RE: [SHOP] CANDY_CLUE'S MYSTERY SOLVING SERVICE - King-Clod - 09-19-2021

[_chill_]: alrighty

[_chill_]: so
[_chill_]: I've asked different lost media sites about this, no dice
[_chill_]: not because it's difficult to find, per say, people have found things harder to find before, more so that it's just
[_chill_]: no one seems to care about this series but me? I've had a few people try to help me find it here and there but it's, well, lost media, and most people give up after an afternoon
[_chill_]: so
[_chill_]: Diner Hero, ooold Spectersphere game, a tie in for a local tcp diner in my hometown. not a big production, maybe only 100 copies ever made, since it's a family diner and not a full chain. had a copy but it got ruined, trying to find it again. also I think there was a sequel planned that never got finished? so if you could help find a prototype of that, that'd be amazing
[_chill_]: it's a collectathon, you play as a conveyor type tcp hopping around levels finding food type soups, sandwiches, and cupcakes and fight these creatures throughout the levels called the "Reshuffled" (odd name, I know)
[_chill_]: had a surprising amount of care put into it, and way more levels than you think they'd put in a promotional game disk for a company. I think the person working at the diner at the time who made it moved into a game career shortly after? I've found a few leads having to do with that but they were all dead ends, they seemingly dropped off the map
[_chill_]: there was a whole level where you fight an old childhood friend that wasn't mentioned before then? the plot was all over the place, and was real anti-divinity. like, the world had it's own seperate god system (which resembles horrors and terrors more than gods, honestly.) gods give their followers mutations and special abilities in return for their belief, stronger gods changing their followers until they're unrecognizable and don't know who or what they are anymore. the "Reshuffled." you only learn this through the blue signs littered throughout the levels. the yellow signs are game tips and the red signs are messages from your Diner Diety. it implies that eventually you'll have to kill a god (your character wants to be a Hero, the games version of knights)
[_chill_]: craaazy stuff. got recalled early since a lot of the game's themes seemed to have a real anti-demon message
[_chill_]: gamedev's name was Dennis if that helps at all, a pretty odd name
[_chill_]: I'm thinking it could be 20
[_chill_]: wait shoot there's a form I'm sorry gimme a sec

mystery size: large
description of mystery: tldr: lost media, Diner Hero, old diner game made for local diner (Goops and Soups, a tcp led diner), made by someone named Dennis. Trying to find the game, and maybe a prototype of the sequel
any additional clues: last I saw of Dennis's work was a now dead website for a game they made on their own time, Tyrannical Wonderland. saw it mentioned only by name - maybe this was the sequel they wanted to make, under another name? not sure, so I'm only listing it here
alternate payment method?: nah, I got the money. I can pay more if this is a bit much to look into
