An nofficial bout
#1
To compress, i was originally going to write a silly little tangent, instead i got stuck on whether i should use unofficial or inofficial, this seems easy, just pick one or the other, same with grey and gray, colour and color, but apparently people use inofficial and unofficial in different situations, so what i really wanna ask:

In what way would one sound right and one sound wrong when in the same sentence?

I know this is 10~ days after the fact but I feel I probably should never talk to an English major, i have learnt from my prior actions and have promised to uphold a manor of more formal speaking. I am disgusted with myself.

Wait, learnt or learned
