Well... Good to know Hacky Sack isn't in any immediate distress!

...we should uh. we should probably clue Tinder in on what the other two just learned and rip the band-aid off all at once.

Well then. "Perfect" health doesn't seem entirely accurate, but you digress. Hacky Sack seems like an otherwise normal Portal Type, ability and health-wise at least. You knew this branch had some new modifiers, but you didn't expect anything like this. At least it seems to be doing okay from what you can gather from it's thoughts.

The TCP limit has reached its maximum.

Nice, snagged two. The Friend Type spawns in first, falling to the ground with a grunt. Tinder is overjoyed at the presence of a new friend. The Portal Type should be here in a moment or two.
Speaking of new things, those mountains in the back are new. Must be the work of whoever just joined. Titans somehow remain unseen and icy rings now orbit high in this planet's atmosphere.

TEACH DUCK: A strong appreciation for grapes.

Uh. That... does not look like a normal Portal Type. It pulls itself off of the ground, accompanied by the sounds of joints creaking, bones snapping back into place, like something broke in the fall. You know it didn't, otherwise you would've gotten a notification, but it moves with a weight that Tinder and her new friend seem less affected by- if at all. Otherwise, it seems unharmed. What a strange creature.

Meanwhile, Tinder is happily chatting to the new Friend Type TCP. They seem to be in the process of getting comfortable around Tinder, even though they can't talk back.

CREATE: Creatures made of shadow that mimic whatever looks at them, in both appearance and ability. They spawn in any area sufficiently shadowy. They aren't necessarily malicious, but their kindness must be bought. They are hurt by direct light.

CREATE: Roving scrapstorms

Huh. It usually doesn't jump that high. Maybe someone else joined.

It seems to have noticed the new knowledge in its head. It straightens up, confused.

Strange ability, seems like its amped up from the original. Tinder seems mostly just confused at the sudden happenings, but is otherwise okay.

CREATE: CARBON DIOXIDE ATMOSPHERE

the carbon dioxide should dilute any oxygen that may have already been present, and prevent the fire from burning for more than a short moment. the contents of the atmosphere shouldn't matter to TCPs, since they don't breathe anyway. the presence of the lamp plants should slowly rebalance the atmosphere afterwards, assuming they take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen like earth plants do.
