Hi folks, this is my first attempt at writing and publishing a story to the public eye, forgive me if I struggle to find the right words to describe this.
It's a story set in the made up city of Edanvile, Georgia. It follows my character Bobby Collins after the death of his best and only friend Caine Reeves. The prologue is short, it's about Bobby struggling as he attends the funeral of his friend, the funeral is brutal and misgenders Caine heavily. Please mind the tags featured on the work and let me know if I need to add any more content warnings, I tried to be thorough but I can miss these things very easily. Chapter 1 is lighter in tone but features some internalised transphobia and an uncomfortable tone around gender non conforming trans people.
