also i am shocked they locked this hard in on the gore for season 2, every bit of key/promo art is making it vastly clear they arent going to hold back this season- like, season 1 has The Grime but seeing this much vivisection imagery that focuses on the kind of grody detail Hayashida is known for is like okay i  guess we're actually going there. fuck yeah

Maybe I'm biased by CSM 2's ending being on my mind but I kinda wonder how much CSM's meteoric popularity confirmed that getting hands this dirty was cool and okay for mainstream anime series. I hope Dorohedoro gets a chance to push the envelope even further.
