Spark Rallying, The Other Shredmancy

Spark Rallying, or Shred Weaving depending on locale has picked up as a principle alternative to proxy for those without a innate sensitivity to master conventional scrapmancery.

A relatively niche, often associated with "new age" spiritualist beliefs form of sensitivity has risen in the ranks of many private practitioners often associated with guild systems and adjacent.

There's relatively inconsistent stories regarding the true origin of the practice, the common biological factor is a excess of biogeneration of "Shred" energy. Recent studies believe it to potentially be a side effect of those who can freely open rifts into "pocket" spaces without use of a ultrafaunal beings such as angel or entity, anomalies who through granted or born needs have effectively hit a metaphorical geyser of power.

Observations among those who've tapped in are extended lifespan for one's species, ability to carry over natural properties of objects from other reality intact, and being able to survive rather long periods without living essentials. There are records of people who've been stranded without food for up to 3 months being discovered..

Because the energy is very raw and difficult to control, those who operate in high population spaces tend to filter their abilities through objects such as umbrellas, walking sticks, and prop weapons in a pinch. A properly conditioned tool can be used to store energy as well, and in the eldest outliers ability to charge or drain other living beings down to collection of the consciousness.

It's yet to be fully explored and rising adoption is anticipated to eventually make it standardized among many guilds for field knights and high priority courier alike.
