THE EDGE OF DISCOVERY
The Edge of Discovery (or just the Edge for short) are a small guild that specializes in exploration, scouting, and rescue. Right now they're focusing on taking odd jobs here and there to expand their resources, but their overall goal is to explore, record, and document every place there is! It's a mighty task, especially considering the nature of the portals to other neighborhoods, but they're going to try.
The original six members all have custom markings themed after an element- mostly for fun.
EMBURR - Questgiver
(She/it) [CRITTERS AU]
As a Questgiver, Emburr naturally finds herself in a leadership role more often than not. She's usually the one who accepts jobs on behalf of the group, choosing which member of the team is best suited for the task. Despite the fact that everyone else seems to agree with her choices, she always finds herself second-guessing her choices and worrying about her teammates.
PECK - Gottaway
(He/Him) [CRITTERS AU]
The obvious first choice for any underwater mission, Peck is energetic and jovial. He frequently keeps everyone's spirits high by cracking jokes and looking on the bright side of things. He can occasionally take a joke too far or tell one at the wrong time, but he never intends to hurt anyone with his words.
JACK - Choppem
(She/Her) [CRITTERS AU]
Jack tends to care more about her friends than about herself, which can lead to her overworking herself at times. Although she is easygoing and forgiving most of the time, she can be extremely short-tempered if someone close to her is threatened. It's almost impossible to upset her directly- but if you upset someone she cares about, you best watch out for that axe tail.
MANE - Sacredheart
(It/Them) [CRITTERS AU]
Mane often finds itself lost in thought. While this makes them more easily distracted, they can often provide unexpected, out-of-the-box solutions that don't occur to anyone else. It enjoys just sitting and looking at nature for long periods of time.
TREAD - Sneakz
(He/Them) [CRITTERS AU]
Tread often tackles problems head-on, leaping into danger without much thought. This tends to lead them into rough spots more often than not, but his quick thinking and determination are just as good at getting them out of danger. Tread is often the one to make the crucial split-second decisions that others might spend too long deliberating over. He and Lumin both wanted a rock theme for their markings, but Lumin eventually compromised and took her markings in a more cave-themed direction.
LUMIN - Clawclops
(Doesn't Care) [CRITTERS AU]
Lumin enjoys quiet and solitude, and tends to be on edge whenever there's too many people around. Lumin is comfortable enough around the rest of the guild, but escort missions tend to irritate them more often than not. While this makes them difficult to work with at times, he also tends to pick up on smaller details that others overlook. Lumin and Tread both wanted a rock theme for their markings, but Lumin opted to change theirs to a cave theme instead.
