[image description: A anthropomorphic dog woman, dubbed "The bandit" for now, looks over you smugly as you struggle out of bed to stop her from escaping.]
You picture something loud, heavy, enough to kickstart things immediately.
In a instant, a massive wok crashes down, barely missing the bandit who lets out a yelp.
Then the Wok suddenly stops in place.
The Bandit: W-what the-
She turns over to you, tilting her head in confusion.
The Bandit: You're able to see me? How interesting... I suppose in your case it makes sense.
Her eyes shift toward the large mirror covered partially in drapery.
The Bandit: You're not the same though... Someone else's vision of the past perhaps?
You can feel yourself regaining the ability to move, starting to wriggle out of bed.
Her eyes widen.
The Bandit: Just as defiant though, I respect it. I can see you've found yourself a friend too. Shortage of beds, I understand..
You can feel your ally starting to wriggle behind you.
The Bandit: ....Another? Madness to me
Your comrade rises from bed.
You are granted the options for your initial party member. Pick One:
Gallows: The Comedian, a master of trickery and persuasion. He maintains a pact with a man of arms and a well of knowledge. A reliable friend you owe plenty to.
Styx: The Man of Arms, the entity Gallows holds a pact with. When needed, he takes front of his client's body to help others and/or indulge. A friend only you can navigate.
Courier: The Courier, a nameless sword puppeting a flesh body who carries a defiant proxy. Deceptively talented and able to get a job done with low profile. A friend who's quick to be there.
Creme: The Forge, a tall cat with a affinity for metal work and hot drinks. Strong, friendly, and often flustered. A friend who's rather sweet on you.
Ibarra: The Hustle, the original owner of Creme's body. Reluctant to front but driven by a genuine urge to atone for past cowardice. A friend who wishes for forgiveness.
Scab: The Many, a hivemind of a rabbit. Many bodies in many places and regenerates through osmosis. Only the clock can end her life. A friend to everyone.
Your ally immediately jumps out of bed, nearly tackling the invader down only to hit the ground with a dud.
Tiles: A-are you alright?!
Every word is a huge effort to force out of your throat.
The cat grumbles to herself.
The Bandit: Cute effort. Only gives me more reason to get going however-
Your friend immediately latches onto the dog's leg.
The Bandit: You've really got a lot of fight in you today...
The Cat struggles to keep her locked down, very much not at her full capacity. She gets poked mockingly with a foot in response.
The Bandit: Back down before I have to take your teeth.
The cat shakes her head.
You start to get out of your bed slowly.
Tiles: Don't you dare!
The Bandit: Neither of you are in a position to harm me, nor will you have the time soon. I'm here for my own means separate from your war..
Ibarra: We've no reason to trust a word you say-!
The invader kicks the cat in the side repeatedly, getting a yell followed by a series of angry noises out of her. It isn't until long before you can hear something loud crash outside, causing everyone in the room to jump.
The dog takes advantage of the moment to escape Ibarra's grip.
The Bandit: Looks like trouble comes your way, I should make my escape...
She yanks the shroud off a nearby mirror, one taller than yourself by a good amount.
The Bandit: Pursue me if you'd like but I think you'd be best sticking here..
She gives the cat a little tilt of the head.
The Bandit: It's so odd up close.. til we meet again then.
She jumps through the glass, the entire thing crackling until she fully phases through.
Another loud crashing outside, something bad is happening.
You feel yourself at full strength again. Immediately you help Ibarra up.
Ibarra: I'm sorry, couldn't really-
Tiles: It's not on you.
Ibarra: I just wanted to help... sorry that it had to be me today.
Tiles: It wouldn't have made a difference if it was you or Creme, I'm just glad to have allies right now... we need to act however.
You can hear people rapidly storming out of their rooms.
Ibarra quickly grabs your lance and passes it over.
Ibarra: I trust your call...
Ibarra has joined your PARTY.
Ibarra TRUSTS you enough to take orders and open up on occasion.
Ibarra is TROUBLED, her performance may be volatile based on her current confidence.

You can try to pursue her, the mirror world tends to stagger enough that there's a chance... but you'd be trusting what happens out there to your allies. They're more than capable and proven so even in the couple of months you've worked with them.
You could perhaps seek out one of the other allies previous mentioned to fill you in on things and figure out where to go from there?
You could fully commit to hunkering down in case whatever's going on out there is a legitimate threat. Losing a second home would be... let's not think about that.
You have access to THE RAT, a gamemaster who will provide advice and answer questions within reason. Feel free to ask.
our allies are very capable but every assisting hand can help, stay here and help out!
stay and help, at the very least tell them whats going on and see if they need you here
