valued forms of entertainment for pockitts, though many have found their way into television and cinema in order to tell stories through other mediums

PROXY FORMS (Feel Free to Ask Questions) _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Proxy is a unusual phenomenon typically found among scrap sensitives though observed in others too. To some it's a state of higher being, to others that weird invisible friend their parents assure them isn't real and didn't beat up big Billy at school. Either way, it's a manifestation of some form of inner strength and potential into a physical construct that's there to do a job for a few shreds.
The Proxy typically works on a "Fulfillment" system, granting abilities and strengths correlating to the most urgent desires and needs of those who invoked them into the physical world. How direct or loosely these are interpreted is the result of the natural strengths of the individual. Negative self opinions may also flesh themselves out onto this. Sensitives who invoke their Proxy may find deviations reflective of the nature of the scraps used to project them.
The Proxy may either manifest as a separate physical entity or overlayed onto the invoker. The former are referred to by some as "Floaters" and the latter as "Layers"
In the case of "Floaters", the Proxy will generally trail close and should they separate too far from the user, dismiss themselves until invoked again. Floaters may mirror the actions of the user who invokes them.
They say a Floater that regularly pantomimes its user is capable of becoming a Layer.
Should a Floater undergo significant traumatic strain or find themselves regularly committing actions dissociative of their invoker, they may become a separate entity. The Floater cannot go too far from their invoker and as such may drag them around like a disobedient dog on a leash. More than often they work out their issues. Misunderstandings happen. Should it go unnoticed for too long one's proxy may end up braver than them. Asking them for advice may sometimes be helpful.
"Layers" manifest over the user to create a transformative state, typically very temporary. Because the Proxy is said to overlap between physical and metaphysical realms, doing intensive work in this state for excessively long periods of time will put heavy strain on the Invoker's original form.
They say those who's Proxy goes from a Floater to a Layer have built up the courage to fight for themselves. Layers gain the physical endurance of the Proxy
Should the Invoker die while the Proxy is overlayed on top of them, every shred in their body will burn out. There will be no scrap left. This is considered true death in most cultures who value the Proxy as a concept.
The Proxy has many regional names, such as "True Self" or "Scrap Formations".
A popular game among those of paranormal or occultist interests, such as witches and moody teenagers, is to create a homunculi to manifest their Proxy temporarily using tarot decks and a organic mass. It's usually fairly safe if tedious to set up. This assumes of course there is no intercepting from unusual entities.
Of note is that Proxies often change in nature overtime. A Proxy may look or function drastically 10 years from when they formed.
They say a Proxy that's changed forms many times over a short period is one that reflects growth or hardship.
They also say should everyone in the room's proxies manifest abruptly, either something terrible that should not exist in this world will exist, or are no longer are in the world they started off in.
In the former, pick a god and pray. It's downhill from there. In the latter, don't bother. Your god won't hear you. Spooky.
They also say there's several kinds of creatures who integrate a proxy into their biology. It's been difficult to confirm how true it is.

Hi! It's me, Timothy! Recently I've been exploring my pocket dimension, and I've noticed it has tons of plants I haven't even seen yet! But I guess they're in my subconscious because I read about them...neat, right? Well, there's this one type of flower that's even more rare than all the others. It grows in Hearth, but it's eluded me for a while, and this place is pretty big...would anyone like to help me find it?

1. past/present/future reading, 75 points. you get a list of the cards i drew w/ their meanings, as well as - if applicable - a gut association with them, followed by a blurb with a character's history and motivation. i source from multiple decks and meanings to get a multi-faceted character. if u got one before, these are gonna be longer, as well as -
2. mind/body/spirit reading, 50 points. the latter half! separating these properly, this is so i can go more in depth w/ a blurb about the tcp's personality and self. i'll do a shorter "this tcp" quote for summary and ease of use.

Since I suck at doing the research prompts and I am now aware that one can create a shop and offer services in exchange for points, I intend to do so right here.
Services:
Poetry [100 Points] Approx. 10-20 lines of character-based poetry. Well developed characters are ideal, absolutely anything that contributes to their characterization is beneficial. Playlists, Short Stories, Roleplaying entries, etc.
Blurbs [50 points] Approx. 2-5 lines of prompt-like description. Having trouble working out a starting off point for a character that you have a design for? I can offer a cursory blurb that may serve to kickstart your character building. Design required 5 at a time
Examples: "Heed my voice, yee devout and yee heretic. Tremble before the gaze and blade of divine will manifest before thee. Blood spills before her feet. Viscera shreds at a wave of her hand. Bow before the Crimson King."
Witless, that's how all the new ones are. This cloud type that just drifted through your door is just like the rest of them. Or so you thought, till it pulls out a little ball and looks you right in the eyes. "Duck!" The cloud type throws the ball and it explodes into a cloud of thick smoke. Your convenience store is suddenly filled with the sounds of crashing and banging. When the smoke finally clears, all that remains in your store is a note on the counter before you. A scrap of paper really, inscribed upon it in a crisp script in blue ink is a curt 'Sorry!'.
The show must go on. You turn towards the band you scheduled for tonight. They look at you dumbly, completely unaware of where their lead singer is. You tear off, completely fed up with the whole affair. This pop group was the worst choice imaginable to book. Your advertising director told you it'd be a bad choice. You storm into a back room and shove a donut in your mouth. You hear quiet whimpering once the door slams shut. You look around the room as you chew, lifting up a blanket, you find the dog-type lead singer of the band you booked, cowering. "P-p-please don't m-make me g-g-g-go on. I-I-I-I can't d-d-do this anymore."

ORIGIN
- Originated in Plaza (Inner District)
- Created originally to assist those in need of aids and support living, particularly the living. Were not designed directly by any particular god but rather by an affiliate under the late entity Rustle.
- After Rustle’s death, many efforts to integrate them properly with the rest of society were pushed by her remaining demons. Notable amongst those is her successor Paladin Mori. She’s not fond of being asked about the details.

CULTURE
- Participate in Plaza’s dueling culture, albeit less than fully mechanical constructs whom are easier to repair.
- Educational Structure akin to Earth’s common early childhood to adulthood systems. Homeschooling may happen.
- Religions in area lean toward the vastness of nature and the world rather than the local gods who have more celebrity-esque status.
- Modest body modification scene relative toward other species of whom have unusually mod friendly bodies.
- Leanings into very soft, flowy, relaxing attire due to influence from synthetic constructs in the area.
- Are huge on recreational and entertainment based hobbies.
- Spectator sports are big. Expect yelling across the neighborhood when the local basketball or baseball team wins.
- They Karaoke hard. If someone gets overly invested and emotional even if it’s terrible (it usually is) there will be an uproar from the audience.
- Many believe huge success is unreasonable and rather focus on smaller scale personal fulfillment.
- Work toward a four season festive structure. Every 3 months there’s island-wide celebration in response to any growth the people have managed, whether it’s successful personal success or raking in the cash with their turtle themed restaurant…

- Long floppy ears with various deviations for the most part.
- Various belly markings.
- Small cotton-ball or swirl esque tails

- Tend to be wider from the waist down.
- Average adult height ranges lean from 5’5 to 5’11
- Moustaches and longer hair-like scruff may appear are the results of selective grooming. Common to dye. They can all potentially have horrible viking beards.
- Usually don’t have Digitigrade legs.
- Fur naturally comes in various shades of grey, black, brown, blonde, and white.
- Have Yellow eyes with Red Irises, sometimes with visible black pupils.
- Vocalizations contain traits that emulate the environmental sounds of their upbringing. Those that came from bustling cities aren’t the greatest singers.

BIOLOGY
- Have a fairly standard skeletal structure with certain joints and organs simplified to make body bods and replacements easy.
- Teeth will continuously grow overtime and thus gnawing is crucial toward good dental health.
- Omnivorous.
- Resistant toward many common epidemic causing diseases. Despite this, weirdly prone to the common cold.
- High resistance toward horror.
- Lay Eggs. Eggs are rock-like in texture.
- They’re rodents probably.
- They lack in any real heavy sexual dimorphisms even into adulthood. This makes personal gender and identity expression relatively easy. Common thread across most forms of construct designed on the island, organic or inorganic.
- Often have exposed joints.
- Due to being a relatively young species they lack in any evolutionary morphs.

LIFE CYCLE/FAMILY STRUCTURE
- Reproduce sexually, often with rather large nests. Damn Rabbits.
- Live with parents through childhood but often move on to a different district by adulthood. Exceptions apply.
- Lifespan averages at around 85 earth years, though some have lived as high as 120.
- They lean into long term relationships if possible. The various port towns on their home island are an emotional trainwreck after visits from particularly charismatic tourists.
- Maintaining relationships with friends and family is important and can be both be a thing of fulfillment and stress when putting in the work to stay on good terms with those close to them.
