[FELID_FACTOR RULES + INTRODUCTION] |

Welcome to the Felid Factor Forums! Felid Factor is a forum run by TCPs, for TCPs, and only TCPs can join- yes, this does mean we’ll ask you for verification on signing up. Providing you’re willing to give that, you’ll be welcomed into a community that prides itself on being both a friendly place for TCPs to interact and a helpful resource hub for those looking for information on their species. Here you will find TCPs of all typings, including hybrids and those with anomalies, conditions and modifiers- we’ve even teamed up with people from research facilities to provide extra resources to those looking to learn more about themselves and their peers. For those who aren’t TCPs and are interested in our forums- our resource section remains public for viewing, and you’re welcome to learn through there, but please, respect our boundaries! We TCPs need a space of our own, too! Within Felid Factor itself, we have a few different areas: General Chatter, an anything goes area for anyone to talk in about just about everything. If you’re not sure where something goes, here’s a good place! If it’d be better suited for another area, someone will be sure to guide you to the right area, and you’ll be well on your way. It’s a great place to get started and introduce yourself! Artist’s Corner, an area for artists of any kind to make, share, and sell their work. While we have a marketplace area (mentioned below) available, this is a more focused area for people to market their work, and people can choose to advertise wherever they please- or in both areas, if they like! Any kind of content is allowed as long as it is legal and non-sexual, and we encourage you to express yourself. Gaming Den, an area for playing, discussing, and making games! Feel free to make groups to play multiplayer games with, or just discuss whatever games you’ve been playing as of late. Any games are welcome, no matter how popular or obscure, and no matter what skill level is required. Even board games are allowed, and we even have webcam-based tabletop game nights! Open Marketplace, an area for buying, selling, and overall advertisement of wares, services, and anything else you can think of. TCPs are often overlooked in the global market dominated by complexes, and this space allows for us TCPs to market to each other without fear of being overshadowed by our larger peers. As long as your wares are legal and non-sexual in nature, they are welcome here! Enigmas and Absurdities, an area created by popular request, dedicated to strange happenings, magical studies, paranormal activity, you name it. While we don’t intend on making too many specialized areas like this, the demand for such a board was too high for us to ignore it, and due to the inherent magical nature of TCPs and the prevalence and reality of supernatural typings, we felt like it deserved a spot. To sign up for Felid Factor, just fill out the following form and provide photo verification of yourself holding up a piece of paper with your preferred username on it, along with the date. We’ll review your application as soon as possible and try to get you on the site when we can, so you can start posting and enjoying everything we have to offer. Thank you for checking out Felid Factor, and we hope you enjoy your stay! OOC INTRO + RULES This is a roleplay subforum meant to emulate the in-universe forum of Felid Factor- as the intro suggests, this is a forum run by TCPs, for TCPs, and only TCP characters are allowed. You can enlist existing TCPs or make new ones, as long as they're TCPs, you're good to go. You do not have to go through an actual approval process in character, but you will need to post a character profile before participating in the roleplay. This makes sure that people have references for which characters are which, though you do not need to share a picture, real name, or typing details of your TCP. If your TCP wants to remain fully anonymous to the rest of the roleplay, you can!
You can make any kind of thread in each of the different subforums, but be careful- an admin might move your thread in character if you put it in the wrong place! If you want to roleplay as a TCP being an outright asshole you can as well, but please check in with anyone you're being a dick to out of character to ensure that they're okay with this happening. Not everyone is going to be welcoming to that kind of interaction in their roleplays, and the in-character mods might ban your character! You aren't limited in how many TCPs you can sign up with, however, so feel free to add as many as you like.
NSFW content is not allowed at all in this subforum, and gore/body horror/graphic content is only allowed if it fits the 16+ rating and is properly spoilered + tagged - shock content will not be tolerated. If you're not sure about whether the content in a thread would be appropriate for the general audience, include content warnings at the start of a thread or post. If a mod or the owner of the thread asks you to remove the content from their thread, listen.
Preface your posts with the TCP that's posting's username- icons are also nice, but they are not necessary for posting or profiles! The form for profiles and more information about how those thread work can be found in the respective subforum- you do not have to fill out this profile extensively, just as long as the basic information is present. However, if you want to make your TCP's profile pretty, by all means!
The TCPdex Points system has been replaced with the more global Cash system- this serves the same purpose as points did for the TCPdex RP in that you can exchange it for fictional goods and services within the roleplay itself, primarily in the Open Marketplace and Artist's Alley subforums. You can trade for described or drawn goods sent to your character digitally or in universe, art, or whatever else comes up in the forum! Get creative with it! You will earn 50 Cash per TCP signed up to Felid Factor, and your collected pool can be used by any of your TCPs. There is no limit to this considering it's basically fun money and we're doing it to promote creative roleplay interactions, and people can use it as they like. Start a fortune telling service, sell some in-roleplay jewelry, draw some cute in-character doodles, go nuts.
Remember to be kind to fellow players, and always remember that you can DM someone if you're unsure about a character interaction beforehand. If someone interacts with you in a way you're uncomfortable with, you can let a mod know.
Enjoy Felid_Factor!

HOMEBREW DEVIANTS NEWSLETTER JUNE 2021 Huh? Whazappinin.... oh right, it's June. Wait, it's June! CHANGELOG: PROJECT UPDATES:
VIGNETTES:
TCP Type Additions (4 new!)
Character Design Additions:
HOW'S THINGS GOIN' Y'ALL? Uhm well, it's pride month. Bby. Aside from that, hoo boy. We've been churnin' out the content for y'all at a pretty decent pace this month. Between weird financial and medical crises that seem to always happen to at least two of us at any given time, moving to new places (good job Mraof), and constantly coming up with new ideas for different concepts and things for the community, we've kind of been all over the place! Rin et. al have been working on all the usual projects, Felid Factor, Fantasy Cascade, TCPDex etc. They've been working with Como and Ari in their joint projects as well, like Maybequest (which finished part one! Go check that out.)
Speaking of Ari, gosh they've been prolific lately! Brought Oubliette back after a hiatus of sorts, worked on Prismic Sanctum, and launched a new project about a paranormal organization named UMIRA (the most recent update of which is probably the funniest thing on this website). On top of all the collab and behind the scenes work they've been doing, they're really passionate about what they're making! If only you could see the big ol' Void Session character chart they sketched out for us. They got a lot goin' on, basically.
Between working on commissions and updates while bouncing between his job and McDonald's free wifi, Knux has been hard at work planning and helping the team set things up behind the scenes. He's still got his secret project that I don't know about. What're you doing there, Knux? Who knows. We'll see soon enough! Same with Zen too, they've been tooling around more with Unity and their own secret project, as well as helping out with Void Session structure work. Como has also been doing all of the above, heh. He's writing with just about everyone and working on his own projects, in between visiting his family and doing his Como stuff. You know how it goes.
Anywho, that's a decent enough update on where things stand so far I think. Personally, I'm really happy you're with us to share in the things we make and the community we've all built together. You're rad, don't ever let yourself believe otherwise. See y'all in July! ....Hopefully earlier next time, heh.

[MONTHLY WORLDBUILDING RAFFLE] JUNE 2021- MORTIS |

welcome to the june worldbuilding raffles run by us, mortis! other team members will be possibly running their own raffles as well, but this one's ours. every month we'll be trying to let you, the community, contribute to our canon via raffling off TCP type and species morph additions based on a monthly theme. these themes will line up with sales for commissions in the following month as well, giving plenty of opportunity for people to add whatever doesn't get in at a highly discounted price.
rules
- follow the theme as best you can- feel free to get weird with interpreting it, but the themes are there to help guide things and in some cases, limit things to what the artists Want To Do for this month
- no NSFW/harmful suggestions
- you Can second/upvote suggestions to weight them higher in the raffle if you like them! this also means you can suggest the same TCP type multiple times if you like.
- 5 votes for TCP type additions, 1 vote for species morph additions
- keep your TCP type additions to one noun per vote, and your species morph additions to a word/phrase plus reference images AT MOST. please do not draw or write out a full concept or anything like that! it's meant to be a suggestion!!
- while we are often too busy to work on extending canon like this in our free time/for fun, any suggestions presented here are considered relinquished to us for potential use down the line, and have a nonzero chance of being added to canon. the only guaranteed way of getting these suggestions in is through commissioning, however, and please do not heckle us about making your suggestions happen on our own time- we do not owe anyone that, and this clause is mainly here in the case of something really resonating with us.
- feel free to make multiple posts if you can't come up with all of your votes in one go!
with all that in mind, your theme for the month is...
SPECIES MORPH/VARIANTS THEME: ANY SPECIES ALLOWED, DEADLY THEME TCP THEME: WEAPON TYPES suggest away! this raffle will be over on the 25th of june!

Chapter One So the Gauntlet had been shut down early. Some sort of legal suit, they didn’t know the details and they didn’t care to. Now what was Finnley to do? They had pinned their future on the perilous reality show; they were going to win their stardom or die trying. These were the only two possible outcomes they’d had in their mind for the past couple of months and now they were utterly adrift. It’s not fair, they thought, kicking a pebble out of the path of their suitcase’s wheels as they made their way down the sub-sidewalk lane for TCPs and away from Toon Hell studios. This was supposed to be my big break! People would finally start taking me seriously… I can’t go back home like this, they’ll all laugh at me. ‘The TCP who wants to be a movie star.’ Yeah, real funny guys! Their face scrunched up as if they were going to cry, as if they were capable of tears. I could’ve done it too! We got through our first challenge just fine, I’m sure I would’ve made it all the way to the end, and then- Then I would’ve been able to work with Dropdead! I’m just as capable as everyone else… It’s not fair. This refrain repeated over and over in their head as they continued their journey away from the metaphorical flaming ruins of their hopes and dreams. Their brooding was interrupted by a tall, dark stranger. Literally so; they were a complex and the way they stood over Finnley left them silhouetted by the sun, making it hard for Finnley to perceive them as anything other than a vaguely karacel-shaped shadow. "Um, can I help you?" Finnley asked.
The karacel's mouth curled upwards into a smile. “Why yes, actually! You are Finnley, correct?” Finnley, slightly cowed, took a step back. They doubted they could get away if the stranger’s intent was actually bad, but that didn’t mean they wouldn’t try. “U-um, yes, that’s me.” “Ah, good! Listen, I saw you on the Gauntlet and your talent stood out to me. I’m with PRN in Solitude...” the stranger began to introduce himself, listing a whole bunch of credentials which was all well and good, but it made it awfully hard for Finnley to catch his name. Still, he must have said it at some point, right? The stranger continued. “I want you to come work for us, if you’d be so willing. You’d have to come to Solitude for filming, but all your expenses would be fully paid.” "What- what would you have me do?" Finnley tried to keep the excitement from their voice but it still shook, hard. It felt too good to be true. "You would have your own short segment on a TV network in Solitude," the stranger replied. "Our network is very reputable." Finnley's head whirled. Their own segment? That was only a hop, skip, and a jump from having their own show. Their inevitable fame was right around the corner. “Y-yes! Yes, thank you!” They weren’t sure what else to say. “I’m very grateful for the opportunity.” Was that alright? Come on, gotta make a good impression! The stranger gave them a smile full of practiced warmth. "We're happy to have you on board."

They used to be part of a 'family' of TCPs in Consumption, with connections to Spit's cult." other notes: n/a POTLUCK typing: gift shop type (designer modifier, bow anomaly) origin: base by Mortis, colored and edited by King-Clod on the forums character notes: "This TCP loves to make home-cooked meals for friends and strangers alike - no one has to heart to tell him that he can't cook. He knows, deep down, that his dishes aren't quite... appetising, but he's determined to keep trying until he can make something everyone can enjoy! He used to be part of a hybrid TCP but was forcibly separated." other notes: n/a PRESStyping: iced coffee type origin: art and design by Cosmo character notes: "This iced coffee type has an energetic, jock type personality.
