The cats try on their new clothes without hesitation. Alto gives the room a quick lap after pulling on her boots, remarking that these seem really pretty great to move around in. Good job! Tenor's movements are more subtle but you notice them running their paws appreciatively over the soft fabric of their skirt and tugging gently on the pompoms attached to the strings of their hoodie. They thank you very sincerely for the gifts.



You turn your attention back to the godspace just in time to see your middle sticky note fade away. It appears that your reminders will automatically disappear upon being rendered obsolete. How handy!

You ask Alto if she'd like some cool new gear and some cool new tricks to go with it. She seems intrigued, so you explain the concept of a skateboard to her. Fully enthused now, she gives you permission to make it but says she'd rather learn how to use it on her own. Not just to avoid being TAUGHT, but also because she thinks it might be more fun that way. She'll let you know if she changes her mind about that though.

CREATE: Skateboard

Alto immediately goes to hop on the board but Tenor stops her, firmly but not unkindly telling her she should probably wear a helmet for this too. Now properly equipped, Alto positions herself on the skateboard, testing out which configuration of legs on/off the skateboard works best.



Everything seems sorted on the TCPs' front, what will you do now?

Limestone! Moll mentioned that she thought we'd get along with them well, and that they're a collective too, maybe we could ask them questions along that front?

After that... Veil, I guess? I'm not entirely sure whether ??? is the last person's actual name or if they're hiding their name somehow. Either way, let's maybe hold off on talking to them for now.

LIMESTONE: Oh hey, who's this? No one's told me about you before, at least I don't think... No, definitely haven't seen or heard of you before. What's your deal?

We're new! Like, really new. As in, this is our first game. We ran into someone called Moll and they said you were nice, so we figured we'd give you a call!

we're in same boat as you. we're a collective. And we have no idea what we're doing. Moll figured we'd get along, so she said we should talk.

OH! are you a shapeshifter? or is it just your head? still, you'd do great at celebrity impressions. HI, hello, We're - *Audible sound of papers rustling* Sombrous. How's it hanging?

SOMBROUS: Hi, hello, we're Sombrous and we're a collective like you! I'm also new, like really new. This is my first game.
SOMBROUS: Also, is that my face you're wearing? Did you take it from me?

 

You pat your face to make sure it's still there and are relieved to find it is. Limestone snorts incredulously. They regain their composure quickly, though they still look like they're trying their best not to laugh.

LIMESTONE: Ha, yeah I've got a mirror motif... Plus illusion as a domain? Does some pretty cool shit, I basically mimic whoever I'm talking to automatically.
LIMESTONE: Gets some good reactions... Like that one.

SOMBROUS: You could do great celebrity impressions with that!

LIMESTONE: Um, yeah. Okay, sure. Guess so.
LIMESTONE: ...
LIMESTONE: Soooooo what are you calling for? Having trouble already and need something from me?

 

They say this with a bit of a smirk.

SOMBROUS: Oh no, nothing like that! I don't think so anyway?
SOMBROUS: We aren't really sure what we're doing yet but someone named Moll said you were nice and that we'd get along so I thought we'd give you a call.

 

Limestone seems genuinely caught off guard for moment.

LIMESTONE: ...Huh. Well... That's cool. Good to know, I guess. Thank you.
LIMESTONE: Anyway, sure you can hang out. You seem fun enough. What are you thinking of your very first game of TCP so far?
