Fielder manages to back away in time, only to be shoulder tackled into the ground. Your boosted sturdiness from RETRIBUTION makes the impact like being hit by a wall. You gain a page, "MIRROR FRAGMENT."

Your moment of advantage is cut short.

Your ribs are jabbed with enough force to wind you instantly. Some sort of bullet? A throwing knife?

Your mind is blasted with images of your failure, being unable to even get past this first starting portal. 

What hit you? A Poison dart?

You check your wounds.
