Melodius lifts some weights to try to wake up. They're not feeling it though.

But jamming out to some music? There we go!

Melodius gives Zaneta a pie and leaves some veggies out for other critters. Smooch! 
 
Melodius has their cute friend over again! They have changed since Melodius last saw her! It's still fun.

Birth is rough... 

But not insurmountable. Welcome to life, Death!

I looked away for a moment to help babe with his tamafriend. Her name is Jakii.
How are you sick already?

Both girls are stabilized.

Jakii's turn to get sick. I direct my babe to the medicine box.

Now that both girls are satisfied, we try to connect!

But I read the manual like a week ago and didn't realize there was one last button input needed for it to work. I am puzzled! Google suggests resetting, so I reset both. I fiddle with mine first, and accidentally overwrite Death. Gods dammit. I restore Jakii successfully. 
Once Death has been reinstated, she is able to hang out with Jakii for the first time!

Jakii evolves first. Nice.

Death evolves shortly after, despite their age difference! Could more experienced care provide a reduction in evolution time?
She immediately falls asleep. It's been a long day.

Death is successfully put to bed.
Jakii, however, becomes lost in the ocean of blankets and pillows that babe calls his side of the bed.

I found her the next morning, sick with a messy room. Oh dear.
Babe is at D&D with Da Bois, so I'm in charge of the tama-children today. I clean everything up, administer the medicine, and fill her hearts. I play a couple games to minimize neglect consequences.
