Samurai Duel - 1011686 - 08-26-2019 This is a fast, fun game that is played between 2 or 3 people. You play as injured samurais, fighting out to the death. If you land a hit on your opponent, you win, unless they hit you at the same time, in which case it's a draw. The game works like this: You both start in the middle. Each player has 10 actions, and each round everyone picks one and tells me (forum PMs are typical for this kind of thing, but honestly it's probably easiest and fastest if you just message me on Discord). All actions are then carried out, and if neither player has landed a hit on the other, the game continue into the next round. Once you use an action, you cannot use it again in the same game. If the game goes to 10 turns without a winner, the game ends and its a draw. Each player has: -5 Wait actions Waiting does nothing. -2 Move actions Move either 1 square up or down. Movement happens before attacks. -1 Slash action Attacks all players in the same square as the attacker. -1 Lunge action Attacks all players in a square adjacent to the attacker. -1 Block action Prevents attacks from hitting the blocker. Game summary: You have 2 attack actions, which you win if you hit your opponent with. They have a number of ways of avoiding an attack, and if you miss, you can't use that attack again, so you need to time your attacks carefully. Also this game is technically playable with more than 3 people, but that greatly increases the chances of everyone dying on the first turn. If you want to play, post in this thread (along with your discord username if it is different from your forum username), and I'll message you when we start. As long as all players are active, this game can finish in a couple hours, and it definitely shouldn't take more than a few days at the most. If people like this game, I'll keep running it and keep track of wins, and I promise to write the person with the most points a short fanfiction of something of their choice.
