"Roman's quest to understand the anomolies drives him to poke the void, to see what he can find... Hopefully something good! Meanwhile Shivak bonds with his youngest, I hope he and Morgir are still able to be close together, it'd be a shame if the divorce affects his ability to be with his children."

Ahah... Roman you've got weird organs enough already don't you? No he says, more weird organs! |

Shivak at least wants to be involved in his kids lives, when he's not busy researching that is. Getting to the end of the tech tree has freed up a lot of my pawns time, we're in a very endgame colony but I'm not done with you freaks yet.

[Following section has implications of sexual abuse and human trafficking (typical of Rimworld slavery mechanics), feel free to scroll to the next chunk of images]

"Araz is now a child! Bux and Skrapak's family are doing really well for themselves, Araz is sure to grow up very healthy and happy here! Surrounded by... many siblings. In other news we had a strange request, someone wanted us to take a Charmweaver off their hands. I feel bad for her, it seems like the woman enslaved her... and she's pregnant. I really hope she'll do better with us then trapped with her and her cohorts."

Yeah there's no real getting around the latter implication, unfortunately the way Charmweavers are handled by the mod they're oversexualised and the events to obtain them have bad implications especially with the fact that they'll usually spawn pregnant. I'm not really sure how I want to handle that in my colony... I'm open to questions about it or advice but I kind of just want to leave it for now, it's a bit of a bomb to drop so casually. I'd like to handle it more in future updates when I'm not pulling from scraps that I don't remember well now.

"The fallout has ended! Thankfully it didn't last too long, just long enough to be annoying. The colony must be relieved to go outside again."

So this update is dropping right after the last one so it might appear to be the next day, it was more like... several months? In reality? Rimworld is broken up into 15 days per month and there's 4 months in each year but every year is treated as a full earth year in terms of pawn aging... stuff gets a little confusing at times but don't worry about it. This took like maybe 2-3 months to clear out? I'll try to keep better track of the time.

"Well- for our troubles poking the void we received another obelisk. We couldn't exactly deal with it due to the fallout but as soon as we did it well.... Now we have another roman! Fun!

Only time will tell how this will end up..."

Here it is! The crux of why I started this colony, I wanted to see if I could clone one of my colonists with the twisted obelisks. I've never had the event spawn before and I find the idea of multiple selves running around physically in meatspace very fun, I wonder why lol. So now Roman has a twin, hurrah!!

That's the last of the tumblr updates from where this thread started. I'm going to see if theres any bonus art that didn't fit in with these posts and then I'll start getting through my screenshot backlog.
