-Paper Balloon/Lantern Pinitelle morph

Thinking of a reversal of standard pinitelle - now it's a lightweight form that can fly on the wind! Paper could still carry a small amount of fluid inside. Maybe related to embolisms trapping air under the shell?

You've seen lithops and other small cacti with large flowers, right? Could be a land adaptation though a resinous skin excretion as lotions to keep skin moist were used.
