today is a chill day for Pippa. i did see him singing earlier, but it was only for a couple seconds and i couldn't get a picture.
 

i did notice that every single item in the shop this morning was ball, though. i have heard tales of glitched V2s inexplicably starting to replace items with ball, but nothing seems to be replaced in the inventory, and the shop had a normal selection after it reset a few minutes ago, so it seems we have avoided the Curse of Ball for now, and just got a very funny shop roll.
 

a few matchmaker calls have come for Bean, but we are being choosy with marriage partners, so nothing has come of it yet. waiting on the right one. also there was a sale on Throne and it's funny that this item is so expensive and has a whole 1 corresponding animation frame.
 

before sending Mimo out on his date, i decided to try the Work feature that unlocks for the adult stage. rather than the work minigames from the devices and Eternitchi, this seems to just be an activity you can place them in and then leave them idle, and it gives you points based on how long they're there (along with draining the Fun meter significantly.)
 

i wish i could get $5 every 13 seconds
 

Mimo's date went well. these two have been playing well since childhood, so it's unsurprising.
 

the marriage resulted in an egg that hatched into another Teletchi, and the game suggested "Agathetchi" as a name, which i thought was a funny contrast to Mimo, so her name is Agatha now. from what i can tell, rather than care mistakes, evolutions here seem to be based on how many "care stars" you have acquired by fulfilling specific wants, so i will probably try to get a lower amount at this stage this time to try to get a different character.
 

another animal has also appeared in the backyard. it seems to like to play with Pep.
 

Agatha has also made some park friends, two identical Shiropetitchi.
 

since Mimo is on Agatha's friends list by default, he can also come play at any time.
 

in the meantime, it seemed like a good time to finally play with Cancri, Asellus's raster friend.
 

he immediately slapped the beach ball as soon as it was brought out. slappable

as is often the case with ball creatures i have adopted, Cancri seems to be finicky, at least with food.

They woke up to evolve last night. Death went back to bed immediately, Jakii stayed up. I waited for her to go back to sleep, and eventually just turned the light off. She went to sleep shortly after.

*does some googling* They both started out as Shiroteletchi (baby girl) and became Tamatchi. Now Death has become Young Mametchi, and Jakii has become Nikatchi.

A gray dog joins the backyard crew. Its name is now Marijo. We feed it bread. Kessi has the same buff as Zaneta.... we release it back into the wild. Maintaining it would be too much work. We play with the remaining two until they are fully happy.

We invite Melodius to the park! How fun.

Dwarf Fortress Continued!


This is our first artifact. I didn't inspect it too closely, kinda got into a weird flow state.
It is currently the year 103. We've made a few artifacts by now, mostly in the realm of hematite bracelets and lignite earrings, but we do have an artifact iron sword, which is cool.

We've gotten a few thieves, nothing too serious. No armies at our doorstep, probably because we aren't at war.
I also made a tavern! I forgot its name.

My dwarves did a line dance! That was cool to see. You may also notice the suspiciously pale dwarf in the center. We had some necromancers move in as migrants in like, 102, I think? There's 3 of them currently. I think it'd be funny to make more of them. One of the necromancers has a daughter with a miner in the fortress. I also dropped that miner down a well on accident, realized she'd left her child in the cave waters, and used DFHack to teleport it out. May be cheating but I don't wanna deal with that kind of heartbreak so early on.
Also, one of these necromacners reanimated a kobold thief like, 40 times. It was still fighting while it was being put down by my small speardwarf militia, and one dwarf killed the same kobold 39 times. They got a title from this.

Here is one of the necromancers! He is a priest of The Oily Communion. I think they worship jewels and something else. Could be funny to design a morbitian god based off one of these. I'll check up on the names of gods later.

Things that have happened that I don't have pictures of:
- Built a functional well specifically so that I could get my hospital up and running because one of the necromancers got in a fight and lost his nose. I took so long to get soap that the poor bastard had an infection in literally every infectable part of his body. Somehow didn't die and got better, actually.
- There are two corpses in the well. I memorialized them.
- There are stuck traders in my plot of land. They haven't left yet.
- I constructed, deconstructed, and reconstructed some outdoor farm plots.
- I tried to set up automatic food production using work orders. This is hard.
- I made a library with some necromancers as scholars hoping they'll write a silly book.
- My main export is really well made wooden bolts.
- I have purchased a herd of alpacas for wool.
- I have one (1) giant boar and one (1) black bear.
- The elves are mad at me.
- I've given most children in this fort nicknames so I can track them throughout history.
- I've been visited by many animal people. Some highlights being a kestrel woman archer, a rat man hammerman, and an elephant woman scholar.
- I've somehow, magically, not been raided by cave civilizations, forgotten beasts, or surface monstrosities like were-creatures and titans.
- I've been training a team of engravers to enhance my rooms.
- I have some quantum stockpiles set up for wood, corpses, and stone. This is in an effort to unclog my main stockpile. I might try to make a quantum for furniture too, as I'm using a few traps.
- I am agonizing over how the Fuck I'm going to make a mist machine because I don't know how to build a pump stack.
- We are now a barony! We have one (1) holding somewhere in the hills nearby.

Moon 37
   Arielpaw receives his full name. Arielecho, and feels a great joy in that. 
   Gullfeather, moving past his grief from a kit death, tells Wavestar he'll retire in a few moons. His bones ache, and he knows she doesn't need him like she used to. Wavestar and Breezethistle both try to take this news well, but the trio all have tears in their eyes the rest of the clan can't quite understand.
   Gullfeather, still, is the deputy. He takes a risk one patrol, alone, and gets a dog to chase him away from clan. He's sure the stars guided his steps as he did so.

Moon 38
   Arielecho and Sharkdance are joking around on patrol, and stumble upon a lonely kit. It hisses and swats at them, weakly, and Arielecho knows they have to take it home. They name him Algaepaw, and he wiggles his way into the clans hearts.
   A cat named Isabella finds a patrol and pounces, beyond excited. She chatters incessantly about how she's trained, how "he darkest of stars lead her to them", and how she simply must join. Breezethistle hears she can talk to ghosts and asks if that makes her a medicine cat, she says no "the rivers have other plans". 
   Wavestar let's her name herself Isabellariver and the rest of the clan seems uneasy.

Moon 39
   Gullfeather announces to the clan he will be retiring, and the clan is silent. Wavestar is suddenly alone again, up there, with so many more eyes this time, and she looks to her mother for guidance. Breezethistle is unhelpful but encouraging, motioning for her to continue, and she announces Scaleblossom as the next deputy. Cats congratulate him, he looks smug as he takes a place beside his older sister, and Isabellariver giggles about the ghosts being unhappy. 
   Isabellariver returns from a night patrol with two small kits on day, her eyes heavy with grief. Wavestar asks for her to explain, says she's very understanding that "cutting kittypet ties is hard" and that she's still a fresh clanmate so the others will understand. Isabellariver hiccups, and quietly informs the leader that the kits were her sisters, but infect has lead to her begging Isabella to give them a different life. Wavestar welcomes Basskit and Marshkit warmly, and tries to comfort her clanmate.
   Crabgrass is tasked with helping Gullfeather around for the moon, and does so proudly. While out and about an enemy warrior attacks, and Gullfeather is very impressed when Crabgrass is only bruised. The same can not be said for Sharkdance, who protects his mate from a fox and ends up injured. At least the clan is there to help him.
   Wavestar is delighted when Divebramble and Brackishtide announce they are mates, and congratulates them both. She also admits she thought they were already mates, and most of the clan seems to agree. 

Moon 40
   Breezethistle is sick and overwhelmed, and maybe is a bit too hissy with the kits. She and Wavestar, along with the rest of the clan, are surprised when Algaepaw announces during his ceremony he wants to be her apprentice instead. Wavestar allows it, much to Breezethistle's annoyance.
   Breezethistle is... not a very welcoming mentor. She hasn't had to share her space before, and this kit is always watching her, and she's still sick herself. Just a headache, but it lingers. While on a patrol, the normally quiet Algaepaw pipes up to ask her if this was a mistake. If he should have been a warrior. She looks at him, says if he wants the easy route they can switch him back, and tells him that any cat who wants the easy route won't last as a medicine cat. He purrs excitedly, saying the challenge is what he needs.
   Scaleblossom whispers to Wavestar that Algaepaw is probably their mother's from another affair, expecting her to laugh. Wavestar tries not to let his comment bug her and spends the evening with her mother and the apprentice.

Moon 41
   Colby Jacksplash is hissed at by Scaleblossom for bringing more kits to clan, claiming the other cats not even trying to be a clan cat and it shows. Wavestar attempts to greet the kits warmly and gets snarled at. She's unsure what she's done, so Isabellariver quietly explains what happened while on a walk with the leader.
   Riverstripe can tell cats are hesitant to talk to Scaleblossom, but they're clanmates! She makes a joke about the patrol choices this moon that makes cats giggle, and Scaleblossom takes it personally. He growls and attacks her, leaving the cat injured, and tells the rest of the clan he's not afraid to fight them as well.
Wavestar and Isabellariver return in high spirits, only to be informed of the commotion. No cat dares interfere in the screaming match between the leader and deputy.
   Wavestar visits the nursery again, and from a distance tells Colby Jacksplash that Spongekit and Sandkit are lovely and will fit in perfectly.

Moon 42
   Scaleblossom doesn't take his sister yelling at him well, and decides not to listen to her punishment. He gets his leg stuck in a two leg trap, and howls for hours alone, until a search party finds him. He's taken back to camp heavily injured.
   Coralhiss paces the Rueclan border like, waiting for some cat. She's angry, she's hurt, she waits hours until Wavestar makes her go home. She needs the clan to stop being unruly for a moment.

Moon 43
   Nothing too important happens this moon. Scaleblossom is still injured, Algaepaw and Breezethistle seem unable to come up with solutions. Scaleblossom wouldn't dare speak ill of his mother infront of her, but oh does he think things.
   Wavestar can't seem to relax, even with a quiet moon.

Moon 44
   Pondclan's new leader, Finchstar, challenges Wavestar to a race. She pretends to be uninterested, but soon the two leaders are racing back and forth, swatting rocks and sticks at eachother, and laughing. Most of the cats from Coastalclan find Wavestar's energy this moon to be wonderful, but in the medicine cat den Scaleblossom nearly bites his leg off, feeling bitter
   Isabellariver meets a cat from Doeclan, an arrogant older cat, who teases her clan. Riverkit tempts Isabella to kill the other cat, and she only barely avoids doing so. 
   Coal, a rogue who has been occasionally attempting to steal prey, joins the clan hoping they'll heal his green cough. They rename him Penguinmask. 
Breezethistle nearly slashes Scaleblossom's ear when he says he wants a nest further from intruders.

Moon 45
   The moons have been going well, Wavestar feels relaxed. Basskit and Marshkit couldn't be having a different reaction to apprentice hood, with Bass nearly chewing his own tail off. Wavestar pities him, and gives him to his mother Isabellariver as an apprentice. Marshpaw is given to Crabgrass, who ruffles her fur and talks about all the things they'll do. 
   Currentspeckle takes her time telling some kits and clanmates a thrilling tale. The entire clan feels alive and together. She takes a stroll that night and doesn't return. Pearldusk leads a search to find her that morning, only to find out she was attacked by a badger. 
   Breezethistle is beside herself with grief and hides away in her den, clinging to a bit of bedding until it stops smelling like Currentspeckle. Rayshimmer remains quiet, frozen, and stares at everyone, as if the world is passing around him. Wavestar has Algaepaw guide him to the medicine den with Breezethistle, and she takes care of them while Algaepaw handles the injuries of the clan alone.
   Basspaw is not going to make a good warrior, the ghosts whisper to Isabellariver constantly. He trips over his own paws, he's scared of mice and frogs, and he hates how mud feels. She approaches Pearldusk, offers a distraction, says an apprentice would help. Wavestar agrees, and silences any confused whispers from the rest of the clan. 
   With Wavestar at his side, her tail circling him from the tempered deputy, Algaepaw explains to Scaleblossom the pain is likely permanent. This injury is too severe. He growls, says the kit must have done something to make it worse, and only flinches a little when Wavestar snaps at him in warning. They have enough problems without him hurting clanmates.
   Eelnewt abandons gender, and explains they are nonbinary. Wavestar will hear no arguments, and just tells their sibling to do what makes them happy.
   Sharkdance and Craneclaw find a sick cat and take him back to the clan, Shark warning Crane to stop quiting cats who can't even stand up at the moment. 
   A few days in Beatle explains to Wavestar that his humans left him by the thunderpath, and he'd like to forget them. He takes the name Egretfreckle.

Moon 46
   Algaepaw has a lot of work on his plate, and Wavestar trues to be supportive. She begs her clanmates to be kind to the apprentice, and only has to scold one or two for lashing out. Green cough is spreading, and Algae worries he's failing.
   Algaepaw approaches Scaleblossom with a bundle of herbs to eat to help with pain, and some exercises to do. He goes to swat the apprentice, but several warning hisses from clanmates stop him in his paws. He takes the herbs and leaves, and Algaepaw goes back to tending to the clan.
   Wavestar approaches Breezethistle quietly, asks if she can help the apprentice a little, trys to get her up. Breezethistle says she helped the clan alone for moons, surely Algaepaw can too. Wavestar says he's just a kit, the clan is much bigger, but doesn't push further.
   Brackishtide, while alone with her mate Divebramble, spends the patrol complimenting the she cat. Says how luck she is, how the clan adores her, how she wishes they could do this every day. They return to camp and share some prey.
   Riverstripe and Isabellariver meet a tom named Cutie, who runs faster than any cat they've seen. He says he's far too busy to be stuck in a clan, but with Isabellariver and Riverstripe talking about him so much Wavestar sets out to find him.

Moon 47
   Spongekit and Sandkit are full of boundless energy and won't stop talking about what their apprenticeship will be like. They are apprenticed to Craneclaw and Coralhiss respectively.
   Breezethistle wakes up startled, and leaves her den for the first time in days. She is kind to her apprentice, compliments him on his hard work, and starts helping him with the workload. Algaepaw is grateful. But the nightmares get her again after a few days, and she remains unhelpful.
   Cutie is found outside the clan, and manages to dazzle his way into meeting the leader. He has hundreds of stories to tell, and no one is sure what to believe, but he's fast and he'll make a great hunter. He's welcomed with open paws and named Cutiebreeze.
   Coastalclan celebrates the announcement of Crabgrass and Coralhiss becoming mates. It wasn't necessarily expected, but maybe Wavestar missed the signs. Or maybe she's just saying that.
   Scaleblossom grows bitter, and hisses at his clanmates to quiet down. He claims that he has more rights to the clan than them, than Wavestar, who doesn't seem the least bit fased or humored by his tangents. She just tells him they can discuss it alone if he really wishes. 
   Riverstripe and Sharkdance find a young traveling healer, someone Cutiebreeze mentioned in a story, and invite her to join the clan. Algaepaw is beyond relieved, and Breezethistle can fully rest. She does need it, they know. Foambreak is sweet and helpful. The clan takes to her easily

Moon 48
   Scaleblossom doesn't feel as sore, and he gloats to his clanmates about such. When others tell him to be careful, he swats them and laughs as they flinch. Wavestar growls at him to watch himself, and tells him they need to chat. He was her apprentice once, her brother, but now she just sees an arrogant tom with a temper. She's about done with his antics.
   Fishwhisker takes a long walk alone, to clear her head, and finds a loner name Meadow padding behind. He follows her home, and he takes the name Meadowmoss.
   Sharkdance and Arielecho find an injured cat named Caakiri and take her back to the clan with very little fuss. Scaleblossom takes all the credit for finding another injured cat named Thunderdaze, and Craneclaw admits he was a bit unhelpful. But he knows some of the worst from outside, and while Wavestar asks him to stop questioning every cat he sees, she understands his hesitation.
   Scaleblossom, not accepting this small victory as just that, takes the time to say how if it was up to him they'd exile loners after their injuries healed. The clan, which Wavestar knows is heavily made up of rogues, loners, and kittypets, shrinks down under the deputy's mocking words.
   Wavestar has had enough. She doesn't yell, doesn't scratch, doesn't hiss, doesn't bite. She just summons the deputy to her den and strips him of his title. He hisses that starclan will make her regret that, and she warns him that they'll exile him if he doesn't learn to stop hissing at his safety net.

SET UP/EXPLANATION

I had to take a day to process this year I'm not joking this one got me. Currentspeckle really just peaced out and Scaleblossom decided to let being deputy go to his head???? Nothing about his personality screams "I'm gonna start a fight" but mans was determined to be an ass. Can't believe he attacked Riverstripe, like hello??? Clangen didn't want me to like this cat.
Isabellariver is a weird ass cat I adore her. She demanded to join the clan, she's vengeful, and she sees ghost. She's also got Heterochromia, she's my weird cat and I love her



Anyway I do want to say: I'm not opposed to an "evil deputy", but Scaleblossom seems determined to attack the clan. And Wavestar, after the flood, can't imagine turning away Any Loners. He just doesn't work as her deputy.
I plan to, when we have a new leader, follow their lead. It won't be Scale though. But if they're vengeful, I expect war. 

So Also: Mass extinction is here. This could be nothing, but it's possible now. I also took off "Unknown second parent" for now because I Would like some kits from the clan. They're still ignoring gender, and technically they're allowed to have affairs. Wish them luck

Welcome back to robot combat! Today's match is going to be against Sabertooth and Mammoth of Metalmash 2059. Presumably this is the year the game takes place in? I don't know, you tell me! This game is extremely light on lore.
 

"Again with the football player getup? I know I saw new armor available in the shop!"

But first, let's address the third and final component of a combat robot- the chassis.

The chassis is the main body of a combat robot. You'll never see one in the arena, since they're always covered by armor, but the chassis is the functional part underneath that makes robots tick. Here's the chassis we've been using for the first three matches:
 

"Uncool. How would you like it if I removed your skin and posted a picture of you online?"

And here's the chassis we'll be upgrading to:
 

"Who wrote this shop description? Bot Arena has an N in it. And a space, I think."

As you can see, the new chassis, while more expensive, has a higher maximum weight load. It also has a higher self weight, which is important when considering the weight of your overall team. Different arenas have different weight limits that your team must stay within, but since we only have the one robot, it's basically never going to be an issue for us. The important part is the increased capacity for armor and weapons.

"After all I did for you, you're going to throw me in the garbage?!? Just like that?!?"

"You cold-hearted, no-good, sniveling-"

"I was going to remove your memory chip and transplant it into the new chassis. You're not going anywhere."
"...Oh. That makes sense. Why didn't you tell me?"
"...I was going to, before you cut me off..."

ANYWAY, we can see from the inventory screen above that Schmoo's old chassis had a carrying capacity of 11, while her new one has a carrying capacity of 14. This is a small improvement, but it's enough for Schmoo to have some armor/weapon combinations she couldn't before, like the Overwatch and the Torrika, for instance.

With that out of the way, let's talk weapons. Mammoth only has a DT-01, so they're not too much of an issue, but Sabertooth very much is. They're wielding the Darsij A101-1, a medium-caliber machine gun with a much higher damage output than anything Schmoo has available to her. This is our first instance of the opponent robots having access to weapons that we don't.
 

"...I want ten."

Unfortunately, this weapon's firing range covers both close-range and medium-range targets. Even with the pneumatic hammer from earlier, Sabertooth would still be able to retaliate, and their machine gun does more damage anyway. We also can't exploit their maximum firing distance, since the DT-02 only has a maximum firing distance of 140 units, and 10 units is just too narrow a margin to reliably maintain. Besides, Mammoth can do the same to us with their DT-01, which has a maximum firing distance of 150 units.

So we can't win by going for melee, and we can't win by staying at range. What can we do? Well... I hate to say it, but we're going to have to cheat.

"Okay so all that stuff I said earlier? Taking it back. You are a worthless flesh sack."
"Wouldn't that be taking it forward again? You already took it back when I told you about the brain transplant."
"Shut."
 

"So it's all code... That honestly doesn't surprise me too much."
"Yeah, a human would probably have an existential crisis or something seeing this, but I imagine you're pretty much fine."

To be fair, this game was never designed to be played this way- it expects you to be using two or more robots. I feel like I can cheat a little bit, occasionally, as long as I don't do it too often. Anyway, by editing the ActionScript files of the game itself, I can edit pretty much anything about the game. Weapons, armor, even the enemy encounters! But I'm going to keep things as reasonable as possible. What I'm going to do is create a new weapon for Schmoo to use, one that allows her to win this specific matchup without being unreasonable compared to other weapons available to us. Behold, the Raptor DT-03...
 

"You just... took the DT-02 and upped some numbers."
"Literally yes."

Now obviously, I could just make this weapon deal a million damage and cover the entire arena, but that wouldn't be any fun. I've only slightly increased the maximum range, and given it 10 more damage per shot to keep it on par with other weapons at this stage in the game. It still does significantly less damage than the Darsij, and the weight increase means that Schmoo will have to go back to using the Overwatch R200 rather than using the shiny new armor we just unlocked. Rest assured I'm doing my best not to make this too easy on myself, and I promise I will only do this when absolutely necessary. I tested several different weapon/armor configurations rigorously, but Sabertooth just does too much damage for Schmoo to properly respond- even if she could take out Sabertooth in a one-on-one confrontation, she wouldn't have enough health left over to deal with Mammoth. She needs a situation where she can deal damage safely.

With all that said and done, let's watch the battle! Skip to 2:31 for the winning match.

i thought that i had more time, but Bean became an Ojitchi today. since i did want to raise something on this device, i decided i would reset it and allow him to retire.
 

but first, i had him play with some toys and got some cool Oji pics.
 

this is Gubby. her baby form was without incident, though she did jump into a sack when i pressed the c button and then fell out unceremoniously.
 

she became Mizutamatchi. the pixel sprite of this creature never resembled a water droplet to me, i always thought it was just some sort of lumpy thing when i was a kid. still very cute, though.
 

despite the big frown, this seems to be her favorite C button animation, because she does it over the others 9 times out of 10.
 

it's another chill day for Pippa. his training meter is filled now!
 

he had a cupcake from the store. i feel like it's a lot more difficult to gain points on this device than on the anniversary one. i think they might have increased the amount of points you get from the games, but it also seems like the buttons on this one are a little tougher to get to respond due to age and possibly materials, though only slightly.
 

so, agatha did evolve all the way to the teen stage this morning, however
 

my phone froze when i pulled up my camera app earlier, and i had to force it to restart. the app must have been open in the background and not closed correctly, because the save apparently failed, so i lost my progress.
 

forced to start over entirely, i just named the new baby Agatha II. luckily, it is sales day in the shops, so it was relatively easy to get the items i had back.
 

of course, agatha ii also made a park friend.
 

agatha ii has also become some sort of slime. i do enjoy this creature, so i guess losing progress isn't all bad.
 

cancri also had some enjoyable slime today.

Moon 49
- Wavestar stands before her clan, keeping it formal as she thanks Scaleblossom for him help these past few moons, and praises him for his "willingness to step down". She names Coralhiss as the next deputy, the grey cats stands by her leader proudly. Scaleblossom can't believe his own apprentice is replacing him.
- To honor Algaepaw’s cunning and determination, Breezethistle names him Algaewish
- Pearldusk is proud to announce she is expecting kits, and Divebramble surprises everyone by announcing the same thing. Neither cat is keen on laying in the nursery just yet.
- Rayshimmer, finally, decides to get up from his nest. He walks along the Wormclan border, and none of his clanmates bother him.
- An older cat, Orageno, who had caused the clan a few problems over the moons, joins the clan one day hoping for a good meal. He takes the name Smallfin and joins the elders. Some cats are a bit upset he's immediately retiring, but Coralhiss forbids them from bringing it up to Wavestar. 
- Wavestar, perhaps due to the stress of the past few moons, Wavestar begins to get ill.

Moon 50
- Basspaw becomes a fully trained mediator early, taking the name Bassdust. The clan is very happy for him, and Marshpaw celebrates, but later on she slinks off alone to wonder if she's fallen behind her brother.
- Pearldusk and Divebramble and made to join the nursery, and talk about what they're hoping form. Pearl wants a small litter, Dive wants a large one. While they are happy to have mates to help, they're also relieved to have eachother to lean on.
- Caakirimist is struggling with a broken bone, the medicine cats whisper to eachother about it. Meadowmoss worries they'll need to do something drastic.
- Brackishtide meets a kittypet while on a solo patrol, and excitedly tells him about his kits arriving soon. The kittypet, Kermit, congratulates her and follows her home. He takes the name Frogeye.

Moon 51
- Isabellariver congratulates Marshpaw before she even knows she's being made a full warrior, she says the ghosts are with her. Isabella has never once doubted her kits, and cheers loudly as she's named Marshback.
- Both queens welcome 3 kits each. Pearldusk and Sharkdance are ecstatic, they name their kits Otterkit, Beaverkit, and Rapidkit. Brackishtide and Divebramble seem overwhelmed, Brackishtide doesn't like how Faint the mews sound to her and Divebramble can't seem to soothe the worry. They name their kits Ripplekit, Hookkit, and Bluekit.
- Scaleblossom, determined to prove a point, chases a cat named Looks To The Moon away from the clan. Wavestar swats him, hisses, and asks Coralhiss to find the cat and invite them in.
- While training with some of the clan, Coralhiss admits she thinks she'll be a bad deputy. Her clan mates do not agree, and shower her with praise. 
- Riverstripe and Eelnewt find an injured cat named Stormchase and bring him to the clan. He claims to be a descendant of Shoreclan, and Wavestar quietly asks not to talk about that. He's welcomed in anyway.

Moon 52
- Coralhiss and Wavestar are very proud of Sandpaw, who is made a warrior early. Coralhiss purrs about how lucky she is to train a cat like Sandrush.
- Spongepaw avoids his sister and goes on a walk alone. They were supposed to do this together, how did she get ahead?
- Looks To The Moon is invited into the clan by Coralhiss, and follows her without a thought.
-Algaewish has tried his best to keep moving, but he wakes up one morning suffering from heat stroke. Breezethistle and Meadowmoss try their best to help him
- Fishwhisker tries not to hiss at clanmates, the kittypet might have been small but she had a dog! Wavestar wants to find Thor, but will wait a few moons for Fishwhisker's ego to feel less bruised.

Moon 53
- Spongepaw is relieved to be receiving his warrior name, now Spongeburr. He sits with his sister as the clan cheers, and they make plans for all their adventures together
- Bluekit and Rapidkit sneak out of camp to chase butterflies. Wavestar finds them and gently scolds them for worrying their families, carrying them back by their scruffs.
- Rayshimmer paces Wormclan's border one night, worrying and worrying. Out of the corner of his eye he sees movement, and here comes Emeralddrop. They purr greetings, and Rayshimmer is ecstatic to learn Emerald will join his clan. They don't mind clanmate whisper's as they face Wavestar, but she does worry about their Wormclan bond. But she welcomes the cat, but makes him change his name to Kelpdrop. 

Moon 54
- Gullfeather, takes a risk in the tidepools, and pricks his paw. Poison takes him quickly, and Wavestar finds herself looking at the body of one of her oldest friends.
- Coralhiss whispers to her father's body that she's expecting kits. Wavestar quietly congratulates her, and comforts the sobbing cat. Her father, her brother, it's just her now. Why must Starclan do this to her.
- Crabgrass tries to comfort her, but she snaps at him, and their bond feels shaken. He begs her not to push cats away, but she only wants to hear from Wavestar and Breezethistle right now.
- Some Coastalclan cats find Thor behind two leg fake ice. Thor sticks her tongue out at them while they try to communicate with her.
- Thunderdaze and Fishwhisker find an injured loner, and take her back to camp. Tunastripe is grateful to the clan, and promises to be helpful when she's feeling better.
- Cutiebreeze and Spongeburr find an injured cat swimming in a small pool of water. He joins them going back to camp, and takes the name Clamheart.
- The medicine cats ask Wavestar to maybe relax with the loners, but she won't listen.

Moon 55
- Coralhiss grieves in the nursery, with Wavestar visiting when she can. Wavestar loves seeing the kits growing, and is making sure Coralhiss still feels included in their decisions. Coralhiss can't even think about her own kits.
- Crabgrass smells like Pondclan when he visits Coral, and she hisses at him to just go there then. Wavestar tries not to make eye contact with the couple.
- Algaewish is given a large group of cats to get herbs with, considering the season. The group, however, is unhelpful. They accidentally destroy everything they touch, and ruin the catmint he needed desperately. He debates shoving them into a mud puddle, but just returns to camp muttering under his breath.
- Arielecho asks Wavestar to speak to him quietly. They won't say what they talked about, but Ariel returns to a group of clan mates with only praise for the wisdom of a leader. They would all do go following in her paws.
- Penguinmask and Colby Jacksplash find a loner named Nikki stumbling by the border, and lead him back to camp. He takes the name Snailtide, and dizzly talks about an owl making him fall from a tree.

Moon 56
- Coralhiss and Crabgrass welcome 3 kits into the clan. Coral is relieved Crab can watch the kits while she gets out of the den for a bit, and she spends a few hours hiding away from clanmates in the leaders den. 
- She comes back with names, ignoring the ones Crabgrass suggested. She must let the family legacy live on, and names them Gullkit, Squidkit, and Driftkit. Wavestar thinks this is lovely, says Gullfeather would have been so happy for her.
- A rogue named Burnjay steals prey, chases warriors, and trues to fight Algaewish. Wavestar is not going to look for this cat. Sandrush is very injured by Burnjay and ends up stuck in the medicine den.
- An odd cat finds a patrol one day, and giggles that Starclan wants him to join them. He ends up having a... discussion with Isabellariver at camp, which nearly comes to blows. They walk away agreeing they're best friends now, everyone is afraid of that.
- Wavestar, upon meeting Koipelt, figured this would be the outcome. She can handle two of them.
- Koipelt fights a rogue off alone. He didn't catch the cats name, but most assume it's Burnjay and whisper that he's a hero.
- While attempting to save a cat from two legs, Brackishtide gets a broken bone. She's been avoiding the medicine cat den, afraid Breezethistle or the others may confirm a suspicion of hers.

Moon 57
- Thor wanders into camp and says she's their problem now. She takes the name Waterrumble, and everyone wonders how this 13 moon old cat has evaded them for so long
- Frogeye is seen flirting with Burnjay, Wavestar hisses about how the outsider has injured clanmates. She has to put her paw down somewhere, don't flirt with that cat.
- Coralhiss moves past her grief finally, in time to see six kits become warriors. Wavestar greets her warmly.
- Algaewish has to sit this clan meeting out, he feels he's spending moons bouncing from illness to illness. It's green cough now, Breezethistle think he overworked himself. She grooms his fur before the meeting, incase he finds the strength to watch.
- Meadowmoss sits with Wavestar before the meeting, and asks for an apprentice. He names Rapidkit in particular, claiming she is a gift from Starclan. Rapidpaw is overjoyed, even when her first lesson is "leave Algaewish alone". She just thinks he's neat.
- Koipelt retires to the elders den, partly due to age partly due to starclan begging her to stop telling cats when they'll die.
- Clamheart find two injured cats while patrolling alone, and brings them to camp. Minnowsting is still able to work, but Barnaclefin is shuffled into a somewhat crowded medicine den.
- Following some vague instructions from Koipelt, Colby Jacksplash and Fishwhisker find two cats named Ghostwave and Mikhailfish. Ghostwave seems angry Starclan found her again, and Mikhailfish goes on and on about his healing ability.
-Arielecho and Spongeburr find a kit and bring it home. They name her Flukekit

Moon 58
- Eelnewt wins a fight with Burnjay, and still ends up in the medicine den. Wavestar talks to the other clan leaders, and asks if, maybe, this rogue should be driven away. She's told no.
- Crabgrass has had enough and snaps at Coralhiss, hissing insults at her. She growls back, nearly bites him for making a scene infront of the nursery, and only stops when Wavestar scolds the both of them. Wavestar attempts to comfort the deputy after her break up.
- Isabellariver tries to help Coralhiss this moon. She floats the idea around that maybe they'd be a good couple, but Coralhiss is not in the mood for mates right now.
- Crabgrass throws himself into work to avoid heartbreak, and ends up in the medicine den too sore to move.
- Algaewish goes to collect herbs for himself, and almost gets taken by a hawk. Cutiebreeze saves him, but is hurt. He cries about his beautiful fur, and Algaewish wonders if he really needs to be grateful.
- The medicine cats have to hold back giggles about the current apprentices, who all seem to be complaining about the salt hurting their paws. They treat them, of course, but Breezethistle doesn't remember cracked paw pads ever being such an issue.

Moon 59
- Flukepaw is given to Look To The Moon to apprentice under, who tells her they'll do great things together.
- Isabellariver attempts again to persuade Coralhiss to be her mate, and is shut down harshly. Everyone minds their pawsteps around her as she sulks in her nest.
- Wavestar stops a fox from entering the camp one night, and fights it off alone. Her tail is badly injured, but cats look up to the leader in wonder.
- Scaleblossom is bitter as his leg flares up, claiming he would have helped. Wavestar just sighs, and grooms her brothers head like she helped when he was a kit.
- The medicine cats are in agreement, and Brackishtide is incredibly upset to learn, but she's considered deaf at this point. Her hearing fades through the moon, and she wishes her broken bone would heal so she could move on from the medicine den.
- Algaewish is doing much better, and stands with the other medicine cats.
- Sharkdance and Arielecho do something stupid, they try to outsmart a two leg trap. Despite his best efforts, Sharkdance can't free Arielecho, and returns to camp alone, tail tucked between his legs. Wavestar makes him take a break as she goes searching alone, hoping to find a lost clanmate. Breezethistle knows she's thinking the worst, but Wavestar can't go off running while her tails all out of sorts.

Moon 60
- Everyone is relieved when Arielecho is found and brought back to clan. Algaewish takes time grooming him, searching for any wounds. Breezethistle just gives him a knowing look and gets catmint thrown at her from the bushy tailed tom.
- Green cough lingers, and unfortunately takes the life of Ripplepaw. The clan mourns, the kits siblings not quite knowing what this means other than they've lost someone. Wavestar wishes starclan weren't so cruel.
- Tunastripe, Snailtide, and Sharkdance find a cat named Chevresurf to join the clan. Her appearance haunts some of the clanmates, but Wavestar only smiles at the young cat.
- Meadowmoss hears a commotion, and finds a she cat struggling with bringing kits into the world. He scrambles to ease the pain and stop the bleeding, flagging down a patrol to bring help. Goodeflood and her four kits arr welcomed into the clan without any hesitation. Duckkit, Whalekit, Moonkit, and Riptidekit. Wavestar congratulates the mother on her beautiful kits.

we purchased a treasure chest from the store, and it contained some money when opened. sometimes they just have a weird snake that upsets your tamagotchi, or magic that turns them old for a few seconds and also makes them upset, so this was a nice result.

what a silly little guy.
i've also noticed the heartbeat on this device is just loud enough to be faintly heard from a couple feet away if it's quiet enough. some of my childhood devices were like this, too. it's pleasnat background noise. (for anyone unaware, some of the 2000s Connection/Connexion/Plus series devices emit a very quiet beeping sound constantly as the animation timer ticks, probably just the result of said ticking. the anniversary rerelease doesn't have this, due to the hardware being a little different.)
 

today, Agatha II wanted to eat a specific food item that can only be obtained by cooking. unfortunately, it was one of the ones i was missing exactly one ingredient for. cooking using the camera instead seems to just give you a random food item, so i tried that countless times, but i never got the right one.
 

eventually, Agatha II decided she just wanted to listen to the radio instead. i also probably will not need to purchase food for a while.
 

Agatha II had another birthday. you know, the Ura tamagotchi are meant to be "opposite" versions of their normal counterparts, and i understand this with Ura Mametchi, who is clearly a silly and goofy guy compared to the normally serious and mild-mannered Mametchi, but Ura Flowertchi and Ura Memetchi just kind of have wings, so i never really understood what was opposite about that. i guess with Flowertchi maybe it's because normally flowers grow in the ground?

THE VPET GAZETTE



modem and wire are about to head out and leave their second generation with us- lorewise, they don't actually have kids or anything, nor will these be related in their final character iterations. but, it was a bittersweet time last night as i had to explain to como how this stuff tends to shake out and the process of tamagotchi generations in the connection mechanics, and that yes, tamagotchi times on Earth are often very, very short. 



we both decided to give the process some genuine gravity and take the night to commemorate our successes together, and i finished modem and wire's plushes in order to give them a "first date night on Earth"- the plush versions will live with us in our apartment, after all, having emerged from their little spaceships and finding their forever homes. we picked out a movie (The Batman, 2022- seriously fucking good film if you've been starving for like, genuine capeshit cinema and also it's just a good movie. i don't recommend 3 hour films like this often.) and got cozy, and it felt like a fairly magical affair. 

i don't think i've ever really had the space to experience something like this before. no one i grew up with IRL truly understood the emotional weight of stuff like this for us, and even other kids ridiculed us for caring "too much" about this shit. to this day, i have never been able to purposefully give a tamagotchi a care mistake, and any i get are incidental. it comes too close to my weird animism/object sapience beliefs and i dont beat myself up for care mistakes at all, but fuck, i just can't purposefully neglect. 

i guess i'm just really happy and lucky and emotional over getting to live with and be married to someone who not only gets that but can share it with me. i'm really happy.

abyss is gonna grow up either tonight or tomorrow. the anticipation is killing me. i feel like i may have gotten some care mistakes but anything fucking goes, really. i have been looking at atlantic ocean sea creatures as well- i will need to see how it goes, but i'm kind of feeling Scalloped Ribbonfish as an inspo for abyss' design/plush...and boy, ace hooked us the FUCK up with socks for these and the new guys coming in. i am deeply excited. the two new ones on our RV3s (modem and wire's devices) will also be aquatic themed! i should ask what sea creatures como likes...



poppyseed is still on pause for a bit, but i miss her and i think i'll be good to have her around tonight again. her plush is in the works and i'm shocked at how well it's going, i built this up soooo big in my head but it's really not that bad! her plush is even JOINTED WITH A DESIGN I ENGINEERED!!! so exciting. 

confetti is still here and i kind of like the idea of just having her vibe for a while. the m!x is so good for having long term tamas, i'd be remiss not to give it a go until i feel ready to have her move on. besides, i want to get used to the device again. 

lorewise, her and poppyseed are also lesbians now. very important.

petpets have this cute little thing where you can type dialogue at them and get random dialogue within a pool for the petpet's species (and maybe color....? i'm not sure), it's not even proper chatbot shit but i always loved it as a kid. like magic 8 ball tier ridiculous but very fun for writing prompts! it looks like this might be a bit hard mode, though. enjoy your bitchy new octopus.

fishquest has been going well. i realized this is a really good game to just leave running and poking at it when needed when sewing and got a lot of progress done as a result. the Flat Fuck Fish Shape seems to be going strong, and i'm enjoying the process a lot. i especially like the sashimi look i seem to get sometimes...maybe green dogs with salmon pink body tofu chunk things (as como calls them) are the move? i'm feeling it out organically.



shoutout to Snacks, who i did not get any special screencaps of beyond what was in the last post but was a particular pain in the ass during that session. he lived a long life and was food averse and mean so he just kind of starved and screamed about it and was perpetually angry and i will remember him very well as a result. also no, i did not name him that on purpose, the RNG just decided to be a huge bitch.

Welcome back to another exciting installment of robot combat! Today's post will be a bit shorter, as there aren't any new weapons or armor appearing in this arena, but our match today is against King, Queen, and Jack of Spade's Battle Royale!
 

"Seems like someone's got a motif. I'm surprised we're not on a green velvet floor with like, roulette numbers or something."
"Do you know how expensive a velvet floor would be to maintain?"
"What, have you guys not invented bulletproof, fireproof, explosion-proof velvet yet?"

As you can see, the strategy here seems to be quantity over quality. While the weapons King, Queen, and Jack are packing aren't anything too special, the fact that there are now three of them will make it even more difficult for Schmoo to implement her usual strategy of isolating a single target. The good news is, though, we won't have to cheat for this fight! All three of our opponents are using Raptor weapons, which, as we know, have a minimum firing distance of 50 units. The Darsij, which we saw Sabertooth using last time and which is now available to us in the shop, has no such weakness. As long as Schmoo stays close, she'll be safe from retaliation.

"Yessssss, give me the machine gun..."

Of course, this won't be an easy feat, as she'll still have to maneuver around two other opponents while maintaining a very close distance to the first one, but at least there's a path to success here. This'll take us a while, so skip to 5:50 for the winning attempt. As you can see, our primary method of avoiding fire is to simply arrange the enemy team in such a way so that they block each other's bullets, and take cover behind their bodies after they've been destroyed. This reduces the amount of damage Schmoo takes from the other two robots while she pursues one, exploiting the gap in their firing distance.

- Burnjay is found by the clan, and welcomed warmly by Wavestar. The clan seems uneasy about how the loner smiles at their leader. She takes the name Burnsplash “for fun”.
- Breezethistle ends up stuck in the tide, and barely avoids drowning. She can’t seem to get the water out of her lungs, Wavestar worries about the older cat as she attempts to soothe her.
- Mikhailfish tries a few tests, but resigns himself to the fact that Penguinmask is losing his hear due to an ear injury. Burnsplash snickers from her spot in the medicine den.
- Eelnewt and Colby Jacksplash announce themselves to be mates, and the clan congratulates them.
- Sandrush floats the idea by her brother that maybe Sandrush might also be a tom? He announces it to the clan the following day, all purrs and happy cats.
- Riptidekit goes missing for several days, but returns unharmed.
- Marshback, Cutiebreeze, and Scaleblossom find a kit and take her to the clan. Marshback names her Troutkit
- A Doeclan apprentice, Jaggedpaw, approaches Coralhiss and Stormcrash and begs them to let him join the clan. Wavestar names him Brookpaw, and pretends not to know who Jaggedpaw is when Doeclan’s leader asks.

Moon 62
- Wavestar names Bluepaw Blueash, and gives him Squidpaw to apprentice. Coralhiss worries this might be too early, but Wavestar comments she wouldn’t bat an eye in a moon. 
- Rayshimmer is given Gullpaw to mentor, and Crabgrass is given his son Driftpaw. 
- Breezethistle hacks and coughs from White cough, Wavestar almost doesn’t want to leave her mother even though her tail has healed. The clan knows she’s thinking the worst, but no one knows how to help.
- Mikhailfish has to gently inform Burnsplash that she also has partial hearing loss, Burnsplash snaps that the medicine cats probably did this to punish her.
- Barnaclefin and Minnowsting finally leap into being mates, and the clan is ecstatic.
- Driftpaw, nervously, approaches his mother and leader and asks to be switched to a mediator. Coralhiss goes to hiss at Crabgrass, Wavestar gently whacks her about not “behaving like a deputy”. Driftpaw has no problems with his father as a mentor, he just… doesn’t enjoy this.
- Sharkdance gets his ear torn fighting a dog. Wavestar needs her clan to Stop Fighting Dogs.
- Minnowsting fights a rogue and gets her leg mangled.
- Burnsplash and Barnaclefin find a kit and names her Pelicankit
- Wavestar and Fishwhisker find a very injured kittypet and take him to camp. They name him Drizzleswirl for now, the medicine cats don’t want to tell the leader how bad this looks.
- Clamheart ends up getting swept up in a river. While his clan mates manage to save him, his back ends up broken.

Moon 63
- Ottepaw has a penchant for trouble, and has been Wavestar's problem for moons now. And she's tempted to hold him back from having a warrior ceremony, but he's trying. He's behaved. Wavestar sighs, and Coralhiss agrees, they have to hope this was just some kithood trouble. He's named Ottertalon.
- Beaverpaw is quiet when he's named, after Ottertalon. He's behaved perfectly, he should have been first. He is named Beaverleaf and doesn't stuck around to celebrate.
- Brookpaw is named Brookstem, and is proud to stand before the clan.
Pelicankit is named Pelicanpaw and given to Fishwhisker to apprentice under.
- Sharkdance announces she's expecting kits and is full of energy, much to the medicine cats confusion. 
- The medicine cats are up to their ears with paw injuries and runny noses.
- Rapidpaw nervously informs Kelpdrop that his dislocated joint could cause permanent damage, but the cat just thanks the apprentice and tells the apprentice they're doing great
- Moonkit falls to the ground in the middle of camp, shaking. Seizures run through the poor kit, and the medicine cats have to instruct the rest of the clan on how to handle this.

Moon 64
- Brackishtide cheers louder then any cat as Hookpaw is named Hookstream
- Sharkdance is finally forced into the nursery, and Wavestar warns her to stop making the medicine cats worry about a healthy cat when the rest of the clan can't keep their paws out of the medicine den lately.
- A cat named Pinkie is invited into the clan, and takes the name Gentleripple
- Coralhiss and Crabgrass have decided to try again. Wavestar congratulates her deputy, and they talk happily.
- Breezethistle is finally able to breathe normally.
- Bassdust and Waterrumble both have to come to terms with losing their hearing. 
- Isabellariver and Ottertalon find an apprentice named Mudpaw who joins the clan. Tunastripe and Frogeye find an apprentice named Poolpaw who also joins the clan.
- Colby Jacksplash gets his ear torn by a dog

Moon 65
- Wavestar names Flukepaw as a new warrior, Flukedawn
- Drizzleswirl does not manage to recover, Wavestar considers it her own failure and hope Starclan takes them. Breezethistle purrs whispers that the infection was there before they ever got to camp, Wavestar can't help every cat. 
- Sharkdance and Pearldusk welcome two kits. Sharkdance names them Currentkit and Drizzlekit, Wavestar greets the new clan members warmly.
- Spongeburr confesses feelings for Chevresurf, and they become mates. 
- Cutiebreeze finds an odd kit and brings her to camp, Wavestar names her Sealkit. 
- Frogeye yowls a warning to camp as a flood sweeps her away. Wavestar tries her best not to look shaken as they try to find the body the following day.

Moon 66
- Rapidpaw has shown great promise over the moons, and is given the name Rapidfern. The medicine cats from all the clans are there to celebrate.
- Duckpaw is apprenticed to Kelpdrop, Whalepaw to Gooseflood, Moonpaw to Marshback, Riptidepaw to Colby Jacksplash, Troutpaw to Waterrumble, and Sealpaw to Looks To The Moon
- Poolpaw gets to officially drop the paw and just goes by Pool. He won't acknowledge if ther is a second part to his name, and Wavestar let's him.
- Wavestar find a kittypet named Nessie and invites her to the clan.
- Clanmates are complaining, back and forth, about an increase in pranks in their nests.  Thorns, a lot of thorns, every moon. One or two someone would think a kit, but it's starting to look like a warrior with a problem. 
- Isabellariver goes missing for a few days and returns, eyes following Burnsplash carefully.
- Caakirimist, Divebramble, and Spongeburr find an injured cat and take him to the clan. He takes the name Turtlescreech.
- Riverstripe finds an excitable young cat named Captain, who joins the clan and immediately just wants to play with the kits.
- Gentleripple and Nessie find a kittypet to take to the clan, and she takes the name Toadsnarl.

Moon 67
- Riverstripe decides it's time, she must retire. Wavestar thanks her for her service, and sits outside the elders den wondering if... this is really right. Not far from her, Moonpaw watches the den with a sadness Wavestar hates to think of.
- Driftpaw is named Driftfuzz and deemed a full mediator.
- Isabellariver saves Gullpaw from a dog. She slinks away to hide in her den, certain that a cat among them had sent the dog.
- Brackishtide and Gullpaw both find themselves attacked by rats, luckily they remain mostly unharmed. Wavestar can't help but think these accidents are increasing.
- Moompaw survives a snake bite, but doesn't seem relieved. She stares at the bite, growling. 
- Penguinmask and Gullpaw fight off a group of rogues.
- Meadowmoss and Algaewish stumble upon a queen, barely hanging on for her kits. They carefully take each kit to camp, but by the time they're moving her it's too late. Reedkit, Pearlykit, and Wetkit join the clan
- Snailtide takes a chance to sneak some two leg food, and find himself trapped. He can only hope his clanmates start looking for him.
- Waterrumble and Nessie are caught in a sudden downpour, the flood taking the cats unfortunately.

Moon 68
- Gullpaw is named Gullflake, and Coralhiss her son happily.
- Arielecho and Algaewish, after dancing around it for moons, have finally become mates. Breezethistle jokes to Wavestar that she hope Arielecho will still be bringing all the medicine cats their meals "for no particular reason he swears"
- Blueash and Rapidfern have decided to become mates as well. Wavestar seems hopeful things are looking up.
- Barnaclefin finds a rogue named Antares and she follows him to camp. She takes the name Antareswaters.
- Flukedawn decides she cat doesn't fit anymore, and starts introducing himself as a tom.

Moon 69
- Moonpaw, just nine moons old, decides she'd rather not be a warrior and just becomes an elder. She takes the name Moonfluff. Wavestar, unsure about this still, offers Moon a position as a mediator if ever wanted.
- Pelicanpaw is named Pelicanshard and made a full warrior
- A rat bite takes the life of Isabellariver, something she hid from the clan for several moons.
- Looks To The Moon is on a peaceful stroll and caught and killed by a fox. The clan is on edge.
- Burnsplash lures Sandrush out on a patrol, asking for help investigating something. She shoves the other cat under a monster, and laughs when her clanmates catch her.
- Wavestar, fur bristled, stands before her clan growling. She banishes Burnsplash, trying to catch the other cat in her hasty escape. She warns the other clans of the traitor, then turns to Coralhiss and Scaleblossom. She wants Burnsplash tracked down. Chasing her out of the territories wont fix this. She wants the cat dead.
- The grief of death hits the clan hard. Gullflake, Foambreak, and Smallfin seem particularly shaken. 
- The clan is grieving, the clan is coughing, the clan is scared. 
- Toadsnarl brings a she-cat named Sunbracken back to camp. Wavestar apologizes for the somber mood and thanks her for being there.

Moon 70
- Coralhiss and Brackishtide both attempt to cheer up the clan, announcing they'll both be having kits. Wavestar smiles, but it doesn't reach her eyes.
- They don't find Burnsplash, but the clan whispers that she sent the rogue who fought Gullflake.
- Isabellariver meets Wavestar in her dreams, claiming the dark forest wants Burnsplash. Wavestar is disturbed to find several of her old clanmates call the dark forest their home, but Isabellariver just says "there's a bad cat in every clan" and moves on.

Moon 71
- Mudpaw is named Mudclaw and welcomed as a warrior.
- Drizzlepaw is given to Penguinmask to apprentice under, and Currentpaw is apprenticed to Wavestar herself. 
- Coralhiss and Brackishtide both hope for small litters. They huddle together in the nursery, needing the comfort of another cat in a scary time.
- Wavestar wakes one morning to yowling, Barnaclefin being found dead after eating tainted prey. She hisses at her warriors not to keep blaming Burnsplash, but tells Scaleblossom to increase pressure on rogues they think are hiding her.
- Burnsplash is spotted but escapes without anyone even getting to raise a paw
- Thunderdaze and Divebramble find an injured cat and take him to the clan. Wavestar is hesitant, considering, but welcomes him and names him Blizzardrapid. Breezethistle only gives him a moon anyway, which makes Wavestar feel ill.
- Wavestar sits with Breezethistle, hoping for this unease to be over soon.

Moon 72
- Coastalclan finally manages to find her. Perhaps the group all teaming up against one cat is overkill, but Wavestar has given orders and they are to be followed. While many in the clan celebrate, Wavestar remains shaken by having to do this. There's blood on her paws now, is she really better then Burnsplash?
- Whaleflit and Troutleaf are made full warriors, the crowd cheers.
- Crabgrass and Coralhiss welcome three kits, Frogkit, Toadkit, and Paddlekit.
- Brackishtide feels overwhelmed by her four new kits, and is happy to have Divebramble's help. They're named Marinekit, Barnaclekit, Heronkit, and Streamkit.
- Redcough takes Blizzardrapid, and Wavestar grieves a cat she barely knew.
- Breezethistle and Tunastripe announce they've become mates, and Wavestar is excited for her mother. She hopes Tunastripe if good to her.
- Wavestar grows increasingly distraught as a flash flood takes two young warriors, Whaleflit and Squidraven. Within a day of this Eelnewt is trapped by a gang of rogues and killed. Her clan can't seem to catch a break.

Welcome back to the Bot Arena! Today's match is against Chaos, Beauty, and Splendour at the Gaiacorp Promotion. We'll also be performing another chassis upgrade, as there's a new one available in the shop.
 

"Wow. What a team setup. Did Spade copy Gaia's homework or something?"
"Might be the other way around. But yeah, it looks like it."

The new chassis we'll be upgrading to is the Khacor Smartmove, our first heavy chassis. Like the one before it, this one comes with an improved carrying capacity as well as weighing more on its own. Don't worry, though, we're still nowhere near the weight limit for any of these battles, and we won't even get close with only a single robot.

"You mean the red lights are a positive development or the steel frame is literally shaped like a plus?"
"Yes."

As Schmoo mentioned earlier, the Gaiacorp team is pretty much identical to Spade's team, the only difference being the weapon distribution and the improved armor. This means our strategy will be basically identical to last time- isolate and pursue a single target while avoiding the others, and exploit the 50 unit minimum firing distance shared by all Raptor-class weapons. Simple enough. This match only took two attempts in total, but if you want to skip to the winning one, go to 0:55.

Don't worry, though, the next match will be significantly more difficult.

We tend to the garden. Every harvested plot grants 6-8 of the crop, from what I've noticed. Very useful for cooking. We receive buffs from the backyard animals. Zaneta the black cat increases the amount of time the crops are hydrated, Marijo the gray dog makes plants grow faster, and Sunshine the green alien increases the amount of harvests.
 
We cook MORE.
 
We visit the doctor. Sherlodius is sick. We craft some medicine and they consume one.

Sherlodius comes to agree with Sherlinetchi. We summon the remodeler again.

Jakii brings Death a gift. It's a flower! Wow, a nice present for once.

They finally evolve into their adult forms! I heard the first sounds and immediately started scrambling to find them. Babe was very worried for a second. My Young Mametchi evolved into Furawatchi, and his Nikatchi evolved into Mimiyoritchi. Death's favorite food is now apple pie, and she hates BBQ. Jakii now likes melon and hates sausage.

Death and Jakii are vibing with their new idle animations.

Death seems to be kissing hearts that pop. But it's not a distressing experience. Alright, cool.

Moon 73
- Wavestar makes Duckbramble, Riptidestem, and Sealeye warriors. Cats whisper that Sealeyes strange appearing marks mean she's destined to betray them, but Wavestar growls that one bad rogue shouldn't make them wary of kits they watched grow.
- Reedpaw, Wetpaw, and Pearlypaw are made apprentices, given to Egretfreckle, Mudclaw, and Arielecho respectively. Wavestar does not believe Pearly's disability should stop him from being a warrior if he wishes to, and Arielecho is a trusted warrior.
- The death of Whaleflit, Squidraven, and Eelnewt hangs heavy in the clan. Wavestar can't meet her warriors eyes.
- Brackishtide, Heronkit, Riptidestem, and Crabgrass are heavily effected, and the clan is careful around them.
- Colby Jacksplash is harsh when rejecting Stormcrash, but the cats all seem to agree this will likely continue to be a problem. 
- Chevresurf and Spongeburr have a very public break up, Wavestar is very wary of couples this moon she's decided.
- Two kittypets are found this moon injured and brought back to the clan. They're named Shelleagle and Faunadrip. 
- The medicine cats do not have high hopes for Shelleagle, abd Wavestar just nods in response and asks them to try.

Moon 74
- Shelleagle does not survive her brokenback, Wavestar holds a passing ceremony anyway. Coralhiss whispers that maybe they should just focus on the clan for a bit, but Wavestar won't meet her eyes.
- Koipelt is attacked by a horde of bees and yowls at the cats around for not stopping this before it happened
- Scaleblossom recovers from a fight with rats... only to get in a fight with rats at the fresh prey pile. Wavestar desperately wishes they could rid the camp of rats.
- Barnaclekit seems weak, the medicine cats won't meet the parents eyes as they realize this. Wavestar quietly explains later that the kit will likely not make it to adulthood, apologizing to the angry growls from Divebramble and Brackishtide.
- Spongeburr and Chevresurf become mates again
- Stormcrash tries again with Colby Jacksplash, and just grumbles when anyone else asks what happened
- Wavestar and Captain find a kittypet climbing trees, and he joins them on their patrol. He takes the name Softbubble and Wavestar seems happy

Moon 75
- Drizzlepaw and Currentpaw, at only 10 moons, are both surprised to be getting warriors ceremonies. But Wavestar says they're advanced, and names them Drizzlesnarl and Currentbreak.
- Coralhiss wonders if, maybe, it's Too Early, but Wavestar won't hear it. They need more warriors. Coralhiss does not like that reasoning.
- Toadsnarl joins the elders den, immediately relaxing among her clanmates.
- With terrifying coordination, a gang of rogues catches a patrol off gaurd. The cats barely manage to escape, Craneclaw and Foambreak slipping behind and ending up dead. 
- Wavestar reminds herself to hold it together, and thinks that, maybe, after they find Snailtide, the might need to start chasing rogues off.

Moon 76
- Brackishtide can't tell them, but staring at her body Wavestar has to wonder what beast took her life. This has to be just a bad start to the moom
- A fire breaks out in camp after a thunder storm. Cats scatter, grabbing kits and apprentices and rushing them. Coralhiss ends up stuck in the fire, with Egretfreckle and Gullflake, Wavestar desperately trying to reach them as the flames grow larger. She retreats when she knows she can't, the clan hiding at Doeclan till the flames die out
- 5 cats dead, 5 vigils, Wavestar can't face her clan, but she must. Starclan says she must. Algaewish, Barnaclekit, Ottertalon, and Riptidestem seem particularly affected.
- Wavestar approaches Crabgrass, who remains grief stricken, and asks him to take over as deputy. Coralhiss would have agreed. He is trying not to be angry with Wave, she didn't start the fire, and accepts quietly. The clan cheers for him, and he feels hollow.
- Doeclan was a wonderful host for the few days it took them to get back into camp, and Wavestar makes sure to thank them at the gathering.
- Ottertalon brings a kittypet to camp, she takes the name Puddleheart. Wavestar tries to be warm and welcoming, and Puddle thanks her but admits Ottertalon filled her in on recent... struggles
- Koipelt realizes Tom isn't the right label, and starts telling people they're nonbinary
- Pool hears odd noises from an abandoned two leg nest and investigates alone. He stumbles upon Droplet, a loner singing her heart out. He sits and watches for a while before returning home.

Moon 77
- Pool brings 5 kits back to camp, but won't talk about their mother. Wavestar wants to scold him, her worry at an all time high, but she always folds when looking at kits. Abalonekit, Oysterkit, Brinekit, Shrimpkit, and finkit.
- Heronkit learns an important lesson about sticking her paw in strange holes, you never know what's hiding in them. It was a snake.
- Troutleaf goes to Doeclan's border, hoping she'll see a certain cat. Unfortunately they're accompanied by someone else, and she is sent back to her camp with a good amount of scratches. 
- Pelicanshard finds an injured loner named Swanfleck and brings her to camp.

Moon 78
- Sharkdance, deciding he's getting too old for fighting, becomes a mediator. Pearldusk lovingly refers to it as his midlife crisis, and the other mediators are less than pleased to have a couple in their midst.
- Wavestar honors Pearlypaw for overcoming his struggles, honors him for his intelligence, and names him Pearlyswirl. He slinks off to avoid celebrating, perhaps feeling like the clan still won't take him seriously. 
- Crabgrass smiles as his kits are made apprentices. He knows they're all missing their mother, but Coralhiss is surely smiling at them from Starclan. 
- Frogpaw to Penguinmask, Toadkit to Ghostwave, Paddlepaw to Flukedawn, Marinepaw to Bassdust for mediator training, Barnaclepaw to Hookstream, Heronpaw to Duckbramble, and Streampaw to Tunastripe. Wavestar felt dizzy.
- Pool's maybe let his kits explore too much, he realizes, as Shrimpkit is poisoned by a sea creature and he sits as she dies. Wavestar sits with him and purrs, trying to soothe her clanmate.
- A kittypet wanders into camp, and asks to join. He takes the name Dovedrift

Moon 79
- Reedpaw and Wetpaw are given their full names, Reedfur and Wetfleck.
- Breezethistle shrieks when  burrow collapses, yelling that she's sure she's sure she's sure Penguinmask is in there. Wavestar helps recover him, she's a bit taken aback by her mother's grief but accepts that maybe she hasn't been paying attention to the clanmates, and more the clan as a whole lately.
- Crabgrass gets his paw stuck in a two leg trap and heavily damaged. 

Moon 80
- Snailtide finds a patrol searching for a lost clanmate, and joins to search. As the group returns, assuming the worst, Wavestar has to inform Snailtide that they were looking for him. He's back!
- Rapidfern has to tell Swanfleck she will likely always have weakness in her leg.
- Conchroar and Leaklily are brought into camp by separate patrols.
- Wavestar doesn't know how a large group of clan mates lost a cat to Two Legs, but now they have to look for Arielecho. She hisses that they just git Snailtide back!

Moon 81
- Moonfluff makes, maybe, a joke, and is coldly rejected by Mudclaw. 
- However, Troutleaf and Moonfluff do end up becoming mates this moon
- Currentbreak and Pelicanshard decide to become mates.
- The medicine cat den if full of hurt paws this moon

Moon 82
- Romance was never gonna last, Currentbreak and Pelicanshard break up.
- Currentbreak loses their life to green cough. This deep effects he'd parents.
- Barnaclepaw grows worse day by day until a complication finally gets them.
- Swanfleck brings a single kitten back to camp but won't talk about it, but clanmates whisper about Rueclan. Wavestar greets Ribbitkit warmly.
- Crabgrass's leg finally heals, but Meadowmoss seems certain it will be permanently twisted. He's finally able to properly assist Wavestar.
- Meadowmoss spots the seizure before it starts, and Moonfluff is guided to her nest to be somewhere more comfortable when she wakes.
- Floods take multiple cats this moon. Brookstem and Pelicanshard on one patrol, and Divebramble on another. Wavestar yowls while watching Divebramble be carried away, the clan seeing her shaken in a way they haven't before. 
- Breezethistle hisses at cats that crowd the leader and yell, instructing Wavestar on how to catch her breath. Wavestar is shaky as she tells her mother about Divebramble, and Breezethistle has a hard time accepting what she's being told.
- Duckdawn, a former kittypet, joins the clan.

Moon 83
- Green cough takes Toadsnarl's life

- Caakirimist announces she's expecting kits. The clan tries to be excited, but spirits are down.
- Riptidestem thinks his litter will be small
- The poison takes Chevresurf's life
- Wavestar, Crabgrass, and even Breezethistle are down. Meadowmoss is currently acting leader and he is not enjoying this. The other clans can't help but just keep ask for herbs, and Wavestar is trying to lead but Meadowmoss wants her to rest.
- Wavestar sobs pathetically when Turtlescreech returns from a patrol alone, and Meadowmoss must tell the leader that a flash flood has taken Marshback

What a fun time Wavestar is having


We went up 1 cat as far as numbers are concerned.
I am so mad about Areilecho being missing. Give me my boy and his rainbow leather collar back.
And losing Coralhiss, Divebramble, and Brackishtide! 
Admittedly part of my worry is that Breezethistle is 117 moons. She's probably not gonna be around much longer, and... a lot of her early kits are dead. I don't know. Wavestar hasn't had any kits, I'm very sad that I'll lose it all suddenly. 

Speaking of Wavestar. 

I have been trying to get Wavestar and Rayshimmer to be mates since he joined the clan basically. And then he had Currentspeckle, and then after she died, he invited Kelp from another clan. And Kelp is adorable, I can't explain why I like him but I do.
So Wave, Ray, and Kelp are all in love and I'm trying to let that happen naturally but... I might force it. I can just pick them to be mates, but I was trying to let the digital cats digital. 
Also, admittedly, If the poison doesn't take a life I'm making it take one. I think this need to have a consequence. And she still has 9 stars, I'm very tired of leaders seemingly losing all their lives from old age (I play this game too much)

ALSO I forgot to mention, the begining of this moon I turned "unkown parent" Back on, I was hoping it would cause drama. I apparently didn't need to do that.

Moon 85
- Riptidestem won't look at her kits, seeming unattached. Wavestar attempts to ask her to care, ask her to pay attention, but she growls and snaps and says Wavestar doesn't get it. And she backs down, not wanting to stress the mother. The medicine cats name the kits. Lakekit, Mistykit, and Whalekit.
- Caakirimist is hoping for a big litter. 
- Two legs raid the camp. Crabgrass attempts to grab kits and ends up getting taken, Wavestar can't help but think Riptidestem is at fault for not protecting her own kits.
- Two legs take Abalonepaw, Oysterpaw, Greenflood, Pool, Lakekit, Crabgrass, Cutiebreeze, Stormcrash, Clamheart, and Airripple. The clan looks to Wavestar, hoping she has a solution, hoping she can find them. She's going to try.
- Poison starts to heal from the clan, but it's solemn. It doesn't feel... good. 
- Stress gets to Wavestar, in her sleep one night she feels something snap. She's sure of it, the Dark Forest has taken a life. She's being punished she thinks. Breezethistle struggles to soothe the worry.
- Wavestar choses Colby Jacksplash to take over as Deputy. The clan likes him, and he's not related to her, so maybe they'll be kind. He's honored.
- Frogpaw and Streampaw are named Frogluarel and Streamfur
- Ottertalon and Algaewish announce they are mates. While cats are happy, a few whisper that Algae has given up on Arielecho being found.
- Colby Jacksplash's first patrol as deputy goes bad, and Faunadrip gets her pelt torn by rogues.
- Hookstream and Streamfur bring in a loner named Egret.

Moon 86
- Wavestar defends the camp with her life, fighting a viscous rogue. She loses a life but wins the fight, and cats are reminded why starclan chose her to lead
- Pearldusk is expecting kits! She's immediately moved to the nursery despite protesting, but Wavestar really needs some to Not fight her right now
- Caakirimist has a litter of 4 kits, and looks at them with so much love. Riptidestem still remains indifferent to hers. Swankit, Eelkit, Finkit, and Deepkit.
- Conchroar is swept away in a flood.
- Snailtide gets head damage in a downpour
- New warriors are always good, Wavestar thinks. Toadslip, Paddlepath, and Heronclaw. Their mentors are so proud, but Heronclaw can only hope his parents are watching from starclan
- Pearlyswirl keeps pushing himself too hard, and his joints are always sore it seems. Breezethistle makes him lay down, but he growls about it being unfair under his breath.
- Ghostwave carries an injured loner to camp, she takes the name Scalechase.
- Puddleheart and Hookstream find an injured kittypet and take her back to camp. She takes the name Cavesplash.
- Wavestar vaguely asks the medicine cats about their chances, and the cats seem optimistic. She nods and heads back to her den, no one is entirely sure what to make of it.

Moon 87
- Pearldusk hopes for a big litter!
- Thunderdaze has been avoiding retirement for moons, but Wavestar has to put her paw down eventually. It's time.
- None of the missing cats have been located yet, and Wavestar seems so tired. She spends time with two close friends of hers, Rayshimmer and Kelpdrop, and it's the first time the clan has seen her laugh in moons.
- One of the kits comments about Wavestar's fur looking gray, cause she's old. Wavestar handles it gracefully, but sulks by her mother in the medicine den. She can't help but look at Breezethistle and see how grey she looks now, compared to when the clan started.
- Gooseflood, Hookstream, and Duckbramble find some two legs attempting to drown a cat in a bag and manage to save the cat. He's brought home and takes the name Sirensong
-Flashfloods manage to grab Newttangle and Streamfur on separate days

Moon 88
- Pearldusk and Sharkdance welcome two kits into the world, Divekit and Barnaclekit. Wavestar smiles, but hearing a kit honored for Divebramble hurts in a way she can't describe.
- Finpaw is named Finswirk, Brinepaw is named Brinestripe. Brinestripe is promptly given Ribbitpaw to mentor, despite the clan being wary of this.
- Wavestar asks Colby Jacksplash to stop visiting Malik, the kittypet, over the border. She wouldn’t mind as much if it wasn't every moon he was getting caught, the other clans are talking. Colby Jacksplash playfully asks if she's jealous, and doesn't seem to react much to her less than enthusiastic reaction. 
- Swanfleck is not having a good time with her weak leg. And worse she now has constant joint pain

Moon 89
- Rapidfern is expecting kits
- Divedrift peacefully retires to the elders den
- Cavesplash brings home a kittypet named Panda. She wants a new name completely, and Wavestar names her Cranewing. She vaguely complains about being named after a different animal, but Wavestar doesn't know what a panda is.
- Rayshimmer and his group find a loner named Dewmoon and take him home
- Rayshimmer is incredibly embarrassed when Dewmoon informs Wavestar how much he was complimenting her leadership skills and "silky fur"
- Kelpdrop laughs and agrees with his mate, winking at the leader, who poofs up a bit and hides with her mother in the medicine den.

Moon 90
- Smallfin decides to wander off alone. He's found dead later, looking peaceful, and while the clan mourns they're happy it was seemingly an easy death.
- Rapidfern hopes for a small litter. Breezethistle thinks it will be, and warns her to take it easy even though she's not feeling nearly as "advanced as some queens".
- Snailtide is slowing down, ans joins the elders. Wavestar visits the older cats a few times this moon, making sure the cats are fed and their beds are fresh
- Colby Jacksplash is caught talking to the loner, Splash. Wavestar asks why he has to keep talking to loners, Colby just shrugs
- Moonfluff, and elder by title but considerably a young cat, has taken to chasing loners off the territory. Breezethistle just asks her to mind any seizure triggers, and Moonfluff hisses that she always does.
- Reedfur doesn't return from a solo patrol. A kittypet reports thinking they saw two legs taking a cat somewhere that looked like that. The clan assumes the worst, that Reedfur is lost. 
- Wavestar is a little bitter towards Colby Jacksplash. He's fine, she supposes, but he won't listen. Gullfeather could have found their missing cats, she thinks bitterly. Or Coralhiss, or Crabgrass. Scaleblossom would have at least chased rogues off and not been constantly flirting.
- She misses Coralhiss, she was the best deputy. They worked well together. And Crabgrass always tried his best, she wishes he was still in the clan. The clan feels so small while also being way too big.
- Kelpdrop and Rayshimmer approach one evening, after dancing around it for moons. The three decide to all be mates.

Moom 91
- While on a walk with her mate, Rapidfern has her single kitten. She returns saying Ripplekit's birth was easy, Blueash looks traumatized, and Breezethistle debates hitting them both for not listening to her ever.
- Moonfluff was certain she'd leave Troutleaf without a mate one day, certain she'd get unreasonably sick and Troutleaf would move on from her. Instead she looks at her mate, he love, slowly fading till she's got no fight left from Green cough. No one can comfort her, she's numb.
- Tunastripe wishes to retire. She can now spend her free time visiting the medicine den, flirting with her mate Breezethistle. 
- Apprentices always make Wavestar feel excited to see the clan grow. Mistypaw is given to Duckbramble, and Whalepaw is given to Captain.
- Riverstripe wakes up to various things stacked on her, with kitten giggles in the distance as things fall around her.
- Drizzlesnarl and Riptidestem become mates. Her apprenticed kits try to congratulate her, but she won't look at them.
- Wavestar goes training alone, trying to work through her worries. She has to remind herself that no clan leader is perfect
- A horde of rogues attacks a patrol, and while the clan mostly wins Gentleripple is left with a broken jaw.
- Duckdawn and Cavesplash discover a can and bring him home. He's given the name Sandkit

Moon 92
- Swanpaw to Scalechase, Eelpaw to Drizzlesnarl, Finpaw to Spongeburr, Deeppaw to Turtlescreech. Wavestar smiles at the apprentices, but seems lost in thought. Lakekit would have been an apprentice last moon. Abalonepaw, Oysterpaw... would they be warriors? Are they... okay? But she keeps up the happy appearance and keeps going.
- Puddleheart and Softbubble find an injured kittypet to join the clan. He takes the name Flamingoswirl
- Blueash gets a torn ear from a dog Malik sends his way. Colby Jacksplash doesn't meet Wavestar's eye when she hisses that maybe the need to chase that rogue off already.

Moon 93
-Malik mocks the clan from inside his twoleg den. Wavestar will go back to finding her missing clanmates, but he's reached s limit for tolerance
- Captain and Leaklily announce to the clan they have become mates, and Wavestar congratulates them sincerely
- Gooseflood, Deeppaw, Mistypaw, and Beaverleaf find a young loner to join the clan, his name is Ottercrash
- A Doeclan apprentice named Gigabytepaw joins the clan, and she takes the name Gillpaw. Again, Wavestar pretends this is an entirely different cat, much to the annoyance of Doeclan's leader.
- Fishwhisker and Finswirl find a kittypet to join the clan named Brookmimic.

Moon 94
- Wavestar is seen loitering at the border of Doeclan, looking for a specific cat. She won't say why besides "leader business"
- Pool is located, finally, someone! She's brought back to clan, and only a day later Greenflood strolls in. Wavestar is overjoyed, moons of worry lifting off her shoulders. This has to be a good sign
- Ribbitpaw is named Ribbitmeadow, honored for her cunning. 
- Divepaw is given to Pool to apprentice under, and asks her quietly if she's sure she's not too "kittypet now". They go back and forth, and Wavestar thinks this... maybe isn't a good plan for Divepaw. She's redirected to medicine cat apprentice, under Breezethistle. Maybe Breezethistle's last apprentice, but that thought hurts Wave. Divepaw naturally is interested in Starclan, so this works for her.
- Barnaclepaw is given to Caakirimist, and sandpaw is given to Duckdawn.
- Sealeyes and Pearlyswirl have been very close for a long time, Wavestar is very happy to see them become mates.
- A patrol finds an injured loner, who looks ready to fight till the end. She hesitantly joins the clan and takes the name Onyxpool.
- Rayshimmer and Cavesplash find a tom with young kits to take to camp. He takes the name Bubblingberry and brings Cranekit, Mudkit, and Toadkit.
- Fuanadrip and the new loner, Onyxpool, are placed together. Both suffering from mangled tails. Breezethistle holds her apprentice with her tail, knowing she might be learning an important lesson about their job soon. No every cat can be saved 

Moon 95
- Fuanadrip and Onyxpool both pass from mangled tails. 
- Sirensong goes on a walk alone, and is found dead. There's a peaceful expression on his face.
- So much death is bound to take its toll. Drizzlesnarl, Swanpaw, and Whalepaw all seem particularly affected.
- Gillpaw is named Gillgorse, and just seems tired of the whole ceremony.
- Tears are she'd when the clan finds Abalonepaw, now a full grown cat with so many stories to tell. Pool cries watching at least one of her kits be named a warrior, Abalonelilac, but notes that her siblings cheer just as loudly.
- Ghostwave admits, quietly, to Wavestar that there's a loner walking around named Morelpad. They're mates and if she could find him... she promises to try, but... they're missing clanmates as well.
- Pool and Duckbramble bring back an orange tom named Fishsun

Moon 96
- Mudclaw is attacked by a fox and killed. Crankit dies from a claw wound. Leaklily announced she's expecting kits. Wait that one's good.
- Wavestar is now 100 moons. She wishes she had kits, her mates are on the edge of retirement, and when she's gone she's worried the clan will forget her.
- Finpaw is named Finshadow.
- Sharkdance stares into the distance, longing for something... more. She then fights a horde of rats. That's not really what she had in mind but... the clan has always been there for her.
- Scalechase has gained a permanent limp. Breezethistle doesn't know a nicer way to say this.
- A trained medicine cat joins the clan, his name is Fishbounce. 
- Scaleblossom and Cranewing find an injured loner named Carpspeckle
