Bawdry’s Plushie Pond (Free TCPs!)

Rules:
Pick any of the ducks and the pond, and you’ll receive a free TCP! There’s no possibility of not getting one, the game of chance here is seeing which one you’ll get! 
Simply comment which duck you’d like from the list (you can also roleplay as a character picking a duck if you’d like), and I’ll DM you the picture, name, and blurb for the TCP that goes with the duck. 
If you don’t like the TCP you get from the first duck you pick, or you just want to try your luck, you can choose to forfeit your first TCP and pick another duck -however, whatever TCP you get from the second duck you pick will be the TCP you get.
Feel free to change, trade, or gift the TCPs you get (or even put one in the Mystery Trade Box, if you’d like to try your luck further), they’re completely and utterly yours.


TL;DR:  I will DM you the tcp for each duck you pick. You get up to 2 tries, but only 1 TCP. (I will allow 2 TCPs for the same account in the case of system members, but unfortunately I don’t have enough TCPs to offer more than that, sorry!)

If you have any poker chips from one of the festival’s games you can turn them in for little advantages picking ducks!


1 chip will get you: The name and TCP type behind a duck of your choosing will be revealed to you, without using one of your two picks.


2 chips: A headshot and the theme of the TCP behind a duck of your choosing will be revealed to you, without using one of your two picks.


3 chips: The entire TCP picture and blurb of the TCP behind a duck of your choosing will be revealed to you, without using one of your two picks.

You see a sock type (with a… red and black halo around her neck? Odd.) filing her mitts and leaning back in a folding chair, next to a black garbage bag full of...something, and a kiddie pool full of tiny rubber ducks.  The ducks each have a different card suit on their forehead, and the pool itself has a sign that says “Bawdry’s Plushie Pond - Two duck picks per person, One plush per person.” You don’t think she’s noticed you yet.

Happen Stance trails through the festival and the duck game catches their eye. Happy looks the sock-type up and down. "So, I get a plush if I pick these ducks? For free?"

Bawdry jumps at the question, dropping the file and immediately standing up. She eyes Happenstance up and down, but energetically nods.
"Yep! Completely free, no strings attached! You DO, however..." she adds, grabbing a pamphlet seemingly out of nowhere, "Get a pamphlet to go with it! Lucky you!"
It's..an ad. For a casino.
"IfIseeyouthrowthatoutinsidethefestivalyoudon'tgetaplush." She mutters very quickly underneath her breath, before pointing to the pool as if nothing happened.
"So go ahead and pick!"

Happy takes the pamphlet, shoving it into a pocket. They look at the pond for a moment before pulling a black diamond duck out of the water. They present it to Bawdry.

"My selection, cat."

She almost smiles, if she had a mouth, and pulls a plush out of the bag. (I'll PM it to you.) "Want to pick again, or is this your final choice? If you decide to pick again, you forfeit this plush. So, what'll it be?"

Happy takes the plush in their hand. Looking at it closely. "Cute. I'll take it."

Stuffie watches from afar, tugging their earnubs relentlessly in both mits, but seems to take heart at the sight of the plushie the stranger receives. Hesitantly, they walk up to the stall. "H-hello... I'm St-Stuffie... H-how does th-this work?" They seem to be quite insecure, as they release their earnubs to wring their mits instead.

"It's always good to make a good first impression, and what's a better first impression than looking as classy as you can? Well, that's what Fancy thought, when they refolded themself and colored their skin with permanent TCP dye (a fancier term for a sharpie) but now they're starting to to wonder if it was a mistake. It couldn't be, right?"

Bawdry turns their attention to Stuffie, inspecting them for a moment, then nodding. " Oh! The rules are, you choose a duck, you get a plush. You can choose up to two times, but you only get the plush of your last pick." She hands Stuffie a pamphlet. "Would you like to try?"

Pineabble, a fluffy beatfox, saunters up in a way that they prayed came off as casual. ..It didn't, and just kind of looked pretty silly; they cast a glance side to side for a second, then grins quite brightly.

"I would like to choose a duck !" They state, somewhat loudly, whilst rocking in place on their heels. They begin to lightly flap their hands with glee, clearly very excited about all the going-ons !

Lacie shifts on her heels, somewhat impatient -- brings his hand to where a non-TCP's mouth would be to give the appearance of nibbling them, and lightly raises her right hand in the air, flagging his place in line rather than simply as an observer.

A by now probably familiar OBJ/ruffneck hybrid walks up the booth, carrying a silver bastard type in their arms which appears to be watching the scenery around them, and smiles a bit. "Hello! I'd... really like a TCP plush." Floof seems a bit exhausted and speaks fairly quietly, but they start to wag their tail at the thought of a new plush. They look over at the rules and read through them quickly, before staring at the duck pond. "How about... the black spade duck?"

As the line of players materializes behind them, Stuffie seems to panic a bit and blurts out, "Uh, that one!" They point at the red diamond duck. "P-please..." They add sheepishly.

"Black Spade Duck and Red Diamond duck, coming right up!" Bawdry said with a chuckle, pulling two plushies from out of the bag. "Oh, and feel free to choose a duck, you two. There's no real need for a line, you can just pick from the pond. First come, first serve sorta deal. Thank you for waiting anyways!" Bawdry takes this moment to give everyone in line a pamphlet for her casino. "You DO need these, though."

Lacie flicks open the pamphlet, scanning for any terms and conditions she'd missed before confidently asking, "Black clubs, please!"

Timidly, Stuffie accepts the pamphlet and plushie, giving Bawdry a short bow before taking several steps out of the way of the others. Once certain of their relative out-of-the-wayness, they examine their plushie.

"This promise type is a tricky little bugger - it's always sure to keep it's word, sure, but it always seems to sneak in a few words into it's promises and contracts that involve someone having to buy them bubblegum. It''s...almost like it doesn't know it can just ask."

Once having chosen the black clubs duck, Lacie cheerfully hugs the insect type plushie to himself, nodding. "Thank you~!!"

"This TCP finds comfort in the paths and patterns of the sky. No matter what changes, the stars will always return, and will be just as they were before. Ironically enough, it's what's above them that keeps them grounded."

After standing there for a second to process what was just said, and then curiously giving the pamphlet a once over, Pinabble seems to deliberate for just a moment.

...Aaand then they point at the Red Spade duck. "I'd like this one, please !"
