Number 5 seems like a very good idea. Having backup plans for the worst possible outcome is probably something we should have prepared for sooner. That being said, I think it would be a good idea to have some sort of holding area for Chops. Not some sort of prison cell, just someplace safe enough for Chops to be unrestrained but still "captured".
