Staff members are handing out candy to the kids! Mostly individually wrapped, mass-produced candies, such as chocolate and candy bars, hard candies, taffies, and little plastic bags of gummies and candy corns. I got to stand on a table and give out candy too! I was a little disappointed that none of the treats were things I could eat, but then one of my co-workers called me into the back. It appears that they had taken the liberty of acquiring some TCP-compatible candies for me. They were delicious! I liked the chocolates the best. I am really fortunate to be part of a community that goes out of their way to make me feel included.
