we will open and close this thread for questions in sessions and whatever you give us, we have to answer, unfortunately it will not go in the wiki because No but i will go put it in the reproduction thread if applicable

sessions opening and closing will be announced here and on discord, they will occasionally be themed, and there is a nonzero chance we will draw for them because 1) como is encouraging us (especially me, rin) to draw for fun more and 2) i need some incentive and reason to warrant actually pinging people for this

so here we go:
 

• An item will be given to your character to be delivered (ideally) on 12/25, based on the prompt provided
  
• do not describe any item in advance, but describing the area where your character ends up is okay and would help a lot!
  
• You can write anywhere from a few sentences to a couple paragraphs, but don't go too heavy unless you really want to- it won't affect the quality of your gift.
  
• One character maximum per person, no entrant limit, system members welcome to enter.
  
• keep in mind that there is no specific morbit holiday in mind here- it is the ambiguous morbit holiday season, so feel free to make shit up
  

welcome to mystery gift, a new kind of forum game! anyone can host a giveaway in which participants answer writing prompts with their characters, and in return, hosts create a new custom item for participants to mess around with in their own stories and roleplaying adventures.

this is part of our new attempt to boost forum activity, RP shenanigans and character enrichment all in one go. 
 

• considering this is a mystery gift, you can be pretty vague here if you want. even just saying "an item" or "an outfit" or "an animal companion" is fine.
  
• specifying whether it's drawn or written is also a good plan- we recommend written only unless you put an entry limit in!
  

• participants need to write something based on your prompt, in order for you to provide a neat mystery item to their character
  
• this prompt can be anything, but keeping it broad lets people come up with more stories!

welcome to the seeking board! here you can post wanted ads for roleplays (both one on one and group) and character/lore building, such as wanting to make your character some friends (or enemies...), build lore together, maybe work on a species together, anything!

Please feel free to add your own stories, but I work retail. I have... many *interesting* stories about customers.

Gonna start off with last year, guy starts complaining cause Feliz Navidad is playing.
" They shouldn't play this its not a Christmas song."
Dread washes over me, but I stop facing and turn to him "but sir, it is a Christmas song."
He answers, not missing a beat. "No its not. It doesn't even say Merry Christmas."
I have to think about that one, process it. Let it set in. Then I, stupidly, respond "it.. it has English lyrics as well sir."
And again, he doesn't falter, "No. They play two separate songs at the same time to confuse you."
I am defeated. I will not win this one. I just say "okay" and walk away.
