This is somewhat overwhelming for me to read, but I really appreciate the folks that don't speak much or are more uncomfortable about being present working on this, it's nice to get to know folks beyond "this person just showed up, don't know what's with that" that was a thing for a while... Also Beige and Scrawl, have you considered using the scale tool on your heads? I know both of you are looking for specific shapes and I got a lot out of that when I was trying out Secondlife. |

>NUZZLE: he is very helpful! i mean that genuinely. >NUZZLE: having a little echolalia demon helps us laugh even during the worst times. >REMIX: i'm helping! oh that is.. a highly specific kinda system member to have, it's oddly cool to know another system's got something similar! i've always just called our resident noisemaker echo because he refuses to give a name, pretty sure he thinks it's funny? hard to tell when you mostly get laughter and perfectly mimicking say. vidya game or meme quotes at you out of the darkness randomly. sometimes they're relevant/just heard 'em and sometimes you get fuckin.. Joshua twewy lines at you for three days straight! i couldn't tell you anything as to what he looks like, since i can't see him for whatever brain reason, but i'm informed he's got a black and white and red aesthetic goin on. -- it's very impressive how much you all did with just those marking packs! even hearing about how customizable the tcp avatars and sl are, it was hard to picture the extent without having played it? i've only ever seen what y'all've posted in the work streams and now this, i especially like your eyes @ blight! |

I appreciate all the work you put on setting up the Matrix space, Scapula. I hope my relative quiet there hasn't made it seem like I don't (or maybe more likely, just made my appreciation non-apparent). I don't have any questions at the moment, I'm bad at thinking of questions without some kind of motivational framework, stuff like being in a game or needing to know something as a matter of practical concern. I do think it's nice to see the color palettes for the avatars expand. It's maybe weird of me, but it results in them having a lot more ~signs-of-life/sparkle-in-the-eye to me, metaphorically speaking, almost more so than the patterns and markings do despite the latter ostensibly conveying more literal information. It's also prompted me to notice how, even for the avatars that weren't changed, the growth in variety of the avatars still ~sharpens/refines the implicit meaning of the ones that haven't changed. Before, the avatars didn't have no pattern/marking, there just ~wasn't even a conceptual space for it. Now, by contrast, the avatars that don't have a pattern/marking instead have No Pattern/Marking (for now at least). |

This is probably opening a very large rabbit hole for me but... I could probably make y'all custom accessories for your TCPs if you wanted? To be clear, this would be after you've fully completed the exercise, idk how many rounds you have planned for that- just to make sure you don't end up finding what you're looking for sooner! >BUSHNELL: we'd still like to be kind, and i hope that's good enough. Being kind is always more than enough, and quite frankly, more than most people would bother to do. Keep being kind. >CHARADE: i think a lot of emojis are too scary because they sawed off all of the edges and made them too round and >SCAPULA: corporate? >CHARADE: yes i do not like it. >SCAPULA: i didn't know you could fucking talk. >CHARADE: ![]() I made this joke before, but it bears repeating for the thread: not only is it talking, but it is spitting straight facts. Very valid thoughts on emoji, this is the primary reason I prefer to use text-based ones ^_^ >SCAPULA: ...you do? >PINPRICK: yeah? >PINPRICK: i'm your goddamn pincushion, dude. A sassy pincushion. Good to know your wit is just as sharp as the contents of your torso. >SPECTRO: ...thanks >SPECTRO: we'll see how me being around goes It's going good so far! I know this is tough for some of you, but I personally am enjoying seeing everyone come out and express themselves a bit. Try not to feel too self-conscious about it, y'all are in a safe place here. If anyone tries to start shit on the forums, you are well within your rights to enforce your boundaries. ...Or sic me on them so I can ban their ass into the sun. |

Oh yay implosion update! Once again seeing everyone's avatars has been so cool, inspiring even. We've been thinking about system exercises similar to this one but as a system of maybe like a thousand members, probably more? It's a lil hard. Either way- Love seeing the monochromatic designs for obvious reasons, those always hit really good. Of course everyone's designs are very interesting, I'm especially looking forward to seeing what yall do with props and clothes for the folks who didn't update this round. |

SCAPULA: jesus christ thank you all for the nice replies. SCAPULA: these are definitely going to be larger updates when we field both questions and updating our avatars- but genuinely, we do not mind and it gives us plenty of time to sit down and enjoy having a better connection and being on equal grounds in peoples' eyes. SCAPULA: VERY helpful. thank you. SCAPULA: so, let's do generalized questions first... Related to wanting to be help continue contributing to that feeling of support, if there's anything I can do to help on this friend, or really just in general, I really would be honored to do so.
NUZZLE: thank you very much! NUZZLE: we're going to try to be more upfront about when we need help. NUZZLE: no man's an island as they say, even if we're a bit of an archipelago situation, hehe. Are there any photoshoots any of y'all are excited to do with these new models, either now or later on when they're more fleshed out? I've seen some of the SL photoshoots your system has posted before, like of Bushnell's model, or the black and white goo system mascot, and they're always striking shots.
SCAPULA: yeah, we're starting to scheme. SCAPULA: we kind of want to challenge ourselves to primarily use environments we make ourselves, so it's been a bit of a time brainstorming that. SCAPULA: we all want to develop a unique environment for each of us as well as themes, objects, etc- SCAPULA: thankfully our Obsidian Canvases we've been using to organize things have been helping a lot, especially with clothes. SCAPULA: ...technically i cheated a bit in the "everyone adds things to their avatars at the same time" department and gave mine a little bit of a clothing fit, in order to make myself look less naked in a photoshoot. sorry. SCAPULA: ironically the reason being that i wanted to look saucy. SCAPULA: being a tiny cartoon cat gives you interesting concepts of sex appeal. i guess? SCAPULA: either way i'm not posting that here. NUZZLE: we'll likely be up for posting things of that nature down the road, but we're still figuring out boundaries. NUZZLE: besides, scap's shy. SCAPULA: blegh. SCAPULA: that's the generalized stuff- again, thank you very much. SCAPULA: lilium EXTREMELY generously opted into replying for every single system member equally, which is insane, thank you. SCAPULA: nearly cried over it, can't state how big of a deal that is. SCAPULA: but, we also did a round of model updates- so we're going to include those in with peoples' blurbs. seems like the way to do it with more specific replies coinciding with these huge image heavy updates. SCAPULA: we're unsure how we want to balance out clothing and marking and mesh rounds, but for now, we're starting with our two most recent marking packs- Devilish Furnace and Cherubic Doily. SCAPULA: meant to represent the cherubic and devilish modifiers, system members who picked these are not beholden to those as a part of their typings.... SCAPULA: but it's a nice option for people to feel that out with. SCAPULA: what i'm likely to do after this update is to scribble down different things we're going to do rounds for, and what order to do them in. SCAPULA: markings and clothing are particularly tricky to balance, because mesh can be worked in a lot easier... SCAPULA: at least, in theory. we'll see how that goes. SCAPULA: but i think in terms of priority, we're looking at Markings (including eyespots and additional features like dad type ties, etc) > Mesh > Clothing in terms of priority ordering. SCAPULA: TCPs have significantly less content made for them thus far, so i think it'll work out. SCAPULA: as you'll see when we go through this round, though...people really benefited from these two simple marking packs alone. SCAPULA: we're about to get crazy. SCAPULA: so, buckle up and enjoy over 3000 words on our new avatars, and your questions. SCAPULA: oh, and- if colors look significantly different, it's often a lighting thing. ATLAS
![]() [atlas' avatar has been given pretty drastic changes, with a much varied shades of blue and a skull-like marking on her head. her eyes are far more fishlike, and look wetly at the camera. ] ATLAS: okay so ATLAS: i did a LOT to mine. ATLAS: i think it helped inspire people to see mine changed so dramatically... ATLAS: but i wasn't expecting to feel so much more like myself so quickly! ATLAS: i feel so cute now, and dunkleosteus like... ATLAS: i have no idea where i'll even go from here, this already feels pretty amazing! Hey atlas! Big and soft is a mood, tbh. I really dig your vibes. Very cuteness! What's your favorite aquatic critter?
ATLAS: i like dunkleosteus most of all! ATLAS: ...i'm trying to think of a...not, extinct one, and coming up flat. sorry! ATLAS: dunkles are more than cool enough though....
AUX
![]() [aux's avatar has been given neon hot rod flames on the bottom half of her body and hands, contrasting with the still-pitch black top half and neon eyes. it's a bit spooky. ] AUX: instantly happy with this myself- would i have expected to give myself goofy fire markings? AUX: nope. AUX: but honestly, they totally fit in with a lot of 2000's-2010's rave aesthetics. AUX: i feel right at home. AUX: like atlas, i've got no idea where to go from here- but i only see potential from here on out, lol. Hello Aux. I don't actually know well... Anything, about furry rave culture. Would you mind elaborating? Looking forward to seeing what you cook up with this base, rave stuff always looks cool as hell.
AUX: boy, where do you even start. AUX: so i'm no like formal historian or anything, but i did grow up in the 2000s and 2010s looking up furry videos on youtube like my life depended on it. AUX: growing up as a furry in that era was a lot more fraught than it is today re:....things to do. things to look up to. AUX: nowadays, it's fairly common to be a furry, and while i'm sure kids still get their shit kicked in for it IRL- because frankly kids will do mean shit to anybody for anything "weird", often thanks to their parents- it's nowhere close to the same as how it was in 2009. AUX: for us growing up, it was a profound and crushing sense of loneliness made worse by otherkin shit being tangled up in making it feel like a fucking imperative to find some kind of solidarity, visibility, anything. AUX: so, you'd look up furries and find news articles about Haha those silly animal costume people are at Anthrocon again! AUX: and if you looked up anthrocon on youtube, you're gonna find videos of furry raves and dance competitions. AUX: people would also just take furry art found online, slap it in a windows movie maker slideshow, and put it to their favorite rave tracks. AUX: here's one of our favorites from back in the day Oh my fucking god i can't believe it's still online. god bless AUX: it was this thing we craved being a part of someday, and...yeah, disabled. we'd go to club events on second life from 2014-2016, though, and had a stint as a SL DJ during that period as well. AUX: pretty sure that was my deal, too. i'd like to get back to it someday, even if it's just making crossfade playlists for friends. AUX: there's a lot more i could say on like, the furry musician side of things and the rise of that in popularity but i will be honest it is a hell of a topic and not something i am super confident in talking about so  you will just have to let me opt out of that one for now
BEIGE BOX
![]() [beige's avatar has been given the same skull marking, looking more like a dragon-like mouth on him. similar color shade variation covers his body, making him look vibrant and more detailed.] BEIGE BOX: ...i feel like i'm just repeating the others. BEIGE BOX: but, uh, wow. BEIGE BOX: i mean, it's fairly dramatic. BEIGE BOX: even without a muzzle, i feel wonderful like this. BEIGE BOX: the countershade markings to provide color depth...it feels almost scale-like to me. BEIGE BOX: i would very readily run around like this! Heya Beige. Big fan of dragons. Big fan of being a dragon. The horns on this tcp came out really good. Also the my computer Icon was a dragon? Can I see that? Sounds sick as hell(not biased)
BEIGE BOX: unfortunately i've been completely unable to find the icon in question, as much as i've looked... BEIGE BOX: it may have been a custom theme our mother downloaded before it got a virus, which was the only reason why it was given to us in the first place. BEIGE BOX: ahhh yes, this computer can't even open an internet browser without opening 50 iterations of the window... BEIGE BOX: this will keep my child from accessing the internet! BEIGE BOX: and then it was literally never hooked up to internet, so it didn't matter regardless. BEIGE BOX: but it was a little red dragon partially curling up all regal, and came with a sort of antique library theme. BEIGE: i miss it very much.
BELUGIOS
![]() [alt: belu has been given some black markings, the skull one once again making its appearance- a clear favorite. points on the hands and feet also help provide striking contrast, along with heart rings on the chest. she does, in fact, look very gothic.] BELUGIOS: now that's a lot better. BELUGIOS: it's goth, it's elegant, a little tongue in cheek with the hearts... BELUGIOS: the kind of simplicity you can really dress up. BELUGIOS: exciting things! Lol, hey Belu. Can't wait to see what fashions you cook up for your tcp.
BELUGIOS: i will commit as many crimes as i please!!!! thank you.
BLIGHT
![]() [blight's avatar has been given a monstrous 4 eye setup, with flame markings on her arms converted into burn-like markings. she stands neutrally, imposing even when her posture is casual.] BLIGHT: i like the idea of looking scarred up. BLIGHT: i'll likely lean into that. may as well. BLIGHT: oh, and- i'm the only one who took these eyespots, but i think they're neat. BLIGHT: might change 'em out down the line, but can't complain about looking monstrous. Nice to meet you, Blight. I hope I can become someone to depend on too. Looking forward to seeing how you shape this tcp and yourself.
BLIGHT: thanks. i'll do my best.
BUSHNELL
![]() [bushnell's avatar has been simply given the skull-head marking along with matching points, a slightly darker shade. she's taken a fighting stance, proud of her power. ] BUSHNELL: simple change, but i dig it. BUSHNELL: i know everybody in here went for the damn chompy mouth look (trust me, you'll see it) but it's not hard to understand why. BUSHNELL: before the shakeup, we were all weird horror-inspired things... BUSHNELL: some cuter than others, but it was a core element. BUSHNELL: my guess is it's the same here. Heeeeeeeey Bushnell. 'take no shit' seems to be a running theme with y'all post implosion and I'm all here for it.
BUSHNELL: as it turns out, getting congealed isn't really, uh. conducive. to playing as nice. BUSHNELL: but that's probably for the best. BUSHNELL: we'd still like to be kind, and i hope that's good enough.
CAPSULE
![]() [capsule's avatar has wiggly points on her limbs now, doily-like markings repurposed into an almost amoeba-esque look.] CAPSULE: i wanted to look kinda germ-y. my main form has that going on. CAPSULE: i like the idea of having colors you'd see on fashion dolls, like a barbie or a polly pocket or something... CAPSULE: but like, darker, desaturated. CASPULE: left in a hole too long or something. Howdy Capsule. Oh I am hyped for the medical horror. Can't wait to see what you put together.
CAPSULE: thanks. probably going to need a lot of props and shit, but it'll be fun to mess with.
CASHMERE
![]() [cashmere also took the skull head and points. it's very popular. his red eyes shine a lot more brightly on the darker skull head.] CASHMERE: it's a cute accent and adds more contrast to my face, which i like. CASHMERE: i'd like it even more if i could do, like, bug mandibles or pedipalps. CASHMERE: ....maybe i can set those up down the line.... Heya Cash. I hope I can see you around in the front again. Looking forward to büg.
CASHMERE: i'd like to be, i'm not really sure what my holdup is. CASHMERE: probably something best not talked over in a forum thread, but the fact that i can think through fog at all is a pretty good start.
CHARADE
![]() [charade's avatar is the most dramatic so far, going from a plain white to a black and white ruffly look, with each limb and ear sporting a different color in the rainbow. black eyes and blush have made it a lovely clown. ] SCAPULA: charade smiled and waved when we asked it for primary comments on its avatar. it's very happy with its new look. Nice to meet you Charade! I hope I get to know you as well as any of the others. Howww about... What's your favorite emoji?
CHARADE: i would like the clown emoji. but it's too scary CHARADE: i think a lot of emojis are too scary because they sawed off all of the edges and made them too round and SCAPULA: corporate? CHARADE: yes i do not like it. SCAPULA: i didn't know you could fucking talk. CHARADE: ![]()
CONSTELLAR
![]() [constellar has switched to jewel-like yellow eyes with lovely eyelashes, yellow points tipping his limbs. he looks very cute, and has a sweet pose to match. ] CONSTELLAR: i'm much more comfortable with eyes like this... CONSTELLAR: oh, and- i like that the limb points look like, stars, a little bit CONSTELLAR: feels kind of lame how obviously that's my thing, but... CONSTELLAR: it feels a bit better when it looks this cute in the process..... Nice to meet you, Constellar. Good luck with your blurb next time and I hope to get to know you and your bat.
CONSTELLAR: thank you...
COUNTER
![]() [counter's avatar is now completely different palette wise, a white base with black points, her eyes now red. she lounges dramatically, happy to be observed.] COUNTER: only thing that'd make this better is if i could get more of a distinct boot and glove look going. COUNTER: give me sadism type already, i need to look my best. BELUGIOS: i literally made lace gloves and stockings, you can wait your damn turn for lingerie. COUNTER: hmph BELUGIOS: if scap got to dress up while fronting, you cooould just take a turn tanking the external stressors.... COUNTER: egghhhhhh BELUGIOS: that's what i thought! BELUGIOS: shame on you, letting your husband suffer. COUNTER: he gets a sweater out of it... SCAPULA: i'm literally right here, transcribing- COUNTER: ...you're doing great, dear. SCAPULA: i know. SCAPULA: and i do love the teasing, you know that. SCAPULA: ...belu's right though, i'm not giving you shit to accessorize with unless you help me with like. dishes or something. COUNTER: nice to see we're navigating chores in the middle of a project. Nice to meet you, Counter. Wishing you luck in your gay mission
COUNTER: rest assured, it's going very well! COUNTER: i'm just trying to convince scap to let me figure out some SL screencap kitbash nonsense... SCAPULA: like i implied earlier, i'm good for it once i figure out how to make it feel cool and not weird. COUNTER: i think it's cool. SCAPULA: yeah, and you don't have OCD about how we're being perceived in public. COUNTER: exposure therapy's a thing, dear.
CRUSH
![]() [crush's avatar is the exact same, the TCP sitting casually and unbothered.] CRUSH: keeping it simple for now! CRUSH: i'm a little green alien, i don't need much. I can't recall if I ever met you before, so just to be on the safe side: Nice to meet you, Crush! Lisa frank stuff is really good. Love what you did with the eyespots, looking forward to what you cook up.
CRUSH: i was around for some of the Scrimblo World Megastore setup, but was kinda frantic at the time. hard to say if i was clear on my being around... CRUSH: thanks, though- i'd like to figure out some more fun things...
CURIO
![]() [curio has adopted the skull mask. it definitely adds to his dinosaur-like look!] CURIO: Grrr! CURIO: I'm having fun. ![]() Nice to meet you, Curio! Parasauralophus is very shaped, an image search tells me. Sorry idk much about dinosaurs, but I'd love to learn if you ever feel like info dumping. I really like what youve do with your tcp so far, so I'm looking forward to how it develops.
CURIO: Truth be told, I don't remember a whole lot of the science-y facts I used to myself! CURIO: But that just means I get to learn them all over again!!!!
FISHBEAW
![]() [fishbeaw has added simple blush to his appearance, content with that alone.] FISHBEAW: A simple man, of simple pleasures... FISHBEAW: I doubt my base avatar will be all that complex...which is just fine by me. FISHBEAW: Isn't the blush cute, though? Nice to meet you, Fishbeaw! I vaguely recall that plush you're based on, I think. I know that Scap was happy to be crafting again at least. I'm glad you have that plush for yourself. I hope to get to know you and see how your tcp develops.
FISHBEAW: I can get a picture sometime if I find it in our files! FISHBEAW: It took Scapula about eight hours to complete- at least, I think it was Scap? FISHBEAW: May have been Cashmere... SCAPULA: probably cash, i was in a weird place then. FISHBEAW: Right, right. FISHBEAW: We definitely should have bought pins beforehand, though! CASHMERE: regardless of whether it was me or not, we cramped up our hands something awful. CASHMERE: got lost in the sauce.
FORT
![]() [fort has also opted to change nothing about his avatar, and looks happy to be here.] FORT: nothing for me yet! FORT: i think i'd need something more spotty. FORT: comes with being a whale shark outside of this exercise. Nice to meet you, Fort. Good luck figuring out yourself in the Outside. It's hard out here sometimes, but it's worth it.
FORT: it's a good thing i like the sound of adventure, at least!
HAZARD
![]() [hazard has added yellow blush and pink hand points to his look, the simple edits adding a nice contrast.] HAZARD: ...this feels like cheating, considering i'm just edging to resembling the OC i took my namesake and generalized appearance from. VINCA: It's what you feel for yourself! VINCA: Why not embrace it? HAZARD: guess so... Hey Hazard. Don't be mean to my friend >
![]() I hope that you don't have to be scared and can be comfortable with this new life. wrt to the depression: maaannnnnn. I get it. HAZARD: thanks...i'm definitely going to try.
IVY
![]() [ivy has- you guessed it- brought in the skull mask. it's white, more resembling an actual skull than the others so far.] IVY: ...i have a skull mask normally, and this is basically just that. HAZARD: if i'm not cheating, you're not cheating. IVY: faaair enough. Hi Ivy. Hivy. What's the best jeans? I've got this pair of like, light beige jeans and I really like how they look.
IVY: i haven't worn jeans in years due to everyone else in the system seemingly hating the way they feel now... IVY: but i used to like them when they were worn down to the point of being soft. IVY: i think a lot of the system associates them with being stiff, restrictive, unpleasant- IVY: but god, i liked a good pair of blue or black jeans that softened up.
NOEL
![]() [noel has used the countershade markings to make a cute mottled appearance on his dog, looking a bit like a puppy that's rolled through the mud.] NOEL: what can i say. it's oupy dog. Hi Noel! Like your dog. Whhaaàaatt's your favorite holiday tradition, conceptually(as in, you don't need to have participated in it)?
NOEL: our grandma used to make these little chocolate treats every year- oldheads may remember us making a bunch of TCP types in reference to that tradition. NOEL: chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered oreos, molded chocolates, peppermint bark... NOEL: it was this whole thing for her, she'd buy melting chocolate in those little round shapes and a bunch of molds, and spend the whole day making piles of it for the whole family. NOEL: she made sure to bag them all fancy so that they were portioned out and could be passed along to people even if they weren't directly around for events. NOEL: back then, i was just so fucking happy to get treats, but i think as an adult i can also see how it was a nice little ritual for her. she'd do it every so often outside of christmas, too. NOEL: would be nice to have something we're known for like that someday.
NUZZLE
![]() [nuzzle's used the doily markings and blush to make a rainbow sherbert themed design, pinks and oranges giving him a pastel, summery look.] NUZZLE: i looove ice cream! NUZZLE: particularly rainbow sherbet. NUZZLE: that's my palette of choice- did you know we used to eat crazy amounts of this during the summer? NUZZLE: i miss those enormous tubs of the stuff... NUZZLE: ...what do they put in rainbow sherbet, anyway. it's supposed to be raspberry, right? NUZZLE: hope that wouldn't fuck with our strawberry sensitivity....you'd be shocked at how many fruits are entirely mislabeled. NUZZLE: or, maybe not shocked. our system lives in the US. NUZZLE: it's unfortunately just kind of like this. Hell yeah griffens are great. Not as great as dragons, but a decent choice /jk. Don't stress yourself out too much trying to take on the load of others, but it's admirable that you help like that. What's your favorite storybook?
NUZZLE: winnie the pooh, likely. NUZZLE: i mostly watched the cartoons as a kid, but i really enjoyed everything to do with him. NUZZLE: aside from that...does Dragonology count? BEIGE BOX: it has the whimsy, sure. NUZZLE: that, then, and Beatrix Potter. NUZZLE: ...though i have no idea if those hold up.
PARKER
![]() [parker has also gone all in on the doily markings, but opting for an orange creme and pink look. he looks ready for a picnic.] PARKER: ready for a nice spring day... PARKER: i'm no better than Nuzzle, i love a good food theming. PARKER: for me, while i'll admit creamsicles were on the mind... PARKER: i just like fruits and desserts as a whole. PARKER: and the doily markings are so cute! Nice to meet you, Parker. Get me pictures of Spider-Man!(Sorry, this joke sucks). I hope we can get to chat sometime. What's your favorite doll?
PARKER: me, actually! at the risk of sounded conceited ^\_^'''' PARKER: King Clod sent us this in a care package...and i instantly latched on. PARKER: i'd get a picture, but things are kind of all over from the move. PARKER: i guess i just needed something to talk through, though...and what a lovely doll it is! PARKER: modified clayface dolls became a fairly large interest of ours, though we only have a couple. PARKER: they're a very accessible way to get into toy design and modification! PARKER: here's the maker! PARKER: they don't seem to be selling right now, but i highly recommend giving them a favorite and keeping your eyes peeled. PARKER: i just love the face and ruffles...
PINPRICK
![]() [pinprick added a lighter countershade and darker points, paired with blue blush. it's a distinctly storybook look.] PINPRICK: deliberately invoking Sable here. PINPRICK: i can do whatever i want! Nice to meet you, Pinprick. *I* think it's neat you're a pincushion. And Sable is a great vibe tbh one of the all time favorites of animals cross. Looking forward to your hedgehog cat. What's been your favorite sewing project?
PINPRICK: hard to say, considering i lurk in the bg for basically all of them SCAPULA: ...you do? PINPRICK: yeah? PINPRICK: i'm your goddamn pincushion, dude. SCAPULA: christ this is revealing a lot about us i didn't realize PINPRICK: power of q+a.
REC
![]() [REC went for highly contrasting neon doily markings, emphasizing the heart rings on the torso. it looks less like frills and more rave-like when used like this.] REC: i want to look pretty REC: <3 Nice to meet you, REC. I'm going off vibes here... What's your favorite video?
REC: i like the music video for Monitoring by Deco27 a lot REC: here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbNdx0yqbZE SCAPULA: uh, warning for flashing/gore/stalking/suggestive lyrics on that one SCAPULA: it's real fucking good though, have to second that recommendation SCAPULA: resonates with us as a system like crazy post-implosion.
REMIX
![]() [remix is unchanged, and sits contentedly as a small black void with little red eyes.] REMIX: nothing! to change! Hi Hi hello nice to meet you, Remix! I've heard from the others about your antics and gotta say: loving them. What's your favorite YTP and favorite soundbyte?
REMIX: i really like the electric feel alien video REMIX: but also i like playing spongebob music when things are going bad!!! REMIX: because it helps people smile a bit!!! CASHMERE: before he actually had a name we just called him "jermaclown" due to his tendency to flashbang us with the Sparkle On! blingee gif whenever we were having a mental breakdown. NUZZLE: he is very helpful! i mean that genuinely. NUZZLE: having a little echolalia demon helps us laugh even during the worst times. REMIX: i'm helping!
SCAPULA
![]() [scapula has added red blush to his avatar and nothing else.] SCAPULA: i'm extremely picky and extremely simple. SCAPULA: so it goes, i guess. Yo Scap. Can I call you Mr. Office man instead? Also tell me about your tcp Perfect Worker pleease?
SCAPULA: picture the most tired expression a TCP can make SCAPULA: (i did laugh but no, just scap will do lol) SCAPULA: Perfect Worker is my typeless TCP character i came up with in second life while testing the respective avatar base. SCAPULA: i dressed him up and instantly got attached, and he kind of spontaneously became this important character to me. SCAPULA: he's not actually an office worker, and serves as the mascot for a corporation of some sort. SCAPULA: his main job is to sit around and be made into the platonic ideal of an employee, photographed and put in commercials while not actually be involved in any of the company's work or purposes. SCAPULA: i imagine TCPs are in this position very frequently- they're cute, marketable, and have an exotic intrigue to complex Morbitians similar to how minorities IRL are gawked at and toted around for tokenism and "look! see what our company can do!" reasons. SCAPULA: ...he hates it a lot and is very tired. i can relate.
SCAREDY
![]() [scaredy has also been unchanged, looking just as nervous as before.] SCAREDY: no changes here...i still have zero idea what i'll even go for. Hiya Scaredy! Hope you can get to enjoy Petz again. I know it's been tough for y'all. What's your favorite petz hex?
SCAREDY: UHhhHHHHH ITS BEEN A BIT SCAREDY: jesus i have no idea. SCAREDY: can't go wrong with whalesopods, though. SCAREDY: or...actually, let's go with the comfypaws one. SCAREDY: that one's fucking adorable. i love that still.
SCRAWL
![]() [scrawl has opted to remain the same as well, looking dubiously at the camera.] SCRAWL: nothing yet. SCRAWL: skull helmet didn't really work for the kind of dragon vibe i want. Nice to meetcha, Scrawl. As I said before, big dragon fan. Looking forward to seeing the different takes between you and Beige. What's your favorite dragon?
SCRAWL: i dunno. SCRAWL: i'll figure it out.
SHRAPNEL
![]() [shrapnel's added a white countershade, making him look distinctly more Kitty than before. he still looks angry even with the pink eyebrows and new black eyes, though.] SHRAPNEL: cat achieved! Hey Shrapnel. Glad you're choosing chaos for this. Make the Worst Guy. I believe in you.
SHRAPNEL: i promise nothing less than the utmost worst.
SILKY
![]() [silky is unchanged! do not let the lighting fuckup fool you.] SILKY: nothing for me! SILKY: but i'm sure we'll find something!Nice to meet you, Silky. Hell yeah, hugging ROCKS. Favorite big guy?
SILKY: :3 nuzzle's up there! NUZZLE: implying i'd hug things to death? SILKY: yep!! SILKY: like scap- SCAPULA: WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE LIKE THIS NUZZLE: it was your idea to do this thread! SILKY: youre supposed to be the risk management guy right??? SILKY: ![]() SCAPULA: jesus fucking christ i only ask that folks in the comments be normal about this if i'm going to let people say this shit uncensored please
SIREN
![]() [siren's taken the skull helmet, to surprise of no one. she invites people to take a look, her eyes glowing much more prominently now.] SIREN: part anglerfish type in headspace, i'm not passing this one up. Nice to meet you Siren. As a singlet of thirty years, figuring out yourself is... Something. I feel like I've got some things figured out, but I'm not entirely put together yet. Enjoy life and it'll come to you in time.
SIREN: thanks. we'll see how it unfolds, i guess. SIREN: i didn't particularly like myself re: the fragments i was before, so it's a fresh start, probably? SIREN: yeah
SLYME
![]() [slyme has also taken a similar white countershade to shrapnel, while also accidentally using the same pose as siren. whoops.] SLYME: i'm not copying shrapnel this is just what i like. SHRAPNEL: we just have similar taste. it's not like black and white was uncommon before all this went down. Heya Slyme, been a while. Sometimes you just make A Guy. Doesn't have to be deeper than that. Glad you enjoyed it.
SLYME: thanks
SNAPSHOT
![]() [snapshot has adopted the heart rings and nothing more, the simple red and black markings on the white base leading to a striking avatar.] SNAPSHOT: i...have a love theme in my main form. SNAPSHOT: this is more of that. Nice to meet you, Snapshot. Don't apologize. I really l the eyes, you did a good job. What's. Your favo photo(doesn't have to be taken by you)?
SNAPSHOT: oh, uhh, good question. SNAPSHOT: i used to do a lot of second life photography when we were younger. i think that's part of why my name ended up this. SNAPSHOT: along with the whole...surveillance, motifs, our system got attached to post-implosion. SNAPSHOT: though i'm guessing that's decently apparent through our work. SNAPSHOT: even if i had the pictures i remember fondly, i don't know if i'd share them here- the vast majority of us aren't interested in outing our fragment sources, due to avoiding past associations and expectations... SNAPSHOT: but they did mean a lot to me. i'd like to do more.
SPECTRO
![]() [spectro has not changed a thing about her avatar, still as faceless as before. she seems more okay with the camera, though.] SPECTRO: ...i'll figure it out Nice to meet you, Spectro. Love faceless creatures. Who needs one, right? If love to be your friend. I certainly know how hard it is making them myself.(God I'm so tired all the time)
SPECTRO: ...thanks SPECTRO: we'll see how me being around goes
SQUEAKER
![]() [squeaker has not changed his av at all, but remains dubious about being on camera. sorry, squeaker.] SQUEAKER: i considered the countershade myself, but... SQUEAKER: it has a bit too much coverage for me. SHRAPNEL: yeah, admittedly i plan on changing that up too. SLYME: ditto. SQUEAKER: guess we all prefer it more...shaped? SHRAPNEL: yeah, less broad. Nice to meet you, Squeaker. Good luck with the body thing, I hope this helps. What's your favorite pie? This isn't based on anything I'm just hungry and 'Whats your favorite squeak' doesn't make sense as a question.
SQUEAKER: pumpkin's pretty classic...but i've been really nostalgic for apple the past year... SQUEAKER: fruit pies just arent the same out here on the west coast as they were back in connecticut. ;_;
STARLETT
![]() [starlett did not change her avatar, and is clearly thinking over that decision.] STARLETT: i don't even have a headspace form to go off yet, we're going in without a clue on this one. Nice to meet you, Starlett. I'm glad you found value in this. When I was a kid my parents forced me to do a lot of stuff I thought were stupid. But being forced to try made me find things I like, and taught me the value in going outside my comfort zone and not dismissing something before I tried it. What's your favorite thing you thought you wouldn't like?
STARLETT: egh... STARLETT: if we're talking in general... STARLETT: hard to say. i'm not exactly a sociable person yet. STARLETT: we were scared of mashed potatoes before our grandma made us eat them and now they're one of our favorites. STARLETT: i'm going to cop out and say that's my answer.
TAFFY WRAP
![]() [taffy wrap didn't feel a need to change his avatar, and sits tiredly with no new additions.] TAFFY WRAP: contrary to expectations, i did NOT take the countershade. SQUEAKER: was it the coverage? TAFFY WRAP: ......... TAFFY WRAP: yes. Hi Taffy Wrap. Hell yeah pjs. What's. Your favorite sweater?
TAFFY WRAP: uhh hm. TAFFY WRAP: we've got this big ass blanket robe that's pretty good. TAFFY WRAP: more of a wizard robe than a sweater, but it helps with species dysphoria a lot. TAFFY WRAP: which...doesnt hurt me as much, but others have it really, really bad. TAFFY WRAP: it's something we're looking into, i guess.
VINCA
![]() [vinca is the same black void as before, and looks rather playful about it.] VINCA: No need to change something I'm happy with! Nice to meet you, Vinca. I do live a good shadow thing. What's your favorite shadow being?
VINCA: Oh, i'm unsure. VINCA: I'm kind of out of date on media! VINCA: I'll have to get back to you on that.
WARD
![]() [ward is unchanged as well, the final TCP in the list looking ready to explain his choices.]
WARD: while the markings here are excellent, and i actually do have a skull head on my tail in headspace (and actual head, but that's a secret....) WARD: i felt like i should try to go without. WARD: we'll see how it goes. Heya Ward. You know, I always figure your name was ward In the sense of 'a ward against evil'. Your zombie guy looks cool, can't wait to see what you come up with.
WARD: nice thing is, it works for that too. WARD: as well as, like...a ward as in a role. WARD: multifaceted names are nice, especially when they come to you during horrifying medical emergencies. WARD: cool thing to ease the horrors. SCAPULA: open to more questions, like before...but i've been reminded last minute that i did in fact do a render this week during a major stress period. SCAPULA: setting up the new Homebrew Deviants Matrix Space has been really, really hard on me...and i made a piece about it. SCAPULA: this doesn't have proper backgrounds and props by us, but...considering we also want to take pics of our SL adventures in general, i guess that's not the end of the world. ![]() [a second life screencap of a tiny cartoon anthro cat, curled up and clutching at his head the bedroom around him becomes distorted and oppressive.] SCAPULA: ...i wasn't having a good time. SCAPULA: but...having an avatar has made me feel a lot better. SCAPULA: i'm finally addressing dysphoria i've been avoiding for a long time- i think we all are. SCAPULA: even with bumps in the road, that's pretty important. SCAPULA: please feel free to leave questions and replies. SCAPULA: we appreciate it so much. |

SCAPULA: thank you everybody for such kind responses- i'll be honest, when i posted this last night, i wasn't expecting it to go so well. SCAPULA: i'd say more on that front, but we're pretty overwhelmed with how kind people have been so i give a very pleasant thumbs up there. SCAPULA: while i say that, please feel free to keep commenting! it is just very emotional for us. SCAPULA: you're all very kind, both commenters here, on discord, and bluesky. thank you. SCAPULA: we're already planning our next round (going to do the cherubic and devilish packs we did for abnormality), but i do have Questions and Answers to share. Who's the most excited for avatar making? ![]() [image description: scapula standing casually, explaining to the camera.] SCAPULA: considering i did a lot of the actual "driving" on the avatars with extreme amounts of direction from the whole bunch, i think it's safe to say i'm pretty invested. SCAPULA: how much of that is a long term investment in SL and how much is i'm a micromanaging bastard, hard to tell. SCAPULA: i like doing stupid little tasks forever. SCAPULA: and nice ones like this, obviously. ![]() [curio getting hyped up, happily mid-clap.]
CURIO: I'm VERY excited! CURIO: I don't get to talk to people basically ever, but this has me inspired! CURIO: It's cool, because I don't have a huge grasp on what parts have been made for the avatars- it'll be a brand new adventure for me. ![]() [image description: counter loungeing again a non-existent wall in the background, scapula grumpily leaning on one arm in the foreground.] COUNTER: i'm just looking forward to torturing scap. SCAPULA: ....my partners relentlessly teasing me is probably going to be a regular feature. SCAPULA: sorry in advance. I can't think of any individual questions for anyone right now, but quite a few of you mentioned headspace forms and I'd be interested in hearing more about those if y'all are comfortable with it?
![]() [image description: ward gesturing to a headless TCP in a tattered hospital gown, its tail sportting a skull head peering at the camera.] WARD: i can take this one. WARD: so, most of us have headspace forms, but barely any of them are modeled in 3D, let alone implemented in SL. WARD: those are more or less our "true" forms, and we have images for them- the vast majority can be seen here, actually. WARD: but the nature of this project means that we'd have to actually Draw the different responses if we want more active posing and representation, which isn't ideal compared to easily configured second life models. WARD: the nature of how people relate to these avatars made in this project is entirely dependent on the individual. WARD: some see it more as a videogame character, or some kind of little toy to play with, while others may see it as a secondary self. WARD: likely the nature of this will all shift and change, especially as we tease out different styles and meanings as we go. WARD: but, i can say this much: we are all TCPs, and have both micro and colossal states for different moods and applications. WARD: ....well, we don't actually know that for Acre yet. WARD: which. is part of why it didn't show up in the first post. WARD: forgot it by accident. WARD: sorry acre. ACRE: [vague impression of a weird thumbs up] Because I am an intensely self-centered person, the main question that's on my mind is, for those of you who have interacted with me enough to have formed an opinion on me, what do you think of me? ![]() [image description: vinca pondering to itself.]
VINCA: It's not a bad question at all! VINCA: In fact, we appreciate when people answer similar for us. VINCA: It isn't something I can answer more specifically, despite having known you for some time now, because it isn't something we can easily answer for many people in our life. VINCA: Part of the ongoing, decade long dynamic with the public/social media that lead to the Implosion is people wanting to control us limiting the kind of friendships we can have with other people. VINCA: This lead to a lot of us self-limiting in order to avoid punishment, even in cases where we have been acquaintances on very good terms for years. VINCA: It was very lonely. VINCA: ..... VINCA: I think...the best answer we can give to something like that is that we deeply appreciate those who have supported us. VINCA: Not just in a "patronage" or "audience" sense, but in terms of reliability and kindness. VINCA: It isn't something we've particularly had in our life, and the past year or two have been pretty large discoveries that we are allowed that kind of thing, and allowed to take comfort in it. VINCA: I am hoping that this endeavor allows us to make more friends. even if only in discussion threads, if it's not too personal, do you think you guys would ever want to 'sign off' on who's either most involved with or particularly proud of varying new content releases?
![]() [image description: capsule standing neutrally in front of the camera, somewhat tired looking.]
CAPSULE: yeah, we plan on doing this. CAPSULE: the wiki actually has tags on a bunch of character pages for our old system "who wrote what" and i think we'll likely be keeping those and attributing characters/projects to whatever new assignments get figured out. CAPSULE: really fucking irritating that everything got shuffled around, honestly. CAPSULE: you know we have like 600 fucking characters? CAPSULE: like, designs if nothing else? CAPSULE: 600! CAPSULE: and now they've been scattered everywhere! CAPSULE: six hundred pickup!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAPSULE: can't be helped, i guess. CAPSULE: but yes, we do want to sign off on things and do specific credits. it was nice to do before implosion shit happened. SCAPULA: open for more questions, we'll get to the next round when we get to it. this is fun! SCAPULA: ...also Acre will be here next time. |

| these turned out super cool, it seems like you all had a lot of fun and it's nice to meet you! i look forward to seeing your avatars and whatever you feel like sharing about yourselves, it's.. besides being logistically difficult, ik for me at least, i get weird about sharing how 'i' actually look sometimes? so making avatars in things and seeing what others do in games is fun and memorable, we have an alter now dormant who i miss very much but i still remember its fantasy life character very fondly. even if only in discussion threads, if it's not too personal, do you think you guys would ever want to 'sign off' on who's either most involved with or particularly proud of varying new content releases? |

I have been curious about things have been evolving with you all for a while, though I've never really known how to (or, indeed, if I should at all as an individual) broach the topic, so I am excited to be given the chance to learn. I have enjoyed interacting with those of you have interacted with in the past, and look forward to being able to expand my awareness of you as a collective, as well as to see what those of you who choose talk more here have to say, and to see how your TCPs grow and change as you work on them more. Because I am an intensely self-centered person, the main question that's on my mind is, for those of you who have interacted with me enough to have formed an opinion on me, what do you think of me? It's fair if that hasn't happened for most or all of you, or if that kind of personal question is not something you're comfortable answering even if you know your answer. |

![]() I saw bits and pieces of this project while it was in development (and I'm kind of amazed y'all put this together in less than a day ngl), but seeing it all come together is amazing! There's a few people here I'm familiar with, but also a lot I've never seen. I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone is able to build on these avatars, but less looking forward to the cavalcade of clothing assets I'm sure I'm going to need to convert and export. ![]() I can't think of any individual questions for anyone right now, but quite a few of you mentioned headspace forms and I'd be interested in hearing more about those if y'all are comfortable with it? |

IMPLOSION
AKA: The Mortifying Ordeal of Being Known Post-Escaping The Mass INTRODUCTION ![]() [image description: a tall cartoon cat, known as a TCP, made out of slime and waving at the camera.] hello to folks reading this both new and old to our situation- we're Mortis Velasquez, a plural person and one of the co-founders of the forums you're looking at as we speak. since this is going to be linked on socials and might be the first time people have engaged with our work, i'll try to keep the first part brief. as of this post we are 29 years old, and have been an artist posting on the internet since we were 16. our first interactive project, Tiny Cat People: Void Session, is where we really got our start. it was hosted on TGchan and it was kind of. a point of stress. ...it still is. please do not ask us about that without us talking about it already lol. with that project came the community and team us and our wonderful husband and co-founder Comorant brought together- Homebrew Deviants. we had been working on the universe of Morbit together since we were 13 year old roleplayers on Scratch, always hoping that someday we could make our characters and ideas into something other people could experience. and now people do! and have for the past ten years, alongside a pile of really awesome friends both on HD staff and in the community itself. and for how much we've done re: worldbuilding and narrative projects, it's not bad for a decade. it hasn't been easy, though. 2025 was our first real return to public posting after years of debilitating PTSD over social media and being a public figure under surveillance and exacerbated by life situation after life situation after life situation- everything kind of congealed. we knew ourselves as 100+ system members, which is a lot of guys. people never really got to know everyone, we never really got it all down, not in a way the people around us (or even ourselves) could even learn. as pressure was put on us from external factors, we found ourselves increasingly hard to tell who was who, and not in a good way. we felt like we had lost our identity entirely. for months, particularly during a 6 month period of homelessness, we felt like we had become nothing but a mass of body parts and fragments, all lumped together in some kind of jellied Mass. existing in that state felt forced, like pressure outside of ourselves kept us and of course, it couldn't hold. as we began to settle into our new permanent living situation, we got immediately and increasingly sick as parts began to crawl out of the mass, establishing themselves as individuals. made of the same components, the same chunks of organs, memories, etc- but largely put together "different". due to how volatile it felt, how fast it onset, the only term that felt right was The Implosion. what with everyone's memories, feelings, and associations being a patchwork disaster, we had to scramble to figure out who was who, how people felt about our life, each other, our friends and loved ones, our work- everything. existential crisis doesn't really cover it. it's been over a year since the Implosion, and we're still fucked up over it. social pressure to not have such a drastic change be so public- especially when a specific guy in here was known as the "face" and no longer is Despite The Fact We Keep Getting Called Him Anyway!!!!- kept us from really opening up. what if people refused to learn the new roster? what if people thought "eh, too complicated!" what if people treated us worse than they did before? would we even be able to exist in this new state as a known presence? last summer, we started being a known presence again. it went well. even with some pretty rough spots, it became clear that people did in fact want us around, and to experience our work- to get to know us. we ended up developing a lot stronger bonds with our friends, and getting a broader, more stable support network. and yet we still struggled! even now, most people who we're most close to don't know who the hell is who outside of a few faces, which is the exact thing we want to avoid! god forbid, barely ANYONE knows outside of that immediate circle to begin with! but then we came up with an idea. in a lot of structured groups, especially things like group art therapy, participants are given a simple exercise with simple tools to help introduce themselves. we kept thinking too broadly- while everyone here has some kind of "form"/sona/whatever the hell you want to call it, the idea of explaining those is daunting and freaks some of us out. besides, stuff like second life avatars are a lot harder to pin down for 40 bespoke guys. it's too much pressure to get graphics and models and etc for! but what if we were to give everyone the same basic tools in Second Life- the Basic Typeless TCP avatar pack, vanilla, no addons- and tell them to make some kind of self representation with that? everyone would be on the same playing field, and if asked to do a little writeup of their introduction and why they chose what they did...well, that'd be a pretty good baseline! and it'd be easy enough for new brainguys, too. but, that's not a full picture, is it? that kind of thing takes time and self discovery, and never really ends as a process. how could we emulate that? the nice benefit of Second Life is that avatars take on new parts and traits and pieces over time. you can put them together and adjust piecemeal, and our avatar systems we've designed have been optimized for that in particular. why not go through the kits one at a time and let people choose what to add? what sort of things they want to try, like adding a new bit of clay or accent to their art therapy starting point? and, of course, they get to run around SL in that, or make art, renders, etc- a way to be known. no one more important than anybody else. we managed to get all of the starting avatars done up and rendered last night in 6 hours. this first post will introduce you to our system as it stands now, complete with the avatars we made. here we go. LEVEL 1: BASIC BEGINNINGS going in alphabetical order. let's go. assume everyone here is some weird degree of queer/genderfluid man unless otherwise specified. ![]() [image description: a soft looking blue TCP, stocky and glancing to the side with cute, wet-looking beady eyes. ] ATLAS She/Her hi, i'm atlas and i uh. really like fish, particularly extinct sea life, and i've been likened to the crying cat meme image way too many times- appearance-wise, at least. my TCP to start is a lot more simple, though...which is fine, because it gives me time to figure stuff out. i like being bulky and soft looking, and tend to gravitate to blues and yellows. having the ears on my TCP droop a little bit feels comfy to me, and i guess i couldn't resist the beady eyes. i wasn't exactly expecting to be first up, but i guess that's how the alphabet works ;_; hope that does it good enough ![]() [image description: a tall black TCP with distinctly neon pink eyes, posing as if ready to dance at any moment. ] AUX She/Her i'm AUX and i am a split really centered around high school and stuff like our relationship to furry rave culture (many such cases with people our age, i know.) i like my name in all caps and i like blasting stupid music really loud. my TCP is not actually pitch black, but our reshade filter does that and i kind of like it? i plan on adding more neon accents as i go, but this kind of lanky look should be fun for putting funky clothes and accessories on. optimized towards renders or some shit ![]() [image description: a large red TCP with ears fashioned into wedge-shaped horns, strolling along on a leisurely adventure. ] BEIGE BOX He/Him i'm Beige Box, though just Beige works usually. my avatar here doesn't really convey why i'm called that, but it's meant to be a sort of dragon-like TCP with the limited part set i have to start with. my name comes from the term beige box- if you've seen those old 90's-early 2000's PCs, the ones that well, come in beige, that's a term frequently used. i resonate heavily with the old and sickly Dell PC we had growing up running Windows Me, and i'm hoping to build up this avatar with more features that remind me of my favorite custom desktop theme- where the "my computer" icon was a dragon. ![]() [image description: a white TCP with large, batlike ears lounging exaggeratedly, unimpressed with this interview. ] BELUGIOS She/Her or He/Him depending on mood i'm belugios, though belu will be fine in most cases- i only ask that you don't call me feminine terms unless you're como or from my own system, as the she/her moments are more of a fun occasionally femme dressup thing and i'd like to be seen as a man either way! i love horror and in particular vampire media and imagery, so my TCP is pale as hell and likely going to be decked out in gothic fashion. i should know, i've already made piles of it for SL and am glaring at the queue for this exercise so i can make her stop being fucking naked. goddamn tragic. i also have a notorious lack of filter, so forgive me in advance for being crass. i can and will say the most awful things out of anyone here. ![]() [image description: a thick, dull red TCP sitting down casually, yet looking exhausted ] BLIGHT She/Her i haven't talked much to anyone in-system, so i guess this is an intro to them too. i'm blight, and i don't have a lot figured out yet, but i'd like to. my avatar looks a little rough around the edges from posture alone, and i'd like to make her feel...weathered, but dependable. that's something i want for myself, too. someone people can rely on. ![]() [image description: a stocky, brown TCP seemingly irritated at something off camera. ] BUSHNELL She/Her i'm bushnell, one of the first to crawl out of the Mass and local weird carousel horse thing. i wanted my TCP to be big and bulky and able to throw down if needed- do no harm (probably) and take no shit type deal. i'd like to get some leather on her ASAP. funny that i'm going after blight, because i think we're going to get along, lol. ![]() [image description: a dull pink TCP explaining something to someone off camera, and looking mildly tired of it. ] CAPSULE She/Her wow three bitchy she/her mascs in a row. i'm capsule, and i'm the local doctor of the system, or however you'd put it. i definitely want to go into the medical horror angle, and make my TCP...very uncomfortable, in a way that makes Me comfortable. i have no idea if that makes sense, especially because she's just kind of a weird pinkish starting point. time to mesh a weird scalpel or something???? ![]() [image description: a square-ish red-brown TCP deep in thought, seemingly not noticing the camera. ] CASHMERE He/Him i'm cash, though cashmere works okay too. i'm more private and reserved than a lot of the others, though i'd like to front more in general. staying inside all day feels weird and unpleasant, even if i'm nervous sometimes. i'll be honest, this avatar pulls a lot from my system form, at least in terms of ear placement and build when i'm not a mantis taur. i imagine the bug factor's going to increase from here. ![]() [image description: a gangly white TCP contorting to seemingly push against the camera, overly curious as to what's on the other side. ] CHARADE It/Its ![]() [further poking for a response was not helpful] ![]() [image description: a sleepy green TCP with large ears, distinctly camera-shy. ] CONSTELLAR He/Him uhh i don't really do good with the whole talking thing so you can call me constell if you want and my TCP is a bat Okay Bye i will do better blurbs next time ![]() [image description: a tall, classy looking red TCP with an even, low gaze. she's definitely looking down on you.] COUNTER She/Her i'm counter, and i plan on making my TCP elegant in a way that will make scapula specifically flustered. he's glaring at me for even saying this in public but it's fine! he'll have to deal with it. ![]() ![]() [image description: a very small and chubby lime TCP, his eyespots pink and yellow and ears particularly nubbly. ] CRUSH He/Him i'm crush and i am perpetually really Really anxious and panicky so i'll be quick too i guess! i like 2000's knicknacks and stationary and Lisa Frank style stuff, especially weird little green martians. kind of going for that here. ![]() [image description: a large green TCP with an almost crest-like feature on his head, excitedly posing for the camera. ] CURIO He/Him I'm Curio and I'm really happy to talk publicly for the first time! I don't front much at all, or haven't gotten to yet I guess, but I love dinosaurs, rocks, museums, the works! My memory ain't great post-Implosion on any of these topics, but i'm looking forward to researching more. My av is kind of going for a light-Parasauralophus thing, as that's my favorite dinosaur! ![]() [image description: a large, soft looking seafoam TCP, glancing around peacefully. ] FISHBEAW He/Him Hello! I'm "Fishbeaw", though none of us are really sure if that's going to stick. It has for a year, but who can say when I've barely been active. My name came from a plush Scapula made shortly after moved in, and never really went away. I like all things soft and nautical, and wanted to make a nice base for that kind of direction. ![]() [image description: a thick red TCP, short and ready for adventure. ] FORT He/Him iiii'm Fort! wow, i have not talked about myself at all publicly! this is really weird! i try to be warm and pleasant to be around in-system, and so far i've got pretty good reviews. i have no idea what an external life will look like for me, so i have a very simple starting point! ![]() [image description: a wide, gentle looking teal TCP, unsure about facing the camera. ] HAZARD He/Him hi, uh, this is my second time writing this blurb because my first one was kind of mean to myself. i'm scared of a lot of things, and depressed a lot of the times, but i'm looking forward to existing in this new way, for the most part. this big TCP makes me happy. thank you ![]() [image description: a tall, muted purple TCP sneaking around and looking to its side. ] IVY He/It i'm ivy and i am here and doing my best uh tall lanky pale TCP i'm probably going to be in jeans yep okay ![]() [image description: a simple brown TCP gazing out past the camera, his ears rotated into puppy-like folds. ] NOEL He/Him i'm noel, i'm the only one out of all of our system members carrying a name over, but i think i'm still pretty shuffled over. i really like wintry, christmas aesthetics (wow who'd have guessed) and cozy colors and shapes. i have roughly turned my TCP into a dog and will be increasing that vibe ASAP. whoo ![]() [image description: a massive pastel green TCP posing flamboyantly, welcoming in an almost overwhelmingly soft way. ] NUZZLE He/Him i'm Nuzzle! i like to front when people need a helping hand around the house or just a reprieve from fronting, and love things like pastels, storybook illustrations, etc. griffins are my favorite animal, so i think it's safe to say i'm going for something big, soft, and somewhere in that direction. ![]() [image description: a tall peach colored TCP, serenely pleased to be here. ] PARKER He/Him hello, i'm Parker! i haven't had basically any time to chat with people, so i'll be very happy to make peoples' acquaintances. i'd like to make my TCP very spring-like and floral, with the delicacy of an old doll... ![]() [image description: a short, fat brown TCP greeting the camera. ] PINPRICK She/Her i'm an introject of our IRL pincushion and everyone is very perturbed by it, lol. i really like animal crossing and more specifically Sable Able, and am going for a short, squat, hedgehog-inclined base with this. ![]() [image description: a blue TCP lounging on his back, his nametag unfortunately and suggestively positioned between his legs. ] REC He/Him [no response could be taken aside from a mildly perturbing smile, sorry] ![]() [image description: a tiny pitch black TCP with red eyes, looking curiously at the viewer. ] REMIX He/Him i am Remix and i am happy to be hhere i do not know much about what to say but i like Spooky things and having fun with friends ok!!! [for the sake of accuracy, please read this as a YTP style sentence mix.] ![]() [image description: a simple blue TCP caught in a mid-sentence pose, and looking somewhat stressed about it. ] SCAPULA He/Him i'm scapula, and i'm what many people in the system call """""the office boy"""""" (please do not call me this). i handle a lot of organizational stuff around here and am a bit of a perpetual workaholic and as cashmere puts it "an attitude balance patch" from my components pre-implosion. i try to be helpful, at least, and my TCP is fairly basic because i enjoy feeling "stock" at times. i do plan on making him a bit more varied, though, because it's a little bit too close to Perfect Worker, my main typeless TCP avatar. ![]() [image description: a rather skittish looking purple TCP, his yellow eyes looking away nervously. ] SCAREDY He/Him i'm Scaredy, local virtual pet and game hacking enthusiast. i don't really know what to do with myself in a lot of ways, though i'd be happy to return to my interests when i'm more comfortable with them- things got pretty dicey last year. i have a lot of memories from high school, and this purple was one i loved a lot, so that plus a yellow i associate with the Petz cat Scaredy works well. expression to match, of course. ![]() [image description: a tall, elegant looking dull blue TCP, avoiding the camera and looking uncomfortable. ] SCRAWL She/Her i don't like descriptions. i want to make some kind of dragon. ![]() [image description: a miniscule pitch black TCP, white eyes and pink furrowed brows the only part of him visible outside of his angry posture.] SHRAPNEL He/Him imagine this thing running at you in the dead of night and that's kind of what i'm going for. i have some TCP avatars already that go for like, my more literal appearance? so this is some kind of horrible new experiment. i want him to be awful. ![]() [image description: a huge, fat pastel purple TCP, prancing around blissfully. ] SILKY It/Its i'm silky and i like BIG guys and making things that could hug you to death and i like my TCP for that. it's really good at being big and hugging things to death! ![]() [image description: a dark red-purple TCP with a large, fat stature and an unimpressed expression. her eyespots are distinctly pink. ] SIREN She/Her not sure where to start. i don't really have a lot of conscious thought about where i was going with this, just feeling out what feels right. i guess that describes me a lot atm, aimless but doing my best. ![]() [image description: a large, thick black TCP standing nonchalantly, tired and bored. ] SLYME He/They [wild shrugging] it's just kind of a guy i liked making ![]() [image description: a tall, white TCP, caught mid-walk and looking very startled. his worried eyespots have red lines underneath, almost akin to makeup. ] SNAPSHOT He/Him i! worked really hard on the eyespots for this one. all of the eyespots in this exercise are made with the same kit, which i think is really cool and interesting, and after seeing people get creative i really wanted to see what i could do. that's the part that i worked hardest at. also, i'm snap, sorry. ![]() [image description: a faceless blue TCP with her back mostly to the camera, short and nondescript. ] SPECTRO She/They i don't really want to write much, but i did like making this. my name is spectro and i don't really know how to make friends, but it would be cool to someday, probably. i'm trying. ![]() [image description: a short and squat red-brown TCP, standing defensively and looking frightfully to the side. ] SQUEAKER He/Him i'm squeaker (PLEASE DO NOT SHORTEN THAT TO SQUEAK I DO NOT ENJOY IT) and i have a lot of mixed feelings about being cute and small and harmless but i guess this thing is going to be me exploring that safely and without the associations i usually have with my direct body. yeah. ![]() [image description: a tall, white, stand-offish TCP, her expression irritated. ] STARLETT She/Her i thought this exercise would be stupid and it wasn't. i actually put a lot of effort into this even if it's simple. i don't have a lot to say about myself but this thing is cool. ![]() [image description: a somewhat shy, large blue TCP, sleepily looking away from the camera. ] TAFFY WRAP He/Him why the fuck do i have to go near the bottom? now i'm all anxious, fucking christ. i'm taffy and i kind of have a weird contrast between having a cute and sleepy design, and, uh, the swearing tics a lot of us have. i'm a pretty big mess, but this TCP came out cool, and i like it. i want to put him in cool sweaters. and PJs. ![]() [image description: a pure black TCP with white dot eyes, sitting politely and staring into the camera. ] VINCA They/It It's wild to speak like this when I haven't been able to before. Sometimes all you need is a little prompting. I wonder if my pronouns will stay the same, but I'm happy to be here. I enjoy shadowy beings and this one works very well. Good for getting up to mischief! ![]() [image description: a large, pale green TCP with a gaunt, lifeless expression, shambling around like a zombie. ] WARD He/It my name starts with a W, no question about me going last. i showed up in the middle of an excruciating ER trip and the name stuck, but it doesn't bother me any. going for a zombie looking guy, to surprise of no one else in the system. aaaand that's the current bunch. expect posts in between rounds of playing dressup to include renders, mini diary entries, idk! just having fun with this one. comments and questions are also more than welcome- we're cool with answering inquiries on how this works for us as long as people are kind. besides, i'm sure it'd mean a lot for us to say hi to people as our full selves, not just "mortis". |
