"A woman name Wendy came to us seeking aid, following behind here were two very pissed off groups of raiders. But she made it safe and sound, she's REALLY good at construction so I'm considering keeping her at the colony but it remains to be seen..."

Spoilers: We keep her. I'm gonna do an updated look at all the colonists (aside from the babies) once I get to the end of these past updates.



"Ahh! They grow up so fast! Perseus came to us as a little baby and now he's all grown up (kinda) and already thinking about lovers? Calm down foxy boy! Focus on supporting your dad right now... he really needs it."

Our little drop pod baby is all grown up now, he was the second colony baby and obviously very dear to our hearts as a result. I do hope he is able to have his own family someday but he's only like 14 in the current playthrough so there's plenty of time before that happens. He's kind of a big brother to every colony kid (except Jackie and Dear), I should draw all three of them together at some point.




"And just as we were expecting the raiders to show up looking for Wendy we get an alert about sightstealers... great! Well we cleaned up most of the ones standing around our gates, thanks Aredoze for standing in the way of their horrible claws but maybe we can use the rest as fodder for the raiders?"

Roman and his uncle (and his bots) are more then enough to handle a lot of threats, after this we ended up establishing more of a military force, the battlemaidens, but sometimes the old reliable warhammer and pistol are fine.



"Well the raiders did show up and oh my god there were WAY more sightstealers then I thought- Yeah they mostly cleaned up the raiders and then we picked off the rest... and as usual someone goes into labour during the fighting- at least the baby is healthy T-T... Hi baby Sequoia."

Sightstealers aren't that scary but they group up and run you down to melee you to death, they're a huge pain if you only focus on shooting skills for defense. Regarding little deer baby, one of my favourite things about having kids in the colony is seeing how they inherit their parents genes. I run a mod that makes xenogenes inheritable because I just love when my highmate kids get kitty ears, etc.



"As a bonus heres our new recreation room! Complete with a pool, bathroom, hot tubs and anything else you might need to relax. We've come far as a colony, it's time to treat ourselves!"

I'll be sure to show off more of the colony later on, in current times the left side is now a big nursery (I named it the 'kid pit'). We're currently building a way way bigger hospital too!
