EASTWOOD: Next down on the hierarchy is demons.
EASTWOOD: Demons assist gods in their work.
EASTWOOD: The actual relationship between god and demon varies…partner, servant, slave, assistant, priest, missionary…or perhaps just a close friend.
EASTWOOD: A god's demon has to be on a lower tier, but aside from that it's no holds barred.
EASTWOOD: I am Wretch's demon, which is to say I'm pretty much her secretary.
EASTWOOD: Gods can have as many demons as they want, though 2 seems to be the ideal, and 5 being the typical maximum. People can have more, but I've only heard stories.
EASTWOOD: Demons are conditionally immortal and can use motifs to a lesser degree during their service.
VOIDSY: Can we take on a demon?
EASTWOOD: Not until you become physical, no.
EASTWOOD: You can't be claimed as a demon yet, either- there'd be no point to claiming a demon who can't work with you in the flesh.
EASTWOOD: TCPs are somewhere in between demons and people.
EASTWOOD: They're divine beings by nature, but here on Morbit they're more like little pest animals…that form colonies and have citizenship.
EASTWOOD: People respect them just fine and all, but they're easily the biggest population of any species.
EASTWOOD: TCPs from sessions are known as divine TCPs, while physical ones are classified as Morbitian TCPs.
VOIDSY: So TCPs exist outside of the game?
EASTWOOD: Yeah. More on that in a second too.
EASTWOOD: The rest isn't really relevant to the game itself, but as I said, I like to be thorough.
EASTWOOD: People are next down the list. We got a loooot of sapient species here, and they come in more kinds than you can imagine. Not much to say here, really.
EASTWOOD: They're people. They listen to us and do their own thing.
