Mortimor: which one
The_larker: hah
The_larker: but seriously this one apparently goes pretty differently than ususal
Mortimor: wait do they actually win?
The_larker: don't know yet, I haven't finished and I didn't want to spoil the ending
The_larker: but there's definitely been some crazy stuff so far
The_larker: the collective's second type was just knife, but it actually really helped them (and also it was very cute)
Mortimor: Knife? I haven't seen one of those before.
Mortimor: Wonder what that would be like

Somewhere else on Morbit:

Poof!

A newly spawned knife-type plops onto the sand. They don't know much, but they know some things. They carefully prop themselves up with their arms, not sure enough to try standing just yet. Several other TCPs are on the beach around them, surrounded by the remains of a... boat, its a boat. They feel motivated to talk to the others, but they're reluctant to initiate contact when they don't even have a name yet.

For now, they'll just continue sitting on the sand.
