"Apple and Klol are both 10yrs old now, Apple maxed out her growth tier while Klol fell behind sadly... But hopefully now that she's not a slave she'll have more time to grow! I think she got a decent trait anyway which is good. Laurel's kids are growing up fast, I'm glad they're doing well."

Ahh I feel so emotional when the kids start getting older, and I feel awful when they don't reach a high growth tier it always gives such sad flavor text... I really hope Klol's next growth moment will be much better. Her lizard family is giving her support at least...



"Awwh they did end up together after all! I'm so so glad and I'm glad it was Britni who asked instead of Roman pushing the subject. Love you two so much, I'm glad Roman has a beautiful hussar woman looking out for him!"

Roman has been single for four years so seeing him settle down (With a fellow asexual too!) really made my day when it happened. I hope these two keep making each other happy...




"Cute interactions within the colony, Drazen being a paternal grandpa to any kid he comes across as usual... Try not to make Apple too invested in the rocket launcher please! And Perseus is being angsty about his parent's divorce awh... poor kiddo, I hope things work out for him."

Some may question the idea of teaching children how to operate rocket launchers and I may remind you that this colony is regularly besieged by horrors beyond comprehension and war machines out for blood. She'd have to learn eventually! Perseus is his parent's eldest child I imagine the divorce was hitting him especially hard... Poor foxy boy.



"This is a sort of unexpected coupling? Surozz and Aoi have gotten together! Wow okay well... Aoi you better look after that girl and her kid, rooting for you both even if I wasn't expecting it"

This means all three of our androids are now in relationships, I'm proud of how quickly they've made lives for themselves within the colony. Especially Aoi who is the youngest. Surozz having someone to look after her is a relief too, I felt so bad about her being alone after Dear... This colony supports each other and their kids but it still must suck to be abandoned by your lover before your child can be born.

"Niesha is pretty popular within the empire huh? Try not to be too jealous Aredoze... We had her ceremony and it went fine, got some bonus honor for the sheer size of the attendees but I couldn't help but notice Gerjorn chose to stand next to Shivak? What's going on there... Gerjorn just leave him please!"

Niesha deserves more recognition she's the colony mom and also the first pawn who joined! If it wasn't for her Roman would've been all alone with a newborn at the start of the game so I obviously appreciate her a lot... Shout out space russian mom.



"Two new pregnancies or- one new pregnancy and an egg hmm... Cav doesn't seem so sure of herself but I hope Jackie can support her through this... I do want more grandkids for Roman and she's not overly sad about the situation... Bux on the other hand must be getting overwhelmed with the amount of children by now so I'm going to probably give him or Skrapak some kind of birth control or surgery to temporarily stem the baby population."

I was going to set the younger couples to have reduced pregnancy chance but I keeeep forgetting to actually change that when they get together, until I'm jumpscared by the notification. I guess it's not unrealistic but I feel bad that Cav feels bad about it. Skrapak has a vasectomy now so they're not gonna get overwhelmed by baby lizards anymore.



"Maize and Slate got married! Pretty much the whole colony attended which makes sense everyone knows everyone and we're all pretty close (for the most part anyway). Love continues to grow in the colony!"

I should make a dedicated marriage spot at some point, too many ceremonies have happened in a bathroom... something to add to the list!
