The sign at the front reads "STUNT TROUBLES INVESTIGATIONS". You eye the interior up and down - all muted and dim, but it had style and no legs to be seen.

At least, not until a stumpy little gator waddles onto the scene. He sits himself behind the front desk, looking over papers, pretending he didn't see you - kinda silly and unobservant for a so-called investiGator.

Speaking of papers, there's some forms at the front desk. You could speak to the stubbigator directly or fill out the forms. Or do something else, like it matters in a city like this...
 

INVESTIGATION: FREE, FOR A PRICE...

One look at a guy like that and you probably can't glean anything because you're probably not an investigator. Good thing he loves talking about himself unprompted. He'll investigate anything for free - suspicious activity, looking for something you've lost, he'll even investigate your pets while you're away to see if they have food and water (but if they do he'll probably eat and drink some of it, as "payment" or whatever. Then he'll investigate who stole your pets' food and water for you.)

It won't cost you anything - a guy like him's in it for the thrill of the hunt. But if you can give him something he wants (or just plain tickets), he'll be willing to go... lengths he otherwise wouldn't.

Perhaps you’re looking for…more detailed modifications. Horns, wings, perhaps some new eyes…? Or perhaps an incredibly stunning new fur coat… While we can’t fully control what you get, our interview process should lead you to finding satisfaction in no time!

150 GUILD TICKETS- Extreme Experimentation
An entire, full body change, with a much more involved process…this process can take some time and requires a lot of feedback, but could lead to you becoming more than you’d ever dream. If there’s some kind of goal or wish you want to achieve…let us help you with this.
 
[These experiments are involved roleplays that could require a lot of back and forth depending on what level of treatment you get. As the disclaimer says, these changes are artistic liberty, and while you do not have to keep your changes, you have to reverse them within an IRL week of receiving and will not be refunded. Here you can set up little businesses, services, and establishments for your critters to run. If you have something that could require bartering, trading, or using forum cash (referred to as “guild tickets” in-universe, and canonically earned as a sort of community reward for helping everybody else), here’s the place for you to set up shop. You can also just get freeform with it and do whatever you like, so have fun!  
To set up a marketplace thread, make sure to add these to your opening post:
-a description of the establishment for IC context
-what services are available
-any applicable prices/trade offers at the moment
-anything else of note!
 
 
In-universe, most of the business done at the Nexus is through trade and bartering, whether that’s for goods and services. If your critter(s) offer custom services, they can ask for guild tickets (aka forum cash, OOC), but it’s generally discouraged unless you are providing something special that would require effort both on the player and critter’s side of things. For example: a farmer may trade for home-grown apples, but if a critter wanted a special apple pie for their birthday (especially if a nice description or graphic is added for the receiving player to collect and enjoy….), they could charge forum cash for it. Use this as a way to make forum cash via creativity!

When making a marketplace deal of any kind- you have to roleplay it out! This can be simple and quick or involve detailed conversations, it’s all up to you. Think of it as your critter getting visited by customers- perhaps they just want to talk, even. Just make sure to keep your main post updated with the actual things customers can prompt for, so that any new announcements don’t get lost!
