GARDEN

A bit less dessicated than the front lawn, the garden is full of overgrown plants as tall as you. A sickly-sweet chemical smell, kind of like old antifreeze, permeates between various clusters of shrubs and wilted flowers. Despite the abundance of plant life, the garden is dead quiet, lacking any kind of movement or noise from the wind or chittering insects. You can just make out what you think is an old well in the center of the garden. The only way you can see out of here is to the East, from where you came.

The old well in the center of the garden appears at first glance to be a loose pile of stones in the shape of a circle, considering all of the grass growing in between the stones and their misshapen roundness. You can see a collapsed wooden beam on one side where presumably some kind of pulley mechanism one hung. The top of the well is currently covered by some wooden planks.

FRONT LAWN

The house is barricaded from this side, and prevents entry.

You glance at the forest surrounding the clearing. It is far too thick and obscured in darkness for you to find your way back.

You cannot go East.

The well is uncovered, revealing a ladder leading downwards. You cannot see the bottom.

You climb down the ladder, into

STONE FOYER

You arrive in what appears to be a crumbling foyer, with stone walls and floor. Whatever furniture was once here has crumbled into a rotting mess. Despite no apparent light source, you can clearly see two pathways out of here. There is a door to the West, and a doorway to the East.

You do not have the tools necessary to dig through the stone floor.

DECREPIT HALL

You arrive in what appears to be a hallway connecting two different rooms. You can faintly make out different stone carvings of various animals lining the walls. Ahead of you is a large stone pedestal, on which sits a carving of a deer's head. Below the deer's head is an inscription. The exit North has collapsed and is nothing but rubble. You can see an exit West into a foyer.

It appears to be a very worn stone carving of a deer's head. The right antlers have broken off. Its mouth is just slightly open, and you can see a piece of cloth hanging from it.

You can just make out the inscription on the pedestal below the carving. It reads:

      Below my creatures seek,
      The One who c░▚▛▓

       hey
       if your actually real
       this will help:
       i packed you a big lunch
       ; )
      
      ▒▛▓▗&hose who come home again.
