hi everybody! with the launch of friendzoo, i was thinking we could get a little general chat going!

i've been playing with my guy, castor, for a few months now- i was a beta tester for the game and my lil guy was a rescue from one of the other devs, [CRITTER_CATCHER]. he figured i could take better care of him, and the two of us get along really well!

today, he's sitting with me while we watch videos together. we're keeping an eye out for any rescues in our "area" (hehehe how does that work digitally...) and i think our big focus will be helping with those!

but, yeah! how's everybody's rasters doing?

[CRUCIAL_ESCAPE] Hey. I'm... gonna be honest, I've been kind of avoiding Pally a little ever since Beta testing. I don't want to get into it, can't remember most of it anyways, but things have been weird. I figured it could leave if it got tired of waiting for me to come back. Far as I can tell it doesn't seem to have missed me all that much, but I'm gonna try and check in more with it later and see if we can reach some kind of--I dunno, some kind of... agreement. I can't remember why I was avoiding it but I've been havin these dreams...
[CRUCIAL_ESCAPE] Ugh. Sorry. Think I'm making excuses cause I feel kinda bad about ditching the game for so long and leavin Pally in there.

this morning i checked in with castor before work...he said i could take a picture for the chat while he was eating breakfast. he's a very polite little guy!

[V_GORE] eris and i have been looking at pictures of the stars together! shes been showing cirrus the pictures, which in my professional opinion is adorable! i try and spend time with them as much as possible. they're good company, and that's what matters to me.

hiii everybuny = ^ x ^ = just started fz for the first time tonite! it finally finished downloading, it took like 2 days on this old machine is it realy that big.... anyway my new raster is sooo cute but they wont eat any slime yet and im anxious to turn off the computer before they do bc id be a bad raster carer then...?? do u guys always feed them slime??? will they go sad if they are hungry? how do u even know if theyre hungry mine wont tell me. my allsort just kept knocking the bowl around and then asked to go in another room and idk how to take the slime somewher else. but they should have a proper meal before having a snack right... am i already messing up...

PS is it allowed to feed an allsorts the cheese stickz bc um that wouldnt go with licourice right??? = Ó x Ò =

slime is the basic food we've got so far, yeah. if you want to vary it up a bit, we also provided some jelly cubes to munch on and some bottled slime and soda, which comes in different flavors and can be handfed to your rasters. it can be helpful for cautious or skittish ones.

generally people like eating things yes
with time you'll be able to build up your raster's vocabulary and they'll be able to articulate more to you. it takes some time but we have a download up on the site for a "language kit" that you can teach to your raster and have them get up to speed quicker. it may cause some disorientation if you go too fast, though.

you can click and drag items into the carrying case, and that takes them from area to area.

you are allowed to feed your rasters any of the food we've provided regardless of species and i am pretty sure allsorts enjoy cheese

hi everybody! i'm rags, the other dev of friendzoo- nice to see crit in here already.

i can confirm: there is nothing wrong with feeding an allsort cheese. you should be totally fine.

as for my own contributions to the thread...my rasters have been doing good, though we had a bit of a scare this morning! two little patchimi ended up wandering into our game- it looks like they're from a game that didn't fit what they need, though thankfully nothing serious...they're pretty undeveloped, which works out for us i guess...if they're not fully sapient or whatever yet, it means that any impact left by their previous home should be easy enough to work through.

i'll take pictures of them later! it's kind of distressing to know there's already homes that aren't suitable, but it does look like the system of allowing them to freely come/go is working out.

they're a bit rival-like in behavior...they seem to squabble over how much attention i'm paying to either of them, and i think i'll be rehousing them to some of the other devs...while they don't hate each other, i think it'd be good for them to get some space.

omgee soda and cooky are sooo cute = ♡ x ♡ = i hope rehousing goes smoothly for u i had some issues with that the other night like did u guys know rasters can walk onto another machine all by themself???? omg i was so scared they ran away forever but it seems they j wanted 2 explore... we do have a lot of computers at home so it does make sence but its scary!!!

thankfully i had help and they r now back home..... extra blankie time so they feel welcome!

This is an ambiguous enough case where action will not be taken regarding "breaking and entering" but to be clear we do not support. Breaking and entering.

With that said, TCPs wandering into the homes of complexes is something common to many experiences, and should not be viewed in bad faith. This is, assuming the home belonged to a complex, though.

I will say that you should probably avoid snooping in peoples' homes. But it does look like the rasters are happier with you. Take care of them.
