The purpose of mirror counterparts is to be someone to gauge yourself against, particularly when you're taking actions or a path you're uncertain about.
Creme is sort of someone that anchored Ibarra for a long time until Ibarra's life became so threatened that the two were no longer able to connect very well.
Ibarra did what it took to survive, hoping a out would come. Creme wanted to join a rebellion even if it was the more dangerous choice.
Ibarra I think knows she's kind of on a timer though until her techniques become easier to mass produce.

1) Anura facts:
Probably not actually a mouse, more in line with a entity or a god-esque being. Exists somewhere in the world outside of being a cute mascot. Genuinely loves cheese.
2)
Creme is actually a expert in making chocolate and loves to bake everything from scratch.
Creme needs a therapist kinda badly. Being killed repeatedly and watching your physical self betray your ideals is hell.
3) Tiles has a few recurring dreams but a couple come up. One about a cyclone shaped object emerging from the earth, and another about being alone during the holidays.
