[TCPDEX RP EVENT] Forge 2020

Hello again, everyone. I’m writing this because once again, a holiday is upon us. Forge is a holiday celebrating the bonds between people, be they family, friends, partners, coworkers, or anything in between. This will be most of you’s first Forge, and we have taken it upon ourselves to ensure that you all learn more about this cultural event- after all, it’s an important part of your adjustment to society.

Forge is typically celebrated with games and special events, made with pairs in mind. For this holiday, we are offering the opportunity for people to host their own events through pocket dimension missions, with no limitations as to what those events may be- as long as they have the rule of people working in pairs. While games are common, you can also use this event to run more practical missions, or even dangerous ones, so long as you are upfront about the pairing rule and the potential dangers involved. 

Signup forms for this event  are enclosed. All participants in this event will receive Forge Tokens once a mission is completed- more information on that on the form itself.

You are welcome to sign up a TCP as a Player and/or a Host. You can sign up one host and one player per user, and the TCPs do not have to be the same. You do not need your TCPs to have ID cards to take part in this event. 

Players will fill out the form below and post their entry in this thread. Sign ups will be available from now til February 14th, to ensure that people have their information ready for hosts to use during their challenges. 

Hosts will create a new mission thread marked with [FORGE] along with the usual mission status. Forge missions can be created and joined from February 1st to February 14th, and started on February 14th to February 29th and have no deadline for completion. These missions can contain any content and be any length, as long as they incorporate pairs in some way. Once 4 participants have joined a mission, the host can pair up the participants (ideally using the information from the sign up thread). After participants are paired, the mission can be started. Any empty slots in a mission will be filled up with Skinstealer system members to ensure they can actually run- we’re excited to show off our TCPs!

What do you struggle with with relationships? Standing up for myself. Friends are rare enough that any I have I cannot argue or disagree with them much, fearing I would lose them.

Acceptance and care for each other. Even if we do not always understand where the other comes from, we will still by each other and trust in each other’s experiences.

Others may attempt to push me to act in ways I don’t care to, and become disappointed when I will not change what brings me joy for their sakes.

...Having them? I've lived alone for most of my life, and being thrown into a new world teeming with people is rather jarring.

Mutual discovery. Even if we revisit a place I've already seen, I think I would enjoy watching someone else react to it for the first time.

What matters most to you in your relationships? (Of any kind, not just romantic) That we can get along despite our differences. That we could fight and still make up. That we feel comfortable saying when we’ve been pushed too far.
What do you struggle with with relationships? I struggle with none verbal signs that I’ve gone too far. I struggle to read people. I struggle with people who need me to be someone else when we’re in public or something.

Keeping plans and promises due to one of my conditions, even if I really want to.

I usually don't spend much time around people... but I enjoy sharing stories and listening to interesting topics. So people with whom I can talk in peace.

I have to admit overly active people can be... exhausting. Not that I blame them for having so much energy, but I don't think I could be closer friends with them easily.
What matters most to you in your relationships? (Of any kind, not just romantic)
That I'm left to do my own things when I need to. I prefer being alone, but I enjoy just silently being next to someone, maybe working on our things individually and chatting from time to time. So what matters to me most that my boundaries aren't pushed.
What do you struggle with with relationships?
I have trouble establishing meaningful connections due to my distant nature, sadly.

I just need my energy to vibe with somebody, you know? How it does, I'm not too picky.

Sometimes people say I'm kind of insensitive, but I don't see it. I just speak my mind freely.

Can't stand people who cower in the face of danger. I'm a thrillseeker, and I need someone who understands that.

I want somebody I can trust- not expecting a whole lot out of this, but finding somebody where I could put my life in their hands would be cool. Eventually.
What do you struggle with with relationships?
Some people can't get behind the danger of what I do, and that conflicts hard with me. This kind of lifestyle matters to me more than anything.

Quiet people. I like appreciating brief words and even silence, communicating through actions and gestures. Nonverbal communication can be difficult for some TCPs, but I appreciate those who can try.

People who don't place value on art don't get along well with me.

Being able to connect to someone creatively is something I struggle to find, but value intensely.
What do you struggle with with relationships?
Some have said that I come off as kind of passive, due to my dislike of speaking up and making a scene.
