TCP: BRANCH PLAYTEST

You've been invited to play a branch of this game. It's not official, but it looks pretty fun from what you've seen. You boot up the game.

You've turned off the tutorial, but you know the gist of the commands.

GIVE- sharing gifts makes the kitties happy and well! anything can be a gift. 
CREATE- the void is pretty but has full of nothing! kitties can't walk or play on nothing. 
NAME- naming kitties makes them unique and special! they like two syllables best. 
TEACH- kitties have nothing but fluff in their heads! teaching things will make them skilled and strong. 
CHECK- checking kitties is a good way to make sure everything's okay! sometimes they have secrets. 
SPAWN: if you already have a kitty, you'll need more to keep them company! spawning with words helps you make more, but only if the limit says it's ok. 
KILL: sometimes kitties aren't nice to eachother, or go bad along the way. this helps you keep things friendly!

A Mothman Type TCP spawns in. Odd markings, but otherwise standard. It floats in zero-gravity.

CREATE: Lemonade stand, Planet-sized ball of yarn, lamp plants, actual atmosphere, stylistic atmosphere.


You issue a slew of commands. This is a soft world you've given this TCP to play in. The "stylistic atmosphere" command seems to have changed the rendering system slightly.
The lemonade stand hovers slightly and the new Mothman Type uses it as a perch. It seems interested in the glowing plants.

CREATE: CARBON DIOXIDE ATMOSPHERE

the carbon dioxide should dilute any oxygen that may have already been present, and prevent the fire from burning for more than a short moment. the contents of the atmosphere shouldn't matter to TCPs, since they don't breathe anyway. the presence of the lamp plants should slowly rebalance the atmosphere afterwards, assuming they take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen like earth plants do.

It seems to have noticed the new knowledge in its head. It straightens up, confused.

TINDER is now aware of its name. And gardening, and lemonade. It still seems to be searching for the source of this knowledge.
Far away, a battle of sorts rages.

Whoops. The rendering system seems to get a little wonky when dealing with collisions. Odd. Anyway.

Strange ability, seems like its amped up from the original. Tinder seems mostly just confused at the sudden happenings, but is otherwise okay.

Sure, why not. A little extra life is nice.

CREATE: Distant forest composed of lamps the size of trees, with broken glass littering the forest floor.

CREATE: Creatures made of shadow that mimic whatever looks at them, in both appearance and ability. They spawn in any area sufficiently shadowy. They aren't necessarily malicious, but their kindness must be bought. They are hurt by direct light.

Huh. It usually doesn't jump that high. Maybe someone else joined.

The TCP limit has reached its maximum.

Nice, snagged two. The Friend Type spawns in first, falling to the ground with a grunt. Tinder is overjoyed at the presence of a new friend. The Portal Type should be here in a moment or two.
Speaking of new things, those mountains in the back are new. Must be the work of whoever just joined. Titans somehow remain unseen and icy rings now orbit high in this planet's atmosphere.

Heh. You scoot the camera around and-



Uh. That... does not look like a normal Portal Type. It pulls itself off of the ground, accompanied by the sounds of joints creaking, bones snapping back into place, like something broke in the fall. You know it didn't, otherwise you would've gotten a notification, but it moves with a weight that Tinder and her new friend seem less affected by- if at all. Otherwise, it seems unharmed. What a strange creature.

Meanwhile, Tinder is happily chatting to the new Friend Type TCP. They seem to be in the process of getting comfortable around Tinder, even though they can't talk back.
