Your ally immediately jumps out of bed, nearly tackling the invader down only to hit the ground with a dud.
Tiles: A-are you alright?!
Every word is a huge effort to force out of your throat.
The cat grumbles to herself.
The Bandit: Cute effort. Only gives me more reason to get going however-
Your friend immediately latches onto the dog's leg.
The Bandit: You've really got a lot of fight in you today...
The Cat struggles to keep her locked down, very much not at her full capacity. She gets poked mockingly with a foot in response.
The Bandit: Back down before I have to take your teeth.
The cat shakes her head.
You start to get out of your bed slowly.
Tiles: Don't you dare!
The Bandit: Neither of you are in a position to harm me, nor will you have the time soon. I'm here for my own means separate from your war..
Ibarra: We've no reason to trust a word you say-!
The invader kicks the cat in the side repeatedly, getting a yell followed by a series of angry noises out of her. It isn't until long before you can hear something loud crash outside, causing everyone in the room to jump.
The dog takes advantage of the moment to escape Ibarra's grip.
The Bandit: Looks like trouble comes your way, I should make my escape...
She yanks the shroud off a nearby mirror, one taller than yourself by a good amount.
The Bandit: Pursue me if you'd like but I think you'd be best sticking here..
She gives the cat a little tilt of the head.
The Bandit: It's so odd up close.. til we meet again then.
She jumps through the glass, the entire thing crackling until she fully phases through.
Another loud crashing outside, something bad is happening.
You feel yourself at full strength again. Immediately you help Ibarra up.
Ibarra: I'm sorry, couldn't really-
Tiles: It's not on you.
Ibarra: I just wanted to help... sorry that it had to be me today.
Tiles: It wouldn't have made a difference if it was you or Creme, I'm just glad to have allies right now... we need to act however.
You can hear people rapidly storming out of their rooms.
Ibarra quickly grabs your lance and passes it over.
Ibarra: I trust your call...
Ibarra has joined your PARTY.
Ibarra TRUSTS you enough to take orders and open up on occasion.
Ibarra is TROUBLED, her performance may be volatile based on her current confidence.
You have been armed with CROWN LANCE REV.2, your trusty weapon has a trigger that can FREEZE pierced objects and people solid. It has LONG MELEE reach and PIERCE properties.
You are armed with THE BOOK OF STYX, allowing you access to your own hammer space to hold all your items. Only you can use it.
You are armed with THE TOME OF THE FAMILIAR, allowing you access to summoning FAMILIAR fabricated from materials you've found. Your imagination is the limits!
You are primed to summon FAMILIAR: Bastion, your smug little guy.
You are are primed to summon MIRROR FAMILIAR: Jackie, a memory of a loved one. Mirror familiars can only exist in the GLASSPATH, accessible through GLASSYGATE MIRRORS. They replace your active familiar by channeling themselves through them. REQUIRES a existing Familiar to be active.
Current FAMILIAR cap: 2
Ibarra is equipped with PROXY AXE -CREMA, she has LONG MELEE reach and ARMOR BREAKER attributes.
PROXY AXE - CREMA allows Ibarra to control metals on whim and combine chunks into constructed formations.
Creme shares a body with Ibarra, she may pop in at any time.
Creme is equipped with PROXY SWORD - COCAO, she has MODERATE MELEE reach and ARMOR BREAKER attributes.
PROXY SWORD - COCAO allows her to control a manifestation of her MIRROR WORLD form, a mannequin who's properties change drastically based on the armor equipped to her.
You can try to pursue her, the mirror world tends to stagger enough that there's a chance... but you'd be trusting what happens out there to your allies. They're more than capable and proven so even in the couple of months you've worked with them.
You could perhaps seek out one of the other allies previous mentioned to fill you in on things and figure out where to go from there?
You could fully commit to hunkering down in case whatever's going on out there is a legitimate threat. Losing a second home would be... let's not think about that.
