Oh cool
How would he feel about wearing clothes that match the blue patterns on their body? I feel like people that didn't know him very well would gift him blue checkered clothes if they were getting something for him, and eventually he'd accumulate a heap of square-patterned clothes with varying shades of blue.

oh he'd feel super weird about it honestly- i feel like he'd wear nice suits in neutral (probably black or dark brown) colors to contrast with the more detailed + colorful grid patterns caused by his motif

that said im gonna add the weird gifts thing because god that'd torment him to no end. he keeps joking he's gonna make a quilt out of em
