The creature is vaguely offended and annoyed that you want it to uncover its hiding place for the water glass under the bed. It will be doing no such things as going under there, ripping up the bed, and especially not the wethand technique.

Throw the book at them!

And by that I mean literally pick up the book from earlier, the one with the incomprehensible text, and be ready to hurl it at whoever comes in the room. We're not taking them to court... Yet.

The creature likes this idea. It readies itself to obliterate whatever comes through. The rumbling intensifies. It's coming.
